Stardust Cabin

Cabin is in a beautiful location,in south co.Kilkenny,Ireland

There is a bad mouse problem in the cabin. One night,my wife woke up screaming and woke us all up....a mouse had crawled all over her face. I have photos to prove the many mouse droppings that were on the bottom sheet. At no stage did we leave the front door open. When out away from the cabin,we made sure all windows were closed as well are security conscious. Also,we we could never use the balcony which was a great disadvantage as roof leaked in 2 different places,over the table and over the seating. We have advised Renata,the landlady, of these problems and received an unsatisfactory reply...no apology or offer of a refund. Considering this house is quite expensive at €309 for the 2 nights,this is not at all acceptable...after all,it is only a glorified mobile home. We hereby REQUEST A REFUND. It was all the more upsetting as we had travelled long distance to Templeorum to bury my late brother's ashes in Templeorum graveyard...this is the last thing we needed.

Le bungalow est très fonctionnel, nous étions très heureux d y être pour 2 nuits. Les enfants ont apprécié le jardin aménagé, nous avons apprécié la terrasse, quoiqu elle devrait être un peu rénovée. La cuisine est fonctionnelle, tout est pensé pour un séjour agréable.

L eau de la douche n est pas très puissante, le lit de la chambre du fond n est pas très confortable.

The property is in an nice countryside setting, it was only needed for 1 nights accommodation for an early start for Kilkenny the next day so was peaceful and perfect for the night Collection of the keys was so easy, the hosts contacted us and gave us all the information we needed form the location code to get to the cabins, how to access and check out instructions, we requested a second bedroom be made up as there were 2 of us and this was done for our arrival Would definitely go back again, hopefully for a few more nights

Incredible location - beautiful 10pm summer sunsets over County Kilkenny were enjoyed from the enclosed outdoor sitting area, and we were able to cook meals in the well appointed kitchen (which included useful bits like oil, salt and pepper, some spices). Hosts live on the adjacent property and were able to help with any queries, and even provided a deck of cards when asked. Great amount of storage in the primary bedroom! The lounge/kitchen area are generous, and the large wrap around verandah is enclosed with both lounge and dining table seating options with great views from every angle.

The bedrooms and bathroom are off quite a narrow hallway (think campervan size), and the single rooms are pretty cosy with not much room for a bag (we just used a corner of the lounge).

I loved the fact that it's in a remote area ideal for an escape from the rat race.it catered for all my needs.we only stayed one night for work commitments.i would definitely stay here again.reasonably priced and nobody bothering us.quiet and serene.

Excellent price/value ratio. It is out in the farmlands of Ireland, which is a good place to be. For a one night stay on the way to Waterford, it worked out very well.

The name "Cabin" is appropriate, as in cruise ship cabin. Everything, especially the bedrooms, toilet room, hallway and bathroom are very compact. But it works!

Très bon emplacement. Environnement très agréable et très jolie vue. Le logement était au calme et très propre. Arrivée un peu cocace dans la bouse de vache sur la route mais on était informé d'être vigilants !

La machine à café ne fonctionnait pas car en alerte calcaire.

Everything was to our satisfaction

It was great having a home for my family to come to after a hectic day! We were able to cook, shower, and do laundry (keep in mind hang dry) and felt a little normalcy during our vacation. Got to meet their dog which was great for the kids and the house had toys and a playground which really set this place apart for me! For the price it well exceeded my expectations and just a heads up the roads getting put there were a bit tight for nervous drivers but I loved it! Would definitely recommend this again!!!

Bella casa in stile bungalow con veranda immerso nella campagna irlandese. Soggiorno ampio, Wi-Fi e Netflix. Host disponibili e cordiali.

Camere, corridoi e bagno molto piccoli. Assenza del phon e non possibilità di regolare in autonomia il riscaldamento.

Complete TV and internet access (3 Televisions) in every room except the single room. Nice veranda and view of nature. The whole cabin had everything I needed. Separate shower and toilet. How it was in the middle of nature. If only the skies were clear, best place for stargazing.

Tight doors or small door clearance (am a plus size - size 18) and I find it tight in the toilet. Our phone provider (eir and gomo) has weak reception in the area but it was compensated by their strong internet connection.

The cabin was really well decorated and cozy. The location was amazing, the view was breathtaking and the outdoor area was superb.

The beds were a bit firm and the couch was a bit too firm.

Ми зупинялися на одну ніч. У нас був окремий будинок. Є власна парковка. Кімнати дуже маленькі. Але якщо на одну ніч зупинитись, то дуже гарно. Ми були восени. Думаю, що літом там було б дуже гарно. В будинку є кухня, опалення, душ з холодною та гарячою водою. Є окрема веранда, де можна влітку посидіти.

We only stayed for one night while travelling, but would definitely stay there for longer. It's very homely, and has fantastic views.

La limpieza del alojamiento era buena. Está bien equipado. La cocina perfectamente acondicionada, nosotros íbamos en familia y pudimos cocinar y hacer vida sin problemas. Tienen Netflix, lo que es de agradecer cuando llegas por la noche y puedes ver algo antes de irte a dormir. Estuvimos alojados en la cabina nº 5, que es la más grande con un porche exterior cubierto en el que puedes dejar la ropa tendida. Tenía 3 habitaciones, una con cama de matrimonio (estrecha), pequeñas sólo aptas para dormir. El WC y la ducha están separadas. Las vistas del anochecer, preciosas. El propietario vive al lado y estuvo atento en todo momento, muy agradables. Volvería.

Aunque el salón/cocina es suficientemente amplio, las habitaciones son muy justas, y los espacios para WC y la ducha son la mínima expresión. El alojamiento está lejos de "la civilización", es una zona rural muy tranquila pero la tienda (y el pueblo) más cercana está a 10' en coche. No me gustó que el suelo, sobre todo de la zona de las habitaciones, WC y ducha, "crujiera" por la noche.

Tanti utensili, doccia spaziosa, lavatrice, asciugatrice e lavastoviglie aggiornate ed efficaci, barbecue. La veranda della cabin n.3 aumenta l’atmosfera magica. Betten etwas unbequem aber noch ok Für ein gebuchtes B&B war das Frühstück sehr mau. Es wurden zwar Zutaten bereitgestellt, allerdings musste man die Zubereitung selbst machen. Die Zutaten waren zudem fast alle schon von den vorherigen Gästen und dementsprechend (wann auch immer) geöffnet.

Parecía que no iba a tener tantos detalles, siendo una cabina, pero me sorprendió, en un espacio muy pequeño tienes de todo: tres dormitorios, cocina completamente equipada y baño (dividido en dos partes) también completo... Y no solo eso, disponía de una terraza super agradable con vistas al campo, todo lleno de detalles y comodidades, hasta tiene Netflix. Un acierto 😀

El espacio según se pasa del salón-cocina es bastante limitado, pero todo está hecho de forma muy práctica y no es una gran limitación. El suelo cruje cuando lo pisas.

Beds were very hard would not have been able to sleep on them more than one night whitch was a pity as it was a lovely quite spot and would be safe for kids.Shower and tolit so small.

Fabulous living area and terrace. Wonderful views and sunset. Owner was quick to respond and try to resolve problems.

The second double bed was very small and the room tiny. The bathroom facilities were very cramped and hot water erratic.

The cabin is in a lovely green area, which feels very peaceful. The facilities are really good and big enough to accommodate 4 adults. The kitchen is fully stocked including for breakfast. Perfect if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of bigger cities. Just bear in mind that the nearest shops are 10-minute drive, but good distance to Killarney to visit the next day

The doorways were quite narrow for bigger people.

The location is rural and very quiet, the original furniture and decoration IKEA style, modern and nice.

Best you are not afraid of spiderwebs, dead flies everywhere and a tiny house concept which optimizes space in a way that I could not use the toilet normal, but square. I am not picky but mattresses a horror of springs and the dryer so rusty which scared me. The breakfast is a package of AldiToast, Hotel butter and jam packages, the cereals I have not used. Basically it is a garden hut. Give it a good deep clean, some minor fixes and you are back in the zone of acceptable standards.

It was beautifully furnished and clean, and Renata the host was nice.

I know it’s a cabin but I didn’t realise how noisy it would be. We used all 3 rooms and it felt like we were staying in one room because you could literally hear every sound coming from the other rooms. Other than that, it was a nice, cute place.

The Cabin was very clean and it had lovely garden equipment for my little girl to play with and it was equipped with everything needed including coffee / tea milk etc there was also colouring supplies inside with toys for children to play with
