The property was in great condition, clean and offered washer and dryer and kitchen facilities.

The location was very iinconvenient to the RBYC after the Newport to Bermuda Race which is due to lack of research. I booked for 3 nights but the travel logistics to and from the RBYC requiring walking to bus stop, taking a bus to the Ferry dock, ferry to Hamilton and back again. The first night cab fare was $55. Although I paid cash for 3 nights, I only stayed there 1 night. I tried to cancel the 3rd night, but the owners refused.

Absolutely lovely cottage in Sandy Parish on the west side of Bermuda. This cottage was so nice and exceeded my expectations! The owners are very nice and communicated with me several times before I arrived, including setting up a taxi ride from the airport. If you are looking for a quiet comfortable place to stay, away from the crowds, then this is the place! The cottage is in a residential neighborhood close to Fort Scaur, a definite must see with great views, and also the popular railway walking trail. It’s about 45 minutes from Hamilton and a short 10-minute drive to the Dockyards. There is a bus stop just a short walking distance (I used the bus stops at Scaur Lane) and the bus system on Bermuda is fantastic (get a bus pass or book of tokens if you are staying for more than a few days). The stops are color coded, BLUE is AWAY from Hamilton, RED/ORANGE is TO Hamilton. You do have to flag the bus down, though, otherwise it may pass you up! If you decide to go grocery shopping there is a Maxi Mart close by (about a 10 minute bus ride on the #7 or #8 Line) but I preferred the Modern Mart in Paget Parish for better price’s & selection. If you want something more upscale, there is Miles market in Hamilton, which is a mini Whole Foods with maxi prices! If you are a bread snob, then l’Artisan Boulangerie in Hamilton will fill your needs. The cottage had the following appliances: Microwave, Gas Range, Toaster, Toaster Oven, Electric Tea Kettle, Coffee Maker, Washer & Dryer, Clothes Iron & Ironing Board.

Chinna had everything I needed for my stay. It is a 5 minute walk to the bus stop, which is convenient for getting to the Royal Dockyard and Hamilton. The hosts were amazing. Dee and Robbie are a lovely couple, always willing to help sort out anything you need. I felt I left as a friend not just a guest, I really enjoyed their hospitality.

Nothing about the property, it was just what I needed.

Deardra and Robby were excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful. The property was immaculate just perfect for our needs, we are already thinking about a return trip next year

This property is an absolute gem of a place! The hosts are an incredibly sweet natured couple with warm, caring personalities. Extremely helpful and very informative. The property itself, firstly it is so incredibly clean. Fully equipped, well laid out and with everything you need to feel like you are ‘at home’ while away from home! So many thoughtful additions too including complimentary water, snacks, tea, coffee, toiletries, games etc. Many new furnishings, giving a luxury feel. The outside space is very nice with seating and umbrella. The property is only a few minutes away from the bus stops in both directions for each transportation. Overall, great hosts, great accommodation and an incredible price….. if you get the chance to book this cottage, do it because you will not be disappointed. Total paradise, thank you!!!

I was not aware that breakfast was included? Therefore your example question regard how did I like the breakfast was not applicable. I was most thankful for being able to use my Bermuda dollars (from when I lived and worked there). to pay the rent..

There was nothing that I didn't like ; but guests who would not be as familiar with Bermuda nor have friends to "taxi" them near/to your location may find it more difficult than I did...

Everything from the property to the location to the hosts was just superb. I was a little hesitant about the distance from the airport considering my early morning flight but everything worked out and it was actually worth it. It really did feel like paradise in paradise with the peaceful lush surroundings and no annoying dogs barking their heads off or noisy neighbours like other Caribbean islands, only the natural chorus of nocturnal tree frogs to be heard. De a dra and Robbie were absolute sweeties and were there on hand if you needed them and were there on my arrival and who let me settle first before showing me the property and the ins and outs in more detail. The property itself was very easy to find and was very comfortable clean bright airy and spacious and had all the mod cons you would expect with everything working, towels, toiletries and complimentary water on arrival along with tea and coffees. The property also had a lovely private outdoor area with furniture and shade. Having travelled the whole of the island i found the location of this property to be in one of the most beautiful jaw dropping areas of Bermuda, far enough away from all the crowds but close enough to public transport which was a 5 minute walk to the bus stops either way, with nice friendly locals saying hello along the way. Shops were a good fifteen minute walk. I really cannot emphasise just how happy i was in, and with ,this property and the hosts and felt very privileged to have been able to stay here for such a good price and could of and wanted to stay longer. I really wish the lovely couple who will be looking after you such luck in their future endeavours and thank them both from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to stay at their lovely residence. You would find it very difficult to find anything like this in Bermuda ,let alone for this price so if your lucky enough to obtain availability grab this place if you can and you wont be disappointed.
