I liked the location and the outside appearance of the property is kept up.

Unfortunately I stayed in room #103 which has mold. Every time I entered the room, I would have a headache and it would go away after leaving the room. Room# 103 needs major renovation and the mold removed from around the window which appears to be from water damage.

Lovely quiet retreat tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in Mandeville . Roo.s were large, clean and bathroom the same.well kept and beautiful grounds. Excellent for small or medium sized events. Breakfast was always outstanding.

Location wise it is a few minutes out of town. Not a deal breaker just be aware.

Staff very accommodating, attentive and courteous. They deserve 5 stars! Location is central so easy to get around etc. very safe so no huge worries going and coming.

The balcony door didn’t close completely and it was a struggle to open so I didn’t even bother. It’s as if it had to be lifted. So some maintenance needs to be done there. The balcony chairs were also not the most comfortable so even if…wouldn’t have been the best experience.

Breakfast choice could be better. Tasted good but more variety needed. We were in room 207. Room could do with a little tlc [under the window and also the bed light on the left needs to be fixed]. Also, the water pressure in the bathroom could be improved. Overall, we would visit again.

The breakfast staff and service were good. The breakfast portion was very small, child size meal. Compliments to the chef and staff. Owner needs to provide full size meals for adults. The location is very good, convenient and safe.

Convenient. Minutes from Mandeville town centre. Rooms were clean and a generous size. Staff were amazingly helpful (not sure if I'm allowed to name names. haha) which ended up in us having a network of taxi's they use/refer.

Bed mattresses were too tough. 😔

The breakfast was very good. The food was fresh and hot. The could be more variety in terms of the food but what was provided was quite good. The presentation was more than expected. Yanique was exceptional, She was very helpful and pleasant.

Lovely location of a beautiful character period house with only a few rooms which made it “private”. Staff were friendly on arrival.

We arrived Friday at the allotted time to check in at the same time a number of other vehicles were arriving with people for a private event in the main area of the house. In enquiring about using the garden and pool we were informed they would be staying indoors and we were free to use the pool. While this sounded good it didn’t turn out to be the case. The people didn’t stay inside and we were unable to use the pool during their party as children were running around in the garden and it felt as if we were encroaching on their party. The music they played was loud and we felt confined to our room. At check in we were asked our breakfast choices only to be told the following morning that they didn’t have eggs ! Saturday we went out for the morning and returned to find the pool was being rented out to a family for private use ! So again we couldn’t use it. Our room could do with an update of decor and mould treatment.

The location is peaceful. The bathroom was clean and fully stocked with toiletries. Manager in prompt in responding to need. Their lost and found policy is commendable. Bed was comfortable

No phones in rooms. To reach the front desk or a member of staff you have to walk them down. The front desk and reception area was not welcoming. The signage of the facility was poor. To find the facility was also difficult. I was told no staff is there at night.

Breakfast was amazing. Room was extremely clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

JamGolia was a quiet and lovely place, the environment from walking in had a comforting hold, I immediately felt at home, the place inside and out was just amazing in designs, layout, and location and I loved my room.

Location felt safe. Breakfast was tasty and authentic. Rooms clean. Staff professional and responsive to our needs. Access to amenities available. Staff knowledgeable about area and will have recommendations on where to buy things.

Internet spotty. Mosquitos plenty and should look into using citronella oil to deter mosquitos and do some find of abatement.

The rooms were clean and well maintained. Also, I really liked the fact that the staff were very accommodating to my family's dietary restrictions.

I wished the pool was in operation at the time of our visit.

Comfortable no hassle experience

The property was formerly a home and still has the charm and warmth of a home. Bathroom was updated and modernized. Area was somewhat walkable though the roads have a lot of pot holes. The landscaping and grounds have the feeling of old English aristocracy. Home had Netflix, Wifi and included breakfast - a huge plus in an area that was mainly residential with no food close by. The server and sometimes cook, Yanique was exemplary in every way. She made breakfast to our liking, helped to fix our safe, even stayed late and prepared a quick meal for us.

Home needed repairs but nothing that would keep us from coming back a second time. We would recommend coffee or tea in the room.

The dining hall was nice. The food was excellent. To make it better would have been to turn on the air conditioner in the dining area. I liked having Netflix.

The registration process was ineffective. Emails sent to confirm had links that did not work. The same information was provided multiple times. Did not realize from the listing that there was no elevator.

Location and security.

We were told housekeeping is scheduled every other day, however 2 days past where the room was not cleaned.

Lots of little things needed then it will be a good 3 star hotel and the pool needs cleaning,air dryer needed to be available newer sun lounges with cushions

The breakfast selection needs to be abit more cosmopolitan. Fruit should be added to the menu. Would also be nice to have honey and lemon available at breakfast for the hot drinks.

This was my 3rd stay. This Is a BEAUTIFUL Building with great surroundings. Love the room size & location, l RATED 10 the FIRST VISIT because the staff especially Dextoy & Sanya (no longer staff) made so much effort to be NICE & welcoming they smiled and made us feel they were actually happy to help and be of good service. This B&B has been renamed & under new management. This time we felt as if we were TOLERATED! Sad really, there was a wedding on the day we checked in...we weren't notified or even offered an apology for the TERRIBLE NOISE we had to endure for hours until the wee hrs of the morning whilst the smell of cannabis smoking floated throught the window and permeated our room. NON SMOKERS we are. We didn't sleep that 1st night sadly 😪 😔 after a long drive down from Kingston. No reception staff was on hand when we arrived and after waiting a while, l had to go looking for someone to check us in Then we were told an email was sent a day before to pre check in.. sadly, emails have a way to land where they may. Could be due to interrupted wifi..can't say. Took another 27 mins filling in data on my phone, whilst headachy and tired before we were finally able to go to our room. THANK YOU (female manager, apologies for forgetting your name)FOR LIFTING OUR HEAVY SUITCASES up the stairs.. NO MALE ASSISTANT . We had a NICE COOKED BREAKFAST 😋, hot beverage was available. Bed was very comfortable. THANK YOU. My husband had to get a spanner and fix a shower that did not work whilst l was fully saturated with shower Gel. MAY I KINDLY REQUEST YOU PLEASE DO BETTER, WITH HOW YOU RECEIVE GUESTS. Not everyone reacts well to a Blank stare or non smiling face. Please DO BETTER . I returned because the first 2 visits were GREAT! This trip was disappointing sadly, not because of the facilities or the hiccups including the flooding from a leaky a/c. (Thanks for the towel to soak up the water.

attractive exterior and easy to find.

once checked in it did go downhill. we were placed at the end of the corridor next to the toilets. so this was quite loud throughout the night. cars beeping to be let in and then loud banging early morning. breakfast we were separated from the rest of the guests and breakfast itself was very basic. around 10.30/11pm guests were coming and going, shouting in the lobby and being quite disrespectful to other guests which should be managed by the hotel. the shower was cold even on hot and bed hard. we would have stayed elsewhere if it were not for ease of location and luckily only one night.

The food was ok. They have very good laundry service and the rooms are comfortable, spacious and good lighting.

We had let them know a day in advanced our dinner selections, then the next day without any notice the said the cook went home and no meals would be served. They do not want to give you a glass of water with your breakfast, lunch or dinner. They want you to pay instead for their over priced bottle of water.
