Nichts. Allenfalls war die Hintergrundmusik beim Frühstücken etwas laut.

The location is lovely.

Over powering fragrance in the accommodation which I assume was covering the smell of damp. The shower was cold.

Lovely scenery and food was lovely, however we had young child and a pram and our room was upstairs and had to carry pram up the stairs along with all our belongings, also reception was far away from our room which was difficult to carry as we went back on ourselves walking from carpark!

The views are absolutely gorgeous and the room was spotless clean , the smell hits you the second you open the door, beautiful

The shower is barely luke warm

2nd time we stayed loved the place and location, thought the food service in the restaurant had dropped its standards a bit from last visit, also service was very slow, maybe due to a large wedding party going on.

Name and heading is very misleading. Was under the presumption that a castle would form part of the experience. This is not a hotel, nor is it a "castle" it is a golf club with a couple of apartments on the property which forms part of an derelict abandoned closed castle, albeit a beautiful one. Reception is the golf club, there are no traditional hotel rooms.. Breakfast was €18 and a bad buffet. Over cooked and basic. Said we would pay on checkout, card machine pushed in our face second we finished. They started to clear the food, had to ask for items. All rooms 10min walk away from reception and breakfast, through gardens and carpark..

Excellent location and setting and convenience to a number of Ancient Sites suck as Newgrange Hill of Tara and so much more including Dublin and it’s Airport. Couldn’t recommend it enough. And what a unique Nicklaus Championship Golf Course, KC HAS IT ALL !!

I didn't realise it was going to be a shared house setup.

The lodges are positioned within the most beautiful grounds. The room was exceptionally clean with good amenities. Breakfast buffet in the morning with great views. Staff were kind and helpful.

The whole experience was wonderful, the villa was so lovely and beautifully clean, the breakfast was superb, the surroundings were stunning and all the staff were very nice, would 100% recommend and will definitely visit again 😀

Very nice and comfortable. We stayed in Rose cottage and both rooms are nicely decorated. The castle view is gorgeous.

Zaten in de Rose Cottage en voor ons was dit qua indeling ideaal met ons reisgezelschap. In de avond ook lekker gegeten in het restaurant . Mooie locatie

Great surroundings and comfortable room, nice shower. breakfast and evening meals were good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The accommodation (room) is detached from the dining/bar facilities. It's a (short) walk to the main pavilion. It doesn't give you the feeling of being in a hotel, which i would have preferred. No big deal, but I wasn't aware of this when I booked.

False advertising as a castle when you got there it was not accessible, location wasn't great and taxi driver ripped us off to go 8 mins down the road into kilmessin. Wouldn't recommend

The remote setup in the former Castle´s garden (now golf course) made the place very quiet and perfect for a good sleep. The room size was generous and the landscape around is iconic. Also the restaurant (The Killn) offered a nice variety of freshly made food

The lodges are about 200m walk from the reception and bar. But it is a nice walk through the walled garden.

We were very delayed flying with Aer Lingus (Grrr) and arrived around 9 hours late at gone 11pm. The lady had made delicious sandwiches and provided us with some wine to get over the stress of the delayed flight. A helpful friendly gentleman guided us to our rooms at a very late time so thanks to him. The rooms are fabulous - very large and very clean. A lovely quiet location but not far from places to visit. Breakfast was fabulous with loads of choice. Such a shame we were late as we missed an evening meal which is the Airlines fault (not bitter at all!;-) You made an awful travel experience much less stressful - Many thanks

The breakfast was very good. The room we stayed was modern, clean and comfortable. Briefly it was a good stay at a very nice location.

We wanted to check in a little earlier and asked if we could do this if there was already availability at the room we would be staying. The room was already available, however we were asked to pay an early check in fee. Just beacuse of this, I will not book at this property once again, even the stay was good.

Spacious room, clean and comfortable beds. Good for families with kids as there is a kitchenette downstairs to heat up some food and a proper table in the room to sit down. The grounds are stunning, very nice walkway through the woods. There is ample parking, also ev charging available. Food at the hotel restaurant was also nice. Overall good value for money.

There was no refrigerator in the room. The bathroom seemed to be missing some ventilation which made the room a little damp.

Wonderful staff. Beautiful grounds. Great food. Very comfortable accommodation.
