The property was absolutely amazing. What a situation and view and what a lovely house, with everything you need and more, and so beautifully decorated. The sauna was an additional bonus and the property’s location is super close to everything.

Location and views

The location and property was exceptional - however there were a number of issues which we feel needed improvement. We arrived at the property at 10.30pm. The property had obviously been hastily prepared. The breakfast bar still had crumbs on it, the floor hadn't been cleaned. The fridge had been emptied but the shelves were not cleaned. The dishwasher had baby bottles and other items still inside. The property is obviously someone's home - however, it still contained all the items of a family living there. We were a party of 6 - we booked a 5 bedroom 3 bathroom property but the main bedroom ( the one pictured on the advertising material) had been locked and was not accessible, along with another of the bedrooms. So, only 3 bedrooms were available and there was now only one bedroom and two bathrooms on the upper floor and 1 bathroom and two bedrooms available on the lower floor. This required one of the bedrooms to climb 2 sets of stairs in the night to reach their bathroom. This would have been completely unnecessary had the 2 upper floor bedrooms been available for us to use as per the property description. There was only one small bath towel per person in the upper bedroom, no hand towel and crucially no bath mat, the bathroom floors were gloss tiled and lethal when wet. The lower floor rooms only had 1 small bath towel and a hand towel and there was no hand towel or soap in the downstairs toilet. The bathroom furniture contained nappies and used toothbrushes and there was endless amounts of part-used toiletries. Washing had been left in the washing machine ( which is where we found the tea towels!). Overall the property could easily warrant a 5 star rating , but it is let down badly by the property management. There were no instructions, no guest welcome information or information on how to lock the door , information on the recycling policy or which bins to use for what, despite asking us to empty and recycle all the bins on our departure.

Beautiful home in the quaint fishing village of Henningsvaer. Very modern and well furnished house. We loved waking up to the views which are simply jaw-dropping. Not to be missed!

Absolutely beautiful property, both the house and its surroundings. A great place for an extended weekend trip with family, and plenty of space for everyone to relax. Beautiful home that was extremely clean. Henningsvaer is a perfect spot to stay and explore Lofoten.

We had no idea that the coffee machine didn't work. Clearer communication from the host ahead of time about this would have been nice. However, once we reached out with our coffee concerns, the host promptly responded.

love the view. the whole house was very clean n nice. with 3 1/2 bathrooms is very good for 3-4 couple stay for few nights. wish we could stay 1 more night.

pillows...they need more pillows or if you stay there you needs bring your own pillows

Unbelievable views from the two decks. Lovely village 100 meters away. Quiet and super comfortable.

Spacious, clean. Ideal for big groups. 5bedrooms & 3bathroom. Perfect location to catch a glimpse of midnight sun. We had an awesome stay. Host was very attentive and helpful. Simply beautiful
