Reviewed Aug 25, 2026NO BREAKFAST IS PROVIDED. THIS IS A COMPLETE FULLY EQUIPED HOUSE LOCATED ON A LARGE PROPERTY (FARM) AWAY FROM THE NOISY HIGHWAYS. IT IS VERY SECLUDED WITH A BEUTIFUL VIEW OF THE HARBOR. THE OWNER/LANDLORD LIVES IN THE ADJACENT HOUSE ON THE SAME PROPERTY.
THE TV DOES NOT HAVE ANY LOCAL CHANNELS. MY ELDERLY (83) WIFE COULD NOT SLEEP IN THE UPSTAIRS BEDROOM AS THERE IS NO HANDRAIL TO GO UP THE STAIRS. SHE SLEPT COMFORTABLY ON THE LIVING ROOM COUCH.

Leider nicht richtig sauber, das Haus hat, bis auf die Badezimmertür, keine Türen, auch die Schlafräume im oberen Stock sind nur durch einen Vorhang getrennt.

Het was echt niet schoon! Je moet zelf schoonmaken, het motto was dat je het moest achterlaten zoals je het aantrof. Dat zou niet best zijn. Ik heb het iets schoner achtergelaten maar het was echt vies. Op de afzuigkap ligt een dikke laag vet en stof. De raamkozijnen liggen vol spinnenwebben en dode vliegen. Op het terras geen tuinmeubelen, het was erg mooi weer dus moesten we stoelen uit de keuken buiten zetten. Comfort van de bedden niet heel goed. Keukenlades vies. Jammer, het is een schattig huisje en zou perfect zijn als het schoon zou zijn en er minder losse spullen her en der stonden.

Reviewed Mar 16, 2026The host welcomed us and showed us in. It was perfect for a couple. Well equipped kitchen, very spacious house, quiet and beautiful surroundings. Next time we'd definitely stay longer.
Water pressure oscillating a bit, but nothing that can't be managed. Bed might be too soft for some. As other guests noted, you're supposed to make and unmake the bed and clean up after yourself, but considering the price, we thought it was fair enough.

Reviewed Dec 29, 2025Mājā viss vajadzīgais. Šogad šeit nakšņoju jau otro reizi. Ļoti ērtas trepes uz otro stāvu. Vietējā pilsētiņas slidotavā man uzasināja slidas. Jo uz tik laba ledus ar neasinātām bija grūti slidot. Noskatījāmies hokeja ar bumbiņu spēli. Blakus slidotavai esošajā slēpošanas trasē atradām divus orientēšanās sporta kontrolpunktus.
Sniegs bija tikai Sundsvalas slēpošanas trasē 2km aplis. Būtu bijis sniegs būtu palikuši ilgāku laiku. Nācās braukt tālāk uz Lapzemi.

Reviewed Dec 25, 2025Das Haus liegt auf einem Anwesen, die Eigentümer sind vor Ort und super freundlich und unkompliziert. Das Haus ist super gemütlich. Wir haben es bisher als Zwischenstopp genutzt auf dem Weg nach Norden bzw. Süden. Wir sind schon das zweite mal dort gewesen und kommen sicher wieder.

Pone que tiene dos habitaciones pero en realidad es un lugar abierto separado por una cortinilla. Si necesitas privacidad quizá no sea tu sitio. Para mi era muy importante que los alojamientos tuviesen habitaciones con puertas, y no fue así.

This is not a two bedroom villa as advertised. It is not even a one bedroom. Instead it is a loft open to the living room below and a curtain through to another separated area so there is no privacy. The shower is so crusted with minerals from the water it does not really work. This is the first time I have ever been asked to clean the toilet and sinks of a property I have paid to stay in which is too much to ask.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2025Good points : Late check in was great, very nice place, cottage is very pretty, there is space, kitchen is convenient.
Bad points : Terrible bed, no TV or "apple tv" but if you don't have an Apple you have no TV, you have to take some time to clean the house, vacuum, clean the toilet, change bed linen, empty the trash bin and you even make your bed yourself when you arrive. I'd say there is lots of potential to have great time here, but when you drive a long time, want to go somewhere cozy and rest, but have to make the bed, can't watch TV, have a bad sleep because of this marshmallow bed and have to clean the house, you leave more tired than arriving.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2025Persönlicher Empfang und super organisierter check in. Da fühlt man sich als Gast wertgeschätzt. Wir haben uns in dem besonderen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Verblüffend wie gross es innen ist. Die Gegend lädt zum Wandern und zu Radtouren ein, sicher auch zu Kanutouren. Wir waren leider nur einen Tag dort, kommen aber gern mal wieder.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2025Wir sind glücklich, diese wunderschöne Hütte gebucht zu haben!! Sie ist sehr chic und ganz liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet. Die Betten sind bequem und das ganze Haus ist sehr, sehr sauber. Ein Parkplatz ist vorhanden und das Internet klappt prima! Sehr freundliche Gastgeber.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2025The outside of the accommodation and the surrounding houses are beautiful. The interior was nice and more spacious than we expected. It has a terrace, which was great for having breakfast outside. The area has some great places for walks. Having the sea so close is also very nice.
The house could have been cleaner in some spaces (mostly the bathroom). The bedroom is connected to the lower floor by a staircase, which doesn't have a door, so you are sleeping in a very open space. The washing machine didn't have washing detergent.

Reviewed Jun 10, 2025Great detached cabin on the property. Spacious place. Good kitchen, equipped for cooking meals (no dishwasher). Friendly and responsive hosts. Nice area and kids enjoyed the expansive lawn behind the cabin to play on. A really great base to check out the local area and also up to Skuleskogen NP. Toaster was a bonus!
Curtain used to separate the bedrooms upstairs. No blinds downstairs. Confusing check out instructions. We ended up spending time cleaning the place before we left as per a set of instructions in the entrance in the home, but it was not needed. Be sure to check on this with the hosts. Also check out time on booking.com says until 12. But host messages say 11am.

Reviewed Apr 23, 2025The accommodation was spacious and well equipped. You don’t feel cramped at all – there is plenty of space for a family of five. The only smaller room is the bathroom, which also contains a top-loading washing machine. However, we didn’t use it. The double bed was, in our opinion, quite soft – though that could be a plus for some! The accommodation offers a view of the sea on one side, and a charming garden pond on the other.
A downside for us was that the kitchen and some of the dishes weren’t very clean. It’s a pity that during this time of year (mid-April), there was no seating furniture available on the lovely terrace. Overall, we recommend this accommodation! 🙂

On the night, we saw the northern light from the house which was amazing and no need to go up north of Sweden I will visit her again if I have a chance.

There are lots of tracks to walk and country ski (no rental options) around and a great outdoor ice ring to skate. We had a warm welcome from the owner who was very helpful on any question we had. We strongly recommend !

It was the best night sleep we’ve had in the past 7 days , and we had stayed in some expensive hotels. As you have the house all to yourself without other guests’ noise from different directions. We’d always been a bit concerned about staying in private properties as we worried about checking in process. But you don’t need to worry about it for this property, as the owner lives close by, and the email instructions for checking in is very clear. The owners are very friendly while valuing your privacy. I would definitely come back again next time. Thank you, Jennie. We had a very good night sleep and recharged. Please also pass our best regards to your husband for ploughing the snow for us. ❤️

Would not mind spending a week there. Good for kids, big garden, not too far from local shop and very pleasant host. We highly recommend it.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2023The house we stayed at was a traditional and very comfortable one. The gardens are beautifully landscaped and well kept. The original wooden walls giving a cosy and warm feeling to it all. The best of all are the owners: friendly and accommodating. We requested for one hour extension in our stay (as I had an online lesson) and there was no problem at all. Thank you so much. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Me, personally, I could not possibly complain about anything. My husband and daughters, however, were a bit frustrated at one point that they could not get the TV to work. Either there was a problem with it or we were too (thick) tired to figure out how to get it going. Nothing major, though, and a simple manual / guide would solve the problem (maybe there is one and we didn't see it?). Nevertheless, later in the evening we all agreed that it was a blessing in disguise, as e just sat there chatting and enjoying each others company. :-) (so, actually, I'll say thank you for this little blip as well)

Reviewed Jul 21, 2023It was an individual house on the farm next to owner's house. The house was very clean with all needed facilities. The host was communicative and instructions were clear.
The top floor where beds are was bit warm and leaving windows open was tricky as putting mosquito net was not that simple. But it was a minor issue because night was colder and we didn't face much issues in sleeping. Typically we have not been doing the beds before checkout. That was bit different in this case as instructions were to arrange the beds as they were before. But that was a minor nuisance for us as we use cottage stays a lot. One issue was that none of the windows on ground floor had blinders.

The landlords / family are very nice, helpful and courteous. Friendly neighbors. We felt very comfortable there and relaxed well. We'd love to come back!
