Spectacular property and lovely staff. Feel like a breath of fresh air in the middle of the city. Very conveniently placed and easy to get around from there. The service was top notch, as was the breakfast.

It was perfect!

On the plus side, the location is convenient and the place has a cute traditional charm with plenty of greenery. The food is excellent.

I can’t agree more with the 1-star reviews, especially one written 7 years ago. It’s amusing (or maybe not so much) that everything in this seven-year-old negative review is entirely relevant today (cleanliness, deferred maintenance of the room, flying insects in the room, pool with damaged tiles which creates a risk, etc.). The photos here speak for themselves: dirty toilet with crocked lid, old upholstery which need replacement, stained curtains and drapes, broken curtains' rings, reading light and accent light not working, damaged walls, dirty spots in the ceiling. The mattress and pillows are quite hard and very uncomfortable; we didn’t get a restful night. Plus the light flooding from the bathroom is making it very difficult to sleep if you are used to sleep in a dark room. When I brought these issues to the front desk manager, she recommended to write a complaint!! The staff is kind and caring but the front desk manager needs to develop customer service skills. Overall, the rate charged is excessive for the quality offered. I would recommend to pass and to book elsewhere (across the street where there are two better and cheaper hotels).

Wat een prachtig hotel. Vriendelijk personeel. We sliepen in een executive room, een mooie ruime kamer met uitzicht op het zwembad. Lekker ontbijt à la Carré. Restaurant in hotel is zeker aan te raden. Ook de massage was een zalig moment! Denk!

Wunderschöne Oase, man fühlt sich hier auf Anhieb wohl. Ruhige und entspannte Atmosphäre, ein schönes altes Haus inmitten des Großstadttrubels. Kann ich auf jeden Fall wärmstens empfehlen. Perfekt zum Runterkommen nach dem Sightseeing.

Petit havre de paix au milieu des gratte-ciels de Bangkok. 21 très belles chambres, jardin luxuriant, belle piscine, spa avec massages Thai au top, très bon restaurant. Tout est très propre, joliment décoré. Le luxe authentique a un prix assez raisonnable. Mention spéciale pour le personnel, qui est très attentionné et aidant. Le quartier n'est pas le plus interessant, pas grande chose à faire a part un grand magasin de luxe, des roof tops et des restaurants, mais l'hôtel est tout proche d'une station de bateau bus et pas loin du BTS Skytrain. En moins de 30 minutes on est partout a Bangkok. Je recommande à 100%

The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful throughout our stay. Our beautiful studio was large with plenty of amenities. We had the complementary breakfast twice and it was really good. We felt it was an unique and flawless experience.

We knew beforehand but the location is a little hard to get to. The sidewalk is bumpy a long way to the train and taxi get stuck in traffic easily as the road is narrow.

Najbardziej niesamowity hotel, w jakim byłam. Centrum hałaśliwego miasta, a tu oaza! Cisza, spokój, piękny teren porośnięty tropikalną roślinnością, zadbany, starannie i przemyślanie urządzony. Można się tu dosłownie czuć jak w raju. Piękny kamienny basen z mozaikami, w cieniu olbrzymich drzew. Pokój przestronny, pięknie urządzony, zaskakująca przepiękna łazienka. Czysto. Wszędzie zapach werbeny i delikatnego kadzidła. No i przepyszne jedzenie. Nie mam słów, aby wyrazić swój zachwyt. Polecam z całą odpowiedzialnością!

The staff were eager to help with my questions re directions, options etc. Great breakfast. I was on my own and felt safe and welcomed. The pool was a welcome diversion to a busy day. Very convenient location taking a boat.

The hotel is located at the end of Sukhumvit Soi 1. Outside the hotel is the hustle and bustle of Bangkok with street vendors etc., but inside is a peaceful garden and a building that is tastefully renovated. Lots of greenery within the grounds.

The boats passing the canal behind the hotel were a bit noisy during the day - it wasn't much of a problem for me.

Breakfast was great. I dislike traditional resorts and large hotels that have no ambience or soul. This place had them in spades. The history of the place was so interesting. The pool was amazing. The gardens were wonderful. everything ,..

Honestly...nothing. Maybe the milk was a bit weird and made coffee taste unusual. Tasted like evaporated milk or long life milk. The pool bleached my swimmers so that when I pulled them out in Switzerland to have a swim they'd transformed from blue to white! But I loved the salt water. So refreshing.

The hotel is amazing, very beautiful and traditional in style. The staff are beyond helpful and nice.

All the main areas in the room and bathroom were clean but the rooms need good dusting all over. The hotel was in a good and vibrant location but a bit far from the main attractions.

A wonderful slice of old Bangkok. Calm and serene, the environment was just what we needed to come back to after a day in steamy Bangkok. Palatial room that was exceptionally clean with gorgeous touches throughout. Breakfast was high quality and the staff were super helpful. Highly recommended.

this was a beautiful, comfortable stay for our honeymoon! The villa is on a beautiful property covered with plants and filled with art and interesting architecture. Breakfast was amazing with delicious fresh fruits and coffee, and made to order food with many thai and western options. Room was gorgeous, clean and comfortable and pool was great too. highly recommend!

A real jewel of a hotel. Absolutely loved the boutiqueyness, the staff went above and beyond, dinner was great and the breakfast was awesome. So many lovely touches in our room as well.

What a beautiful jungle getaway in the middle of the city. Gorgeous property and villa, nice balcony and huge room, excellent breakfast, incredibly friendly and professional staff, great a/c! Owner David introduced himself and was very kind. Landcaper does a phenomenal job. Looking forward to returning asap.

This hotel is in a great location and the moment you step inside, it feels like you’ve entered a completely different world - lush, green, and incredibly peaceful, a true escape from the chaos of Bangkok. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and the whole place feels like a hidden gem. I also loved the room’s design and style. We only stayed for one night, but we would definitely choose to stay here again without hesitation.

Soweit gibts nichts zu bemängeln. Aufpassen sollte man, wenn man Richtung Sukhumvit Soi 11 geht, dort gibts viele Betrugsmaschen wie z.b. Gesundheit und Abnehmen.

We loved our stay

Das Personal war echt supee. Das Hotel ist wirklich eine Oase in dieser Umgebung. Mit vielen Bäumen und Pflanzen. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön eingerichtet.

La maison est très jolie, un peu dans son jus mais ça fait tout le charme. La piscine est un vrai plus cf la chaleur. C’est un havre de paix dans cette ville immense. On y à très bien dinné aussi. Nous avons aussi profité d’un super massage. Personnel adorable.

Un peu loin du quartier historique donc beaucoup de temps passé en transport

This hotel is like a sanctuary in Bangkok, you almost forget that you are in the city. The pool was so peaceful. Breakfast was wonderful and our room was so comfortable.

The location was absolutely perfect. Staff was welcoming and friendly. The property was absolutely stunning and breakfast was delicious!!! Will be staying here again!!

Ariyasomvilla lived up to its reputation as a calm oasis in the midst of bustling Bangkok. We only stayed a couple of nights on our way out, and will stay another on our way back, but the staff were wonderful, the owner full of bonhomie, and the on-site restaurant Na r Aroon is fantastic. Book well ahead - this is a boutique hotel, with just a couple of dozen rooms in an authentic Thai residence, with all the charm of a bygone era. And a gorgeous pool.

It is like a little oasis of calm in the middle of the madness of Bangkok. Great location, really quiet. The property is beautiful and the veggie / vegan food is wonderful and delicious. We only stayed the one night while heading back to the UK after an amazing holiday, so it was a real high to leave on. Room was huge, big bathroom, really cosy bed.

Our room was supremely comfortable with plush bedding and thoughtful touches. The bath products were thoughtfully curated and smelled fantastic, adding a luxurious, homely touch to our stay. The meditation room is a serene highlight; I only wish we’d received more information about the scheduled sessions, as there were two we could have joined. The food was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. When we had to change plans because of the situation in Iran and extend our stay instead of traveling to Dubai, Booking.com and the hotel were incredibly gracious and accommodating, making the transition seamless and stress-free. For anyone seeking a peaceful, characterful retreat with excellent food and attentive service, Arysomavilla is a must—definitely 5+ stars.
