Very good location in Canggu, but still quiet. No construction nearby. Owner and staff are very friendly. Very clean rooms and kitchen. Room has everything you need: Table, Storage options, TV. The WIFI is super fast. Highly recommended!

Super saubere und tolle Unterkunft. Wir haben 3 Nächte dort geschlafen und waren begeistert. Das war das bequemste Bett auf unserer ganzen Indonesienreise. Zudem war es extrem sauber. Das Bad war für indonesische Verhältnisse sehr gut. Draußen ist noch ein gemeinschaftlicher Pool und es gibt es Kochniesche mit Kühlschrank, Herd und Wasserkocher. Außerdem hat man die Möglichkeit, wenn man eigenes Waschmittel mit hat, zu waschen. Das Personal war sehr lieb.

Eine neue und sehr gut geführte Anlage mit sehr freundlichen Service. Fas Zimmer war sauber die Betten bequem. Es gab einen kleinen Pool und eine überdachte Gemeinschaftsküche am Pool. Die Lage ist gut und ruhig. Restaurants und Supermarkt in der Nähe. Sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis

Eine neue, saubere und gepflegte Anlage zu einem sehr guten Preis. Die Betten sind bequem und groß, das Zimmer und Bad ebenso. Es gibt einen Pool und eine Gemeinschaftsrecht. Das Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich.Die Lage der Anlage ist zentral, fußläufig zum Strand mit vielen Restaurants in der Nähe.

Loved the location and pool. The property is located on one of the main streets of Canguu but is tucked down an alley so you’re far enough from the main road that you don’t notice any traffic. The construction has finished that was behind the property so there is no construction noise which I noticed in previous reviews.

Everything! The place is well maintained, very peaceful. The staff were lovely and they ask you if you want your room cleaned. The bed is soo comfortable, best bed we had. The pool is nice. Kitchen is also available for use. The location is perfect for us, just a short walk to the beach, we really loved that street we call it brunch street less busy compared to other streets. Highly recommend!

Great homestay, has a real 'feel-good' vibe about it. Excellent location! Just off the main street with plenty of amazing cafes right on your doorstep, and the beach a 5-10 minute walk away. Kitchen is well equipped and looks over the pool. The rooms are spacious, with a desk. Bed is very comfortable, rooms are cleaned every 2 days which is just the right amount. Big bathroom but very basic, only bodywash provided. Provide a washing machine, but you have to purchase your own washing powder. I extended my stay which I think says a lot :)

No fault of the property, but there is a LOT of noise from construction. Starts around 8am every morning. When you shut your room door it blocks out a bit of the noise, and if you're out during the day, it should be fine. It makes it a little harder to enjoy the facilities (pool, communal seating area) during the day. The owner lets you know this before arriving which is fantastic, and I haven't let the construction affect my score - just something you should know. Also, the fridge doesn't shut properly sometimes so overnight food can spoil if it hasn't been closed properly.

The room is nice, with everything you need. The owner is really friendly and a nice guy and his family as well. I wrote the owner that we have a little problem with the shower and his father was 5 minutes later here and fixed it. Also the stuff was really friendly and kept the place super clean. I can recommend and would come back again.

Clean, simple, comfy, great location. Cute shared kitchen which water for your water bottle and fridge. Nice seating area outside for working. Drying rack. Honestly such a great place for the price.

Only tiny annoying thing was the outside covered area with a big table and benches would have been great for chilling or working in the evening but the overhead spots like were so bright I couldn't sit there - some lower light would have been awesome.

Nice place to stay, spacious rooms, very nice and helpful host, super comfortable bed and pillows, good location. only 4 rooms which is making this place comfortable and not crowded.

The construction noise,but the host informed me about it at the beginning and offered free cancellation if this is an issue for me. And this is not hosts fault. Also the room cleaning not every day.

There is construction next door that runs from about 7am to 7pm, even on Sundays. They did send me a message about it when I booked and explained it and said I can cancel the booking. I decided to go ahead since I wouldn’t be spending much time at the property. But it may be an issue for those that sleep late and want to relax in the room.

This place was perfect. It is extremely good value for money. The place looks brand new, the gardens are maintained to perfection, the pool is very clean. The rooms are beautiful spacious and very clean. There are only 4 rooms I think in this home stay and so it is very peaceful and cosey. This was my favourite place we stayed in Bali.

This place is amazing. The room was spacious, SO clean and the bathroom was also perfect. TV with all the apps for people who like to chill in the evening. The outside area was also really nice with a great little kitchen equipped with everything you need and also free coffee, tea and drinking water. The small pool was also great. The family that runs this homestay are also the friendliest people and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Thanks again!

There is a lot of construction next door

I’ve stayed at Konex homestay for 8 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The location is perfect! It takes approximately 7 mins walk to the beach and we have enjoyed our daily routine to the beach having morning walk & watching the sunset. We also tried to walk along the beach to Finns beach club in the morning and it was absolutely enjoyable. Besides, there are many nice restaurants within just minute walk. We enjoyed our breakfast time dining in different restaurants in the area. The neighborhood is very safe and friendly even you are a solo female traveler. The owner, Wayan, is extremely helpful , friendly, warm and always responds messages quickly. He and his team always tried their best to meet customers’ requirements. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is planning on visiting Canggu. 😊 Thank you Wayan for everything! 🙏

Owner who is talking to loudly and fighting with employees on the pool. I had to tell them to calm down, I was not able to work. It lasted for hours. So impolite. Plus there is a noise from reconstruction. Forget about working and relaxing from 7 to 21.

We liked the size of the room and bathroom. It was comfortable and quiet at night. Pool was clean and inviting. Clean fresh drinking water is always available from the communal kitchen. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Plenty of restaurants and bars in short walking distance as is the beach. Unfortunately during our stay there was major construction work both beside us and out on the street but once it stops at 10pm, it’s lovely and quiet.

At the moment there’s quite a bit of construction going on around the place which means it’s definitely noisy during the day. That said everything else is spot on. The place is immaculate, staff if super friendly and helpful if you want to rent a scooter or need recommendations for food or activities or a transport to somewhere (thank you, Made!) and they really make up for the bit of inconvenience with the noise. I loved it there.

This place was great in every way. Room/facilities- SO CLEAN. The first thing I noticed when I arrived was just how clean everything was. From my room, to the communal kitchen, even the pool, everything was always so clean. The rooms are spacious, with everything you need, including a nice lil desk and full length mirror. Bathroom was really nice, and again, so so clean. Location- very good location, walking distance to the beach and heaps of the good restaurants/cafes and bars. Short scooter ride away from some of the bigger beach clubs. Staff- The staff are AMAZING. They are so lovely and kind, and also very easily contactable through whatsapp if you need anything. I loved everything about my stay at Konex, especially for the price it's such great value for money. 10/10 would stay here again and highly recommend to everyone else :)

Never been asked for a passport photo to be taken so that was a bit bizarre. Apart from that, the location was right next to the construction site so a lot of noise in the morning and throughout the day. No hairdryer was provided, and the mattress was quite firm.

Amazing: The cleanliness, the service, safety, location, close to everything and the beach, spacious, cozy, responsive hosts. Kitchen, free washing machine and drinking water, smart TV and warm water in the shower. Away from the main road. Hosts have an eye for lovely details. Wayan was planting new plants in the garden and everything looked just welcoming, like home. His family is the best and over the top welcoming. Wish them all the best and hope to come back soon.

There were dogs barking every night and construction work during the day even on Sundays but I accepted it as everything else was awesome.

The location was great, lots to walk to. Small place with just 4 rooms, but still had a small pool, laundry facilities, a little shared kitchen, and it was a nice quiet stay with all the basics covered.

No shampoo or things like that, so be sure to bring your own. But otherwise you can really beat it for this price and location!

The building is new, beautiful and very clean, the accomodation had all the facilities I needed, even a shared fridge, kitchen and an iron. The host and staff are very nice. The location is good, on a back alley, but very close to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops and just a 10 minutes walk to the beach.

Next to the accomodation is a construction site and it's very noisy every day, all day long, starting 8 AM. Also, some nights I could here a noise that seemed to come from a generator, but I can't say exactly. So it's a good idea to bring earplugs.

Perfect location with easy walk to beach and lots of nice places to eat. Really clean property with washing facilities and a kitchen which was so appreciated! Staff very friendly snd eager to help out too.

Incredibly helpful people, the accommodation was as clean as it could possibly be. Everything was fantastic and I had an great stay.

The property is magnificent. It is brand new and has been put together with a lot of thought and an emphasis on comfort and quality. The bed has a high quality brand new mattress, the room is immaculately clean with high quality wooden furniture, a desk if you need to work, a lock box in the wardrobe, silent a/c, thick curtains, high quality bedlinen and towels, nice lighting options in the room, smart tv for Netflix and YouTube. The garden and pool are immaculately maintained, the dining area and kitchen are great for preparing meals and eating at the property. A unique feature is the washing machine to do your own laundry. Free drinking water, local coffee and tea is also provided as well as a shelf in the fridge for each of the 4 rooms. The property is 5mins walk to the beach. There are also many restaurants, cafes, gyms and shops within walking distance. The owner is very kind, caring, respectful and diligent. He lives next door so is always available should you need anything.

The only issue with this property is the noise from construction work nearby. The work starts around 8am, stops between 12-1pm, and then normally is all finished by around 6pm. Most places in Canggu are currently impacted by building noise at the moment as there is a lot of construction work in the area, so this is not a unique problem to this property. When the construction noise is gone this property is worthy of a 10/10 score as it is truly a wonderful luxurious place to stay, and I cannot fault it in any way other than the neighbouring construction. A simple work around however is ear plugs for the morning or simply adjust your schedule to wake up around 8 and take a siesta at noon.
