Absolutely noting everything was amazing Family run business Lovely people I came with autistic children they loved everything about here the lake was a big hit we sat there for the whole day while kids played and enjoyed the scenery 5 min drive to town for food snd shops Definitely coming back

Host Philomena couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful making us a pot of tea and giving us a lift to Crover house for a wedding Room was spotless & cooked breakfast fabulous. Excellent value for money

Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin die uns mit Ratv und Tat zur Seite stand. Gleich beim Eintreffen haben wir einen Tee/Kaffee angeboten bekommen. Ausstattung des Zimmers und des Badezimmers war toll. Wir hatten ein wunderbares Frühstück und eine tolle und ruhige Nacht. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen

A wonderful welcoming host, spotlessly clean and an excellent breakfast. We also found it very easy to organise a taxi into Ballyjamesduff.

TV in the rooms would be a nice bonus but otherwise everything was perfect.

On arrival we we greeted by Philomena,,who was such a lovely lady,our room was perfect and we were served a delicious breakfast the next morning

The beds were extremely uncomfortable, toilet was not bolted to the ground of the bathroom properly (wobbly when sat on), couldn't work the shower. No sign on door to tell you where the bathroom was. Full breakfast was a rasher sausage and egg. No beans, tomato, hash brown or pudding. No TV in room.

We had a wonderful night in hollywell lodge. A very short drive to crover house. Philomena was a fantastic host and breakfast was absolutely delicious. I would recommend hollywell lodge to anyone. Thanks again!

From the moment we arrived,Philomena welcomed us at the door.She was so warm and pleasant and made us tea/buns while we checked in.My mother has poor mobility issues and she insured that we got a downstairs bedroom beside the bathroom.She also brought us by taxi to our wedding venue that evening and we experienced the most amazing breakfast the following morning after spending the night in such comfy beds.Honestly we had such an amazing stay and will definitely be recommending this place to others.

Wonderful stay at Holywell Lodge. Our host drove us into the city and was incredibly attentive while still giving us our space, which we really appreciated. She even helped arrange a taxi for us to get to Dublin. She and her family were so sweet, and the food was great.

No mention of safer bathroom on booking .com arrival was chaotic.Hist not available and person did not not know number or allocation of rooms . It resulted up in two parties changing rooms twice. This is not. Difficulties allocating three rooms out of four. Three bathroom available but two Paris shared a bathroom for no apparent reason. No door on one room. Very disorganised

Smooth check-in, lovely views, and a wonderful atmosphere in the place, Philomena was a brilliant and accommodating host. We were attending a wedding nearby in Crover House and she made it so easy to get there and back. A very comfortable bed, and a really nice ensuite bathroom in our room. Our plans changed last minute on our third day meaning we needed to leave one night early, and she was incredibly kind about it. Highly recommended.

The place is a lovely home. Very accomodation and just genuinely kind people. Breakfast was amazing. Also attentive to our needs. Would book here again next time I’m in Cavan.

Philomena's was a home away from home, the location was fantastic as we were attending a wedding in Crover. We were welcomed in and made comfortable the minute we landed, it was a lovely homely setting and so relaxed and my husband and I enjoyed the company of Philomena and the other guests at breakfast, her homemade brown bread was just incredible too, we will definitely stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay at this lovely B&B! Philomena and Fergus were amazing hosts – so welcoming and kind. The house is beautifully decorated and very cosy, perfect for relaxing after a day out. The full Irish breakfast was delicious! We’d definitely love to stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Philomena and her husband were so welcoming going above and beyond for us,lovely homely feel to the b&b.room had everything I wanted extra pillows and blankets,water and it was so clean.

For me the location wasn’t great because we don’t drive and had to get a taxi,but I’d still stay here again

Booked to fish the lough adjacent to the lodge. Owners can't do enough to help you. We intend making it a yearly booking from no on.

We had a wonderful stay at Holywell Lodge with the best hosts Fergus and Philomena. Gorgeous area, just a few minutes walk down to a very large lake where you can rent boats. Absolutely beautiful scenery. Comfortable and spacious room with a lovely ensuite. Large sitting room area. Great breakfast. Fergus and Philomena could not do enough for us, we thoroughly enjoyed our unfortunately short stay. Many thanks.

Lovely situation near Lough Sheelin. Great set up for fishing with hire of boats and equipment with easy walk to Lough. Packed lunch can be provided. Philomena and Angus were lovely and social lounge in evening for relaxation and chat.

Philomena was a lovely host, she honestly could not do more for us! We were attending a wedding in the Crover House Hotel which is just 4 minutes drive from the B&B so it was perfect! As it was a wedding we had a few drinks (as you do) but the beautiful Irish fry-up the next morning got us back on track! Ill definately stay there again if im in the area!!!
