Horší nalezení místa. Paní nám poslala na WhatsApp špatnou polohu. Lepší by bylo si rovnou najít jméno vily na Google maps, ti mají polohu dobrou. Horší dostupnost, je třeba auto.

Place is too small, it feels claustrophobic, they change 3$ for 1 coffee. I couldn’t believe it. Overall it wasn’t a nice place to stay and I wish I had chosen another place.

Después de un viaje largo fue una situación muy desagradable y estresante. Por suerte, cerca estaba el Hotel Reloj, los llamamos y nos alojaron sin ningún problema. Muy mala experiencia y cero seriedad por parte del anfitrión.

Reviewed Apr 10, 2026Primero la amabilidad de Frank. Nos orienta de lo que se puede hacer y no hacer en Puerto Plata. Me encantó todo , lo nuevo , lo limpio que estaba. Amamos la piscina , la tranquilidad del lugar , la vista desde el segundo piso hacia las montañas y el mar. El barrio de muy buen nivel , se puede llegar tranquilo caminando y sino un motoconcho desde el centro ( negocie siempre 100 y me aceptaban ) somos 2 personas . Ame la cama , comodisima ! Tiene de todo lo que necesitas . Muchas gracias Frank !! En este momento estoy en las Terrenas gracias a tus indicaciones! Nos volveremos a ver , estoy seguro !!!

La possibilité de cuisiner en extérieur autour de la piscine. Cela crée une ambiance chaleureuse. Endroit très sécurisé. Belle vue sur Puerto Plata et la loma Isabel de Torres.
J’ai tout aimé mais j’ai trouvé les chambres un peu petites mais ce n’est pas très grave parce qu’on vit beaucoup dehors.

Tutto perfetto, l’unico consiglio che posso dare é quello di consigliare sempre agli ospiti la strada di accesso alla struttura messa nelle condizioni migliori perchè ce ne una con molti fossi e per chi ha un auto bassa potrebbe essere un problema.

Bed is a little small if you’re taller but comfortable. Power in PP went out on my last night due to heavy rain. No water either until morning. But owner has a generator and let charge my phones.

- Por la noche se fue la luz y en el mini cuarto hacia un calor espantoso. - La habitación era muy muy pequeña, el baño sin puertas y como una especie de armario de cocina con un microondas. - A las 02:00 de la mañana habia un monton de ruido al rededor de la pistina y fue complicado dormir. - La dueña al hacer la reserva nos llamo y esctibio varias veces para saber la hora de llegada, total, que llegamos y esperamos porque vino su marido… muy “insistente” para nada.

La ubicación de la villa es ideal para los paseos y visitar lugares turísticos ya que todo está cerca. Es ideal para familias y grandes grupos si hay disponibilidad. Lo recomiendo.

He even took me to the airport and assisted with getting food, pesos and some beverages. As a female travelling alone, this was very appreciated and I felt very safe.

Reviewed Mar 13, 2025The whole Compound coz its essentially Caribbean Cabins around a pool in a walled compound..Cathedral ceilings , good wifi, most cooking done outdoors on propane heaters or a BBQ..there was a microwave in the room that I did not use..A great common terrace, and open covered lounge with Granite counters, where you can cook also..Around the pool , an outdoor BBQ and Hotplate, a large screen where we watched the Superbowl..Alexa is there too to play songs..its up on ze Hill. The field next door has Cows..The neighbor across has a Villa and chickens and a rooster..The View from the 2nd floor deck is superb..you see the Cruiseships coming into the Port..Shopping is 5 minute walk down ze hill near the Fruit Market..on Villanueva..Back up by Moto Taxi, cab or walking up slowly. The host Francois is a multilingual Quebecois.

Reviewed Feb 16, 2025This was our first night in DR and our plans were very blurry at that time. Frank gave us great hints and finally we decided to go to Punta Rucia. We rented a motorbike from Frank, and he booked a motorboat trip in Punta Rucia for us. It was a great day. Also, the hotel was quite nice, with a lot of shared space (terrace, table by the swimming pool), and in a good location.
The room was small and simple. It would help a lot to organize things differently, eg. move the flat TV away from hitting it with your head, move the fridge out of the table etc. Also, the common area with guests sitting and speaking loudly just 2 meters from the room doors didn't give much privacy.

There wasn’t anything bad but things to be aware of: their is no bathroom door between the bedroom and the toilet, and the bed only has a sheet to sleep under so if your someone who likes to bundle up, bring a blanket.

All outside areas are smoking, if you are a smoker, this is a plus. Not much in neighborhood, but in 15-30 minute walk you have access to all.
