L'alloggio è bellissimo, con stanze nuove, spaziose e confortevoli, pulitissime e dotate di tutto il necessario. Il proprietario è inoltre una persona molto gentile. Consiglio assolutamente questo alloggio se passate per Diskit!

Our stay at Traveller Nest was a truly wonderful experience. From the very beginning, we felt incredibly welcome by the family living downstairs. They are genuinely kind, warm and helpful people, always ready to make everything easier for their guests. Their son speaks perfect English, which made communication especially easy and comfortable for us. We absolutely loved the room: very clean, beautiful, comfortable and carefully maintained. Everything looked exactly like the photos, if not even better in person. The whole room also smelled amazing — I honestly wish I could have the same air freshener in my own home! The place is also incredibly peaceful. We hardly heard any noise at all during our stay; in fact, the only “noise” we remember was a cow walking past, which actually made the experience feel even more charming and authentic. We felt very comfortable and happy throughout our stay. What really stands out is the kindness of the family, the cleanliness, the comfort of the room and the peaceful atmosphere. We would definitely recommend Traveller Nest to anyone looking for a clean, cozy and quiet place with wonderful hosts who truly make you feel at home.

Good hospitality with breakfast and dinner, big and clean room, in a walking distance from the main road where you can find restaurants, bus stop and taxi office. You can try your laundry on the roof. They have several rooms, so it was nice to meet other travellers in the common area.

La comodidad del colchón y el agua caliente. Super limpio, cerca de todo. El personal atento y las instalaciones y limpieza del pequeño Hotel inmejorables.

Where to start... The place is really beautiful, all details taken care of. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfy. Also with big windows and lot of sunlight. The property is very nice, with lots of plants, and very well maintained. And the guys... The staff is really friendly and the host is the best, he would move mountains to help you. He will give you great advice to visit the area too. The cherry on the cake? Spain was playing the worldcup semifinals when I stayed there, and he arranged a TV with the official streaming account so I wouldn't miss the game. Thank you very much!

I really loved the way how owner was, he was too good. As far as the stay there is no doubt it was fantastic room with a fab view.. Even the breakfast was good, would really love to be back..

Polite and friendly staff. Excellent service. Great food. They have parking facility. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Floor cushion and back cushion is provided instead of chair. The rooms are carpetted. Bathroom slipper is provided. Hot water is available always since they have solar heater. We took three rooms for the six of us and all of us are Happy about Travellers Nest. We recommend this place in Diskit.

The rooms did not have a wardrobe or hangers. Even the bathroom didn't have any clothes hanger. Our feedback is taken and the manager said they will fix it soon. We had to keep our shoes outside the hallway.

The owner was too rude and when we reached out the property they said room is not available . And we are shifting you to another property. And the property they were suggesting that was not upto mark and not hygenic and total isolated.no one is there at the property not a single guest

They should have mentioned on the site (OTA) that the ground floor is under renovation and the kitchen is under renovation too and hence there won’t be any food. Not knowing that beforehand was disappointing. The owner and his brothers are excellent and once it’s all ready it would be an excellent place to stay in Diskit area

Room was spacious, beautiful, clean, and comfortable Due to renovation there was no option for breakfast or dinner, but it did not bother me, as just around the corner was another hotel with a buffee where I could eat. Electricity was available onlly until 11pm, and from 6-8am which was enough to charge my devices and use internet. Bathroom had an "interesting" layout, but everything worked well I recommend this accommodation

It is not that I disliked. The staff told me that kitchen is under renovation. I am sure once it is completed this property will attract more tourists.

The property is exceptionally good, especially if you are travelling in a group. It's super cosy. The owner is a friendly and courteous man.

The room was the cleanest i have been to in Ladakh. The host was really generous to us and recommended great itinerary ideas. The conversations with the host were great and comfortable throughout our stay. The room had all that was needed surprisingly considering the low end price we paid. If you are planning to visit Nubra valley, this accommodation in Diskit is highly recommended.

I spent five days in Diskit and had a truly delightful stay. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with all essential amenities, offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. Ansaar, the host, is warm, generous, and exceptionally gracious. He even went out of his way to offer me a ride to the Diskit bus stop. The home-cooked meals were simply exquisite. Charming little paths nearby lead to the sand dunes and the river, each about a 30-minute walk — perfect for those who enjoy a quiet stroll amidst nature. In sum, I wholeheartedly recommend Travellers Nest to anyone seeking a comfortable, peaceful, and memorable experience in the Diskit-Hundar region. A gentle request to fellow travellers: 1. Please refrain from bargaining with the hosts. They work tirelessly to provide us with a wonderful experience, often in the face of limited resources. Let us honour their efforts with fairness and gratitude. 2. Kindly do not lament the absence of urban conveniences or modern infrastructure. This is a village — serene, unspoiled, and extraordinary in its own right. While we are here, let us cherish what is present, rather than focus on what is not. Beyond financial support, the greatest gift we can offer the locals is our appreciation and respect.

Perfect stay with big spacious clean room and amazing hospitality

The rooms are spacious, clean and staff is very supportive and helpful. One night we didn't order any food till late night and owner was kind enough to cook and serve us food even when half the town was closed. Toilets are clean and well maintained. Separate eating area is available. Terrace is open for guests to sit and enjoy night sky.

No fans in the room. The weather gets quite hot and arid in summers and I would request owners to include fans in all rooms. Otherwise staying in room becomes very uncomfortable.

I felt unsafe to walk outside—there were a lot of loose dogs roaming about. The bathroom drainage system emitted a sewer odor which could easily be fixed with A U-shaped pipe. Our room window looked down an area of people living in tents and buildings in disrepair. Trash and plastic were occasionally burnt outside.

Short walk from bus stand & town centre. Welcoming hosts. Very clean,comfortable with good facilities.Good coffee. A most relaxing enjoyable stay. I recommend it.

Ultra soft mattress, just couldn't sleep the whole night. Flies entering the room, very annoying, i hate this. Please place a bench outside to sit while removing the shoes. Please do not forget to keep the soap or promptly bring one when asked for. The property is right on the sub main road and vehicles with lots noise kept passing by in late at night.

Very sweet property privately owned by seeet family. The food was delicious. Vibes are very nice. Room very comfy and the bed is soft. All was very nice. We liked everything.

The room is comfortable, simple but nicely decorated. One room has big windows on two sides, the view is very enjoyable. Enough sockets near the bed. The staff are very kind. The dinner is so awesome!
