We were 2 senior citizens ladies and friends for 50 years.

the friendlies of the staff , the rooms and the stunning view of Tramore bay The tasty fruit scones and green tea serverd in the elegant lobby overlooking the garden

Comfortable hotel, friendly staff, very clean. However it's on a main road so there is constant traffic noise, breakfast is buffet, good selection but lukewarm at best. Bedrooms small for a 4 star rating

The staff were lovely, the room was immaculate my kids loved the bunk beds, there was a smart TV that we could sign into which was very handy, the food was beautiful and very generous portions for the kids which I appreciated, and to top it all off they actually had put a bag of sweets for each of my four kids in our room which made my kids feel extra special, I have payed the same price for useless air BnBs that were run down and dangerous, the majesticwas great value and must treat their staff right because the whole place has a great vibe everyone is happy and helpful.

No leisure facilities on site and there was a fee to use pool across the road

I had better breakfast in 2 and 3 star hotels. Not many options, juice from concentrated was a heartburn straightaway. Not many options of cereal, no fruits, huge room but people squeezed on top of each other on the small tables, no selection of cheese/ham etc. Very poor.

Shower has no pressure. It took hours to have a shower. Room had no space to circulate with a family of 4. I had to go to the reception during the night, there was nobody there, until I heard a voice from the dark corner. Very Bizarre. No spoons in the room to mix the coffee if you put sugar on it. Few details that a 4* missed a lot.

The room was stifling hot but of course it was during the hot summer. Maybe some air conditioning or even a fan would have helped

Clean room and comfortable bed.

Food was poor, breakfast not tasty and the pastries were not put out until very late, about 45minutes after we arrived in the breakfast room and were on our way out. The plates and bowl were not removed from the table when we had finished with them, which is the norm. It was very quiet in the hotel as it was midweek and there were staff around so this was surprising.

I like the atmosphere in the hotel.relaxing music-specially in the front room with cosy chairs.

Noise from shutting door by cleaners every 1-2 mins between 3 and 5 pm on Saturday.

Myself and my mam stayed for two nights..I asked for prosecco and 7 up and a birthday plate for the room as a surprise for my mam for her birthday.I took a video as we were entering the room..she was blown away..she cried happy tears..ha..the room was fab and the views from the balcony..staff were amazing..so friendly and helpful..and oh my god the food was absolutely amazing.. we have booked in again for the same time next year and we are bringing two more people with us..we cannot wait. Thank up again for everything.❤️

A false alarm fire alarm went off and woke my niece, can't be helped I suppose.

Spotless clean, lovely staff on check in , good breakfast and lovely area for drinks.

No air conditioning. Our upgraded room was so small the bathroom door touched the toilet. Couldn't turn in shower it was so small. Doors only opened so far and had to get in sideways. Husband couldn't fit in comfortably. Fan provided was so loud , it sounded like the motor was going. Couldn't sleep with or without it. Incredibly uncomfortable night. Not asked about stay on check out, and had to endure a very uncomfortable interaction at the reception between staff and a customer over a room charge. Aired my grievances privately via messaging iption on booking.com. Hotel reached out first, but when I shared my experience they became passive, dismissive and I didn't feel heard or cared about. The room was actually an upgrade. It was so small, and uncomfortable. It was 254 for the one night and we left exhausted. As we are both full time carers, you can imagine how much we needed this break, but really felt exploited.

I loved the pancakes and the choice of cereal and that you had provided cereal children like aseell

I would of love the portion at dinner time was bigger for the price as I had the lasagne I wasn't full after my meal other than that the food was beautiful

The location was fantastic for the amusements etc. The breakfast was very nice and the staff at breakfast where very accommodating.

I arrived on a Tuesday paid over €200 for the room which included breakfast. This hotel says 4 stars. The reception/ lobby and outdoors are beautiful but the bedrooms are awful. We got a room with a window that opened only a tiny bit with a desk fan to cool down. My daughter found finger/toe nails on her bed. There was dust everywhere. We did get moved to a better room with a balcony but again the room was exactly same but with a balcony. I was firstly told I could have another fan as the hotel was full. My daughter was upset so I told the staff we have decided to head home as we simply cannot stay in that room. The receptionist left an within minutes rang me to say a room had become available, after just specifying the hotel was full and there's nothing they could do. I am very grateful for the room we where moved to and the breakfast was amazing but overall I wouldn't go back. The stairs down to reception smelt so bad the carpet was absolutely filthy. Should NOT be advertised as 4 stars in my opinion.

The safe didn't work in our room. Staff called in a technician , however it still didn't work . Staff did offer to change our room but we declined as we were only there for one night.

We enjoyed our stay at the Majestic Hotel for 3 nights. Friendly staff, beautiful views from the room and lounge area, handy location near the beach and funfair were the best!

The room was very warm when it's sunny in the morning. Good air-conditioning system would be nice for the future. Apart from that, we had a lovely time all the way.

I loved the balcony, the location was excellent, and the breakfast was wonderful, it was just myself and 2 little girls that stayed and we had a lovely time

The price was a little expensive at 432 for 2 nights, 1 adult and a 4 and 6 year old

I loved how near it was to everything, there was parking right across the road. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous with so much choice for everyone and really friendly staff. The bedrooms were very nice and beds very comfy.

The property is very dated inside, there are carpets everywhere including the bar and the dining area. You could smell damp or mist from the carpets in each floor. There was not much seating in the bar either , lots of high stools but not suitable for older clientele or children. The place needs a full revamp inside to fully justify the prices charged.

Loved the cleanness of the hotel it's spotless and the view from our room was amazing. There was a fan in the room which was needed during this lovely weather and the beds are very comfortable.

We booked two rooms and when we arrived for check in one of the rooms were not ready so that was a bit of a let down after travelling. Breakfast wasent great,toaster took too long and the buffet wasent nice not much of a selection.

It's location is perfect for the beach excellent parking clean rooms ,the staff were very helpful especially Conor and Aoife as we had a little problem with our food but everything was sorted would love to return.

I just want to say that no matter where you stay, your experience from start to finish can never be perfect, but it depends on how this is resolved if any issues arise, Laura in particular is exceptional at her job. The staff are absolutely exceptional and I would highly recommend especially if you have kids.
