Vintage palace

My experience with this apartment was extremely disappointing. The photos shown on Booking.com were completely different from what we found upon arrival. The place was old, dirty, and nothing like what was advertised. We immediately contacted the property owner, who had been in touch with us before check-in. After explaining the situation, he admitted that a refund was possible and said he would deduct two nights plus EGP 400 for cleaning. We accepted this and left the apartment, since it was not suitable to stay in. However, after we left—and after he confirmed several times that he would refund the remaining amount—the owner changed the agreement completely. He later refused to return the money, even though we had already vacated the property based on his promise. This experience was stressful, unprofessional, and deeply unfair. I have documented chat conversations and voice notes that clearly show what was agreed on and how the agreement was changed later. I strongly advise future guests to be cautious when booking this property.

There was no heat so towards evening the house was getting cold.

Spacious flat, clean and comfortable bed. Everything works there. It was a pleasure and I would likely be back.
