L'Arasol Pension è un posto magnifico: camera spaziosa, arredata con cura, pulitissima e con una vista fantastica, l'host è stata gentilissima, sempre attenta e discreta, ci siamo sentiti come a casa. La posizione è ideale per girare l'isola, in uno dei tratti di costa più belli, con spiagge e porti per i traghetti nelle vicinanze.

Tout était parfait, un vrai petit paradis. Une propriétaire adorable aux petits soins pour nous, une vue incroyable, le calme. Rien à redire. Nous n’avions plus envie de partir. Encore merci pour l’accueil.

Een idyllische locatie op nog geen 2 uurtjes rijden van Busan. Gezellig ingerichte huisjes met een kleine keuken en ruim balkon. Het huisje dat ik boekte heeft veel lichtinval dus een slaapmasker is handig. De hosts zijn supervriendelijk en staan steeds klaar om tips te geven en te helpen.

The pension itself is great, very clean, super friendly hosts that create a family kind of atmosphere without loosing the so important feeling of total privacy. I would highly recommend it, entire family (two adults + two kids 6+8 yo) loved it!

The only must have is a car, it would not make sense stying there without one. Optional breakfast would be great.

This is a real hidden gem in Geoje. We visited with my husband and 2 tween daughters. We had separate rooms next to each other, and they upgraded our room so we could be next to the kids. This meant we had a wonderful wrap around balcony with a spa (this is the british room) and the girls had a super cute french room with the upstairs purple room which they loved. The views are absolutely incredible. There were great kitchen facilities. The 2 staff we met were so helpful, using translation to meet all our needs. They helped us out with some laundry and booking a taxi to go back to the bus station. It is about a 10 minute walk to Gujora beach which is the nest nearby swimming beach (although it would be a 2 minute drive if you have a car) although half the walk has a really nice path though the greenery.

The owners are very kind and keen to maximalise you stay. Perfect way to slow down after city hopping

Het echtpaar dat het pension runt is bijzonder aardig en behulpzaam. De studio is zeer groot en het uitzicht is schitterend. Er is een korte route naar het strand. We konden koffie zetten van zelf gemalen bonen die in de keuken aanwezig waren.

Tout au bout d une impasse, face à la mer comme sur les photos. Tres calme. L hote est très accueillante. Elle nous a fourni un petit guide de l ile et des restaurants. Cela nous a bien aidé. Je recommande une voiture pour profiter de l ile. Douche bien chaude et bonne pression. Un café a 100m pour les paresseux comme nous qui ne veulent pas s occuper de leur petit déjeuner.

Une petite attention : malgré les rideaux occultants quand le jour se lève il fait assez clair dans le logement. Cela ne nous a pas empêché de nous rendormir après avoir ouvert un œil 😉

Cosy and clean cottage by the sea. Loved the excellent seaview from our room. The outdoor bath tub was great. Nice coffee beans provided. Bought the delicious bread from the bakery down the road for breakfast the next day. Good for a relaxed holiday.

Im Sommer könnte es im Schlafzimmer unangenehm heiß werden! Wir waren im Frühling dort und es war zum schlafen schon fast zu warm!

We thoroughly enjoyed stay our right on the coast at this property, chosen for the excellent views and the novelty of the bath on the balcony, which we thought our daughter would like. Despite not speaking each other’s languages, communication with the hosts was easy and they were very friendly. There’s a great sunny cafe 2 mins walk away, serving up good coffee, pastries and more excellent views. We enjoyed this whole area of Geoje island, and would stay and visit again.

Definitely the best stay I’ve had in Korea. The most beautiful views you could ask for, incredibly cute room, and darling staff. They upgraded my room free of charge to include a spa and gave me a ride to the ferry the next morning and made sure I got a discount. Such a fond memory for me. Definitely stay here if you can!

A little off the beaten path but nothing a taxi can’t get you to! Absolutely worth it for the peaceful stay and incredible views.

The location is great, easy access to many places of interest. The view from the room is priceless. The owners were really nice too and the place was very clean. The place is a little older but more in a charming way, we felt very comfortable.

Really not much to complain. I guess the soundproofing isn't the best, but that didn't bother us much.

Incredible 180-degree-plus view of the sea and village across the water - so tranquil and soothing. Jacuzzi tub on the balcony allowed us to "soak in" the view and facilitated sleep. Hosts were quick to respond with helpful information and offered to do things for us that made our stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. So much to see/do in the area: hikes, beaches, little costal fishing villages, towns with neighborhood restaurants, sophisticated restaurants and cafes (try the Italian restaurant nearby), cable cars, observatories with outstanding views of the sea and autumn tree colors. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and created lasting memories of a wonderful time.

Nous n’avions pas de voiture pour venir à cet établissement, ce qui est donc très compliqué pour se déplacer. Il vous faut absolument une voiture sur place ! Les gérants de l’établissement ont été très à l’écoute et on pu nous appeler plusieurs taxi pour nous déplacer facilement

Beautiful tranquility location, next to the South Sea. The rooms clean and boutique-style pension, awesome views with outdoor BBQ facility. Walking distance to the Gujora Port ( 구조라 선착장) for the Haegeumgang (해금강) and Oedo ( 외도) cruise. Mr. Lee, owner of the pension is very nice; knowledgeable to the sights and restaurants. He is willing to give you ride to the restaurants, if you needed. We were very happy and came home with the great memories. I highly recommend Arasol Pension for nice accommodation!

The room was comfortable, clean, and private. The view from the porch over the bay was amazing. The owner was thoughtful, kind, and engaging. And, the pension was within a short walk from a lovely cafe and good restaurants.

We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful host, and amazed by the views from the property. The balconies look out over the bay and we loved sitting and having a drink (and a spa) whilst watching the sun set and listening to the waves lapping at the shore

Une vue incroyable, joliment décoré, très propres, très calme. On était comme chez nous. Allez-y les yeux fermés. Vraiment très chouette et le coin est magnifique.Les propriétaires extrêmement gentils, vraiment une bel expérience.

Ras, c'est vraiment parfait!

La pension est très bien située. Nous avons une vue magnifique depuis l hébergement. Si vous êtes sans véhicule on peut trouver des resto et des convenience store . On peut aller à pied jusqu’au ferry pour l île de oedo jardin botanique. Pour visiter l’île de Geoje il est quand même préférable d avoir une voiture.

This is a hidden gem! Perfect apartment style accommodation, with a terrace which has its own bbq, a jacuzzi and a beautiful sea view. The owner was wonderful and very helpful, thank you so much! Very comfortable and clean, and very relaxing.

This is our second time staying at Arasol. The accommodations are cozy and well put together. The view and deck is superb. The hostess is beyond helpful. We love it here so much

Maybe one of the best places I've stayed at in Korea. It's got so much character, it's clean, comfy, well thought out. The view is insane. The spa bath super nice... Loved it.

We absolutely fell in love with this pension! We stayed during the winter off-season and had the privilege of occupying the most beautiful ocean-view room all to ourselves. The view outside our window was absolutely breathtaking! The room itself was incredibly spacious and immaculately clean, furnished with elegant simplicity. The floor heating system worked perfectly, keeping the room cozy and warm throughout our stay. We also appreciated the well-equipped, spacious kitchen where we enjoyed cooking ramen. While the excellent facilities and amenities left us thoroughly impressed, the true gem of this pension is undoubtedly its wonderful host. She was incredibly hospitable, warm, and thoughtful. Whenever we messaged her asking for local dining and sightseeing recommendations, she responded promptly and efficiently. Her recommendations were detailed and carefully curated. The grilled fish and oyster restaurants she suggested offered exceptional value for money. We're particularly grateful for her helpful tips about ferry ticket discounts and luggage storage at the POW Camp. Thanks to her recommendations, our trip was filled with unforgettable memories. We will definitely recommend this pension to all my friends. If I have the chance to visit Geoje Island again, I would absolutely choose to stay here again, and I look forward to seeing the host's warm smile once more. We wish her eternal health, happiness, and good fortune!

The only minor drawback is that the area is somewhat quiet, with limited restaurants, cafes, and bars nearby, many of which operate on reduced hours during the off-season. However, this tranquility makes it easier to connect with nature and appreciate the peaceful seaside atmosphere.

The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The view waking up in bed from the corner-room windows was amazing. The room was super cute and clean. And the staff was very helpful and even did our laundry for us (and it came back smelling great!) We loved this place!

It would be nice to have a warmer light in the living room instead of the bright white light. Also, a brighter light in the bathroom would be nice. But that’s all! It was so nice I hate to say anything I didn’t like about it!

One of the greatest places we have ever been. Marvellous view on the sea, the only sound you hear are the waves, a special experience to sit in the whirlpool on the balcony with its fantastic view and a very friendly host who really cares about her guests-we even got a delicious dinner from her on one evening. Close to a beautiful beach.

The view was amazing!! We really enjoyed the location because it was quiet and relaxing. Would recommend hiring a car. There’s a really cute cafe near by if you want to get good coffee but the pension also provides coffee and you have private kitchen facilities. We cooked one night and looked over the beautiful ocean. The owner is really helpful and gives you tips for local places to eat.

Everything was good. As I said we hired a car from Busan because of other people’s recommendations and if you didn’t have a car it would be a bit limiting on where you could go

Very beautiful pension, looks exactly like in photos. Very comfortable bed and good quality bed linen. Absolutely stunning views from the balcony. Very kind and helpful hosts, they greeted us on arrival and showed around, helped with the laundry. Definitely recommend!

The hostess made great efforts to communicate with us, give us recommendation for dining and recreation and met every request we made. We speak no Korean and she spoke very little English but she made this easy with her phone. She was extraordinary in helping me with some laundry as this was the mid-point of our trip and we needed our clothes refreshed. I cannot say enough nice things about her. The view from our room was spectacular! An odd thing to highlight but I thought the shower in our room felt great. The cafe right up the hill was a special place for breakfast. My favorite was the pumpkin latte!

Wonderful host who is very helpful and proactive. We didn't want to drive out in the night to eat dinner, she offered to help order fried chicken delivery. She is responsive and replies messages very quickly through booking.com. The view from the room is amazing and even better with a jacuzzi. There are cooking utensils available in the room and even a bbq area on site. Lovely relaxing place with a charming Yoodol cafe ( with a great view) 1 min drive away. Gujora Beach and cruise terminal is only 4min drive away.

You need a car to reach Arasol.

Beautiful ocean view with hot tub on the balcony made for a relaxing stay after a day of hiking around the gorgeous island. Owner was incredibly helpful and welcoming, (via translation apps!) offered to make us gimbap on our arrival and on other days. We were left alone during our stay which we appreciated, with fresh towels left on the door for us. Fast communication via the booking.com account messaging system if we needed to make contact with them. The pension is located on the south coast in between two beaches which were both walkable distances. The entire coast is just beautiful, so the pension is a great place to be located. On arrival, we got a taxi from Geoje bus station, the driver rang the property to double check location, then the owner was waiting for us at the property. On departure, the owners called a local taxi for us to get back up to the bus station. They were so friendly and welcoming. A great stay, very comfortable and clean. Would recommend, and would stay here again.

No fault of the property itself but we didn't have a car, and the buses are few and far between (e.g. 4 a day), so our days were very dependent on the bus times! We stayed during the end of October so it was lovely and quiet everywhere but we found we would end our days out at dinner in Geoje city in the north of the island, as more restaurants were opened there, then would have to taxi it back which wasn't a problem. Make sure you get bus timetables from the local website, and check the last bus times at the places you visit etc to plan your days accordingly! It did feel a sense of achievement getting around the island to time, especially as we don't speak Korean, and English is not widely used here like other areas in Korea! (There is no live bus tracking on Naver Maps app). Don't let the limited buses put you off, you just need to be a little more organised. We get spoilt with city living! We managed it just organising each day the night before! The island and its southern coast is worth it!

This is a special place with views unlike any other lodging on the island. It overlooks a small island called Yoondol and there is a beautiful cafe (1 min walk) at the end of a small street that celebrates the view. The street is lined with a few other pensions and the hike down to the water from the cafe is spectacular. There are beaches and lots to do on either direction of the island from this Yoondol Village. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable with crisp white linens, and the whole place is well-maintained and extremely clean. The hosts are wonderful, responsive, and thoughtful. And yes, the spa baths are absolutely worth it.

Best views on the island with spa baths in each room. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, with crisp linens and towels. Location was perfect with many food and market options as well as beaches minutes away by car. This pension is on the end of a short charming street lined with a few other pensions and it feels festive and cozy at the same time. The best coffee shop in the area is a minute walk up this street. The hosts are incredible — responsive and friendly. They went above and beyond with recommendations, travel tips, and helping with transportations and more. After spending a week exploring the island, would not stay anywhere else but here next time.
