The location is amazing. Stunning view. Lovely deck to sit on while taking it all in. And it is great that the view is still there even if you are inside. Thanks to everything being glass. The fireplace was great for late night reading.

It’s no one’s fault but I didn’t like carrying all our stuff from the parking at the water tank down to the house. It’s took quite a few trips up and down. And it was raining.

Stunning views from nearly every part of the cabin. Excellent communication from the management agency about some minor issues.

Drainage in the shower area is problematic.

Magnificent views and stylish interior. Beautiful furnishings and the fire was wonderful. Very stylish design and appliances.

The hosts just left the keys so we didn’t know how to properly use the coffee machine and the gas for shower ran out on first morning and we had to switch it over ourselves. There was enough wood for one night only and for the price we would expect more especially as there is a hot tub which we didn’t use as we were unsure how to properly use it. We also couldn’t get the braai to work we couldn’t find the button to ignite it so it’s important for the hosts to meet guests rather:

Unique mountain cabin tucked away with the most gorgeous views. The cabin is fully equipped for a luxurious self catering stay and also solar powered. The agents managing the cabin (Ansu) are extremely friendly and helpful. We visited during incliment weather and were still safe and able to still enjoy our time at the cabin. The solar system, gas geysers and fire place made out stay cosy and comfortable. We would love to return when the weather is much better. A truly beautiful location and unique experience.

It is on top of the mountain overlooking False Bay. The view was breathtaking, making sunset and sunrise even more majestic. Stargazing was an equally beautiful experience.

Logement superbe avec une vue à couper le souffle. Échanges très agréables et faciles avec le staff après la réservation. Nous recommandons vivement.

À noter qu'à notre arrivée il y avait énormément de vent et que le logement n'est pas très bien isolé de sorte que nous avons eu beaucoup de bruit la première nuit. Cela ne nous a pas dérangé.

The amazing views, the well appointed kitchen, the stillness of the house. Did I say views!!!

Nothing. It was almost perfect. If I can by raise a very small thing is that the bathroom floor becomes wet quickly (after a shower). We were only 2 people - on an admittedly cold and rainy weekend - but the floor stayed moist.

I loved the place, the views were exceptional. I took my partner there for his birthday getaway. The host kept on checking up on us. The place was clean and neat. The fridge was defrosted and it had still water and milk which we didn’t expect for a self catering property. The host’s partner Michael was there to handover the keys and he took us through everything that we needed to know. We didn’t take much pictures however we took a lot of videos. The view from the main bedroom was breathtaking!

We were met by the host and given a walk through the property. The cabin was cosy and had the most amazing view! Basic amenities were provided for our stay, a great place to relax and unwind!

Just a couple of small things that could have added to the experience…. A couple of bathrobes in main bedroom would have been lovely, a cover on the hot tub ( to assist with heat retention), a question on pre arrival as to whether you’d like the hot tub ready upon check in, and a little more wood to be provided.

With the soft tug of the wind winding down the evening, you will watch in awe as the spectacular milky way reach and stretch above you. The bronzy pink hues change the landscape with dawn, and you will hear the small inhabitants of the mountain slowly rise to meet the day. Cold beer and a warm smile from a local is close enough when you need it, with a random check in from the local baboons as they gently cruise around and entertain with their antics. You are bound to be captured regularly by the breathtaking ocean views, ensure sufficient time to embrace it. Honour the gifts you receive here…

Sometimes you just cannot believe how amazing these places are and that only a few people get to enjoy them. This is one of them. We had such an incredible time at Klein Hangklip. The cabin is just out of this world. Probably one of the most well equipped places we have ever stayed at. My daughter woke us up at 6 am every morning. And I didn't mind sitting in the comfy armchairs looking over false bay. Could have easily spent more time here.

Everything was perfect. Nothing to complain about.

Karen was in contact with me the day before and arranged time of arrival and when I arrived, she was already waiting for me. The interior of the facility is absolutely world class! It is beautifully decorated, it has all the necessary utilities to make your stay comfortable, it has the most awesome view and needless to say it is very peaceful. We visited on the weekend when half of Cape Town blew away and although we had wind, it was still ok as we could still have a braai seeing that we could pull the gasbraai underneath the roof and that area is quite protective against the wind. I think it's important that overseas guests understands that you don't go and stay there to be close to the beach or at least not in walking distance. You are very high up in the mountain, but hence the most spectacular views! I know the area has baboons but they have electric fencing so we didn't see one of them but Karen will explain to you how to manage them, so they are genuinely not a problem. The beds were comfy and we had a great stay. It is the type of place where you will go for 2 days to rest, chill, have a glass of wine and just enjoy the silence around you surround by the most beautiful nature. The house is designed with lots of windows so you can really enjoy the mountain and sea view.

This is not a complaint but perhaps important for some guests to know that the bathroom is shared by both the rooms as well as the toilet - easy to get around this but perhaps worth knowing if you are 4 people visiting and you aren't family - we truly had no complaints!

The views were out of this world. The property inside and out are stunning. Very well stocked for a holiday home

This place is next level, it's on top of my list of places I visited. Everything we needed was there. I enjoyed check in as the host Dalien wasn't there, but her husband (partner) did a great job of welcoming us. Gave us every detail of the place and things we needed to know. However she did give me a call to apologize thst she couldn't make it. And I just love their friendliness. But it really just started our weekend off on a good note. I must just say the views are pretty stunning and very much Instagram worthy. You will not be sorry by booking this beautiful place.

The views are breathtaking, beautiful mix between indoor and outdoor, could spend hours lazing outside or just enjoying the views from the hot tub. Property is fully equipped and host is very helpful.

Not easy to access the beach

It was a pitty we ran out of water and hot water during our stay. But this will not keep me from coming back.

The most stunning view onto False Bay !! Everything was perfect - beautiful, modern interior and exterior. Hot tub on the patio was wonderful. We loved every moment.

Only negative experience was the morning we checked out. Host came with cleaning lady already 9:30, even though check-out was 10:00 and started to clean and watching us pack. Felt very uncomfortable ! Guests should have enough privacy to pack up and enjoy the last 30 Minutes on the premise.
