Reviewed Sep 19, 2026I felt like a princess. The hostel is located inside the castle walls. It was very clean, fresh, comfortable, had everything a pilgrim needs and more. I liked that there was a list of products to buy like a glass of port and more. One of my best nights during Camino Portuguese.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Super Hostel! Eine sehr nette Dame hat mich empfangen und alles gezeigt. Die Lage ist toll mitten in der Altstadt, sehr süß. Die Matratze war super. Alles sauber. Einzig der Polster war gar nicht nach meinem Geschmack und viel zu hoch. Hab eine Decke als Polster benutzt :D

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Not allowed the shoes, lugguage and small backpack in the room. So put shoes in the reception area and lugguage in a big storage locker. Breakfast pretty good wuth fruits also. It locate inside the fortress so have to carry the lugguage from the bus station to the hostel on a rocky and uphill road. Quite difficult to me. Because it is only around 1K so taxi driver refuse to take us up the fortress

Es war teilweise sehr hellhörig. WC und Dusche ist gemischt.

La colazione niente di eccezionale , ma per cominciare la giornata va bene, yogurt, pane , latte caffè a 0,70 , a disposizione cucina con stoviglie. Mi è piaciuto avere nel corridoio due lavandini per potersi lavare le mani, senza occupare i bagni e doccia.

The staff take cleanliness seriously, and it’s the first hostel I’ve seen with proactive measures to prevent bugs, which was very reassuring. Breakfast is available and includes plenty of fruit, coffee, yogurt, cereal, bread, jam, and butter, although there are no substantial protein options more than milk. The beds also have curtains for extra privacy. It is slightly overpriced, but overall it is still a great option in town.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026The location was great and the worker was so nice and helpful. I needed to send my backpack ahead the next day and she helped me arrange that very quickly. The facilities were very clean as well.
The only thing I didn’t love was the locker situation. I fully understand their policy to not brings bags into the sleeping quarters to try to avoid bed bugs. However, the space by the lockers at the bottom of the stairs was very tight. I felt awkward and in everyone’s way digging through my bag to get what I needed. Overall, a small issue during an otherwise good stay.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Het interieur van het hostel. De ruimte als je binnenkomt is niet heel groot maar erg gezellig ingericht en dient ook als ontbijtruimte. Buiten zijn er een aantal zitjes. Stapelbedden zijn voorzien van gordijnen voor wat privacy. Het ligt ook in het centrum.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026Sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso da questa struttura. Gli spazi comuni sono moderni, arredati con gusto e molto puliti. La cucina è completa di tutto il necessario e il frigorifero offre sia prodotti messi a disposizione gratuitamente sia altri acquistabili autonomamente, un'idea davvero comoda. Nonostante bagni e camerate siano misti, ho trovato un ambiente molto rispettoso e organizzato. I letti garantiscono un'ottima privacy grazie alle tendine che chiudono completamente la cuccetta e sono dotati di luce personale e presa elettrica per ricaricare il cellulare. La struttura, sia all'interno che all'esterno, è ristrutturata e curata nei minimi dettagli. Ho apprezzato anche l'organizzazione: le scarpe si lasciano nell'area comune e gli zaini vengono riposti in armadietti personali con chiave, mantenendo le camere ordinate e pulite. La signora del check-in è stata estremamente disponibile e, nonostante non parlassi inglese, ha trovato il modo di spiegarmi tutto con pazienza. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità-prezzo: 25 euro assolutamente ben spesi.
Non ho riscontrato aspetti negativi durante il mio soggiorno.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Hostel muito simpático, com boa vibe, jovial e ao mesmo tempo com regras para manter o silêncio possível, bem localizado, camas nos quartos partilhados são bastante amplas e confortáveis, e têm cortina, o que oferece alguma privacidade, espaços bastante limpos. Já cheguei depois da hora do check in e por isso não conheci ninguém do hostel, mas foram sempre muito atenciosos, enviando mensagens com toda a informação necessária e respondendo às minhas dúvidas. Voltaria a hospedar-me aqui, sem dúvida
Almofadas demasiado altas, muito poucos banhos/sanitários para tanta gente, pequeno-almoço demasiado básico, barulho nas áreas comuns desde muito cedo

Anfitriã pouco simpática e pouco acessível. Barulho permitido depois das 23h e por volta das 4 da manhã havia o mesmo grupo de peregrinos a fazer barulho novamente, todos os outros peregrinos em descanso acordavam.
