Traveler House

Host

NA

The host is very Genuine and Empathetic.

Nothing as such

The host was very good, and friendly. The stay was pleasant. Will come again next time.!

Nothing to mention.

The owner is so friendly and so fun.

It's all about the host Angel, She does justice to her name, you'll feel right at home, it is a basic stay so don't go expecting anything more but you will feel comfortable because of the host

Host hospitality

Awesome host and place, highly recommend!

It was really good stay. I really enjoyed talking to the owner... She was way too nice and was friendly.

I felt like home :) the owner Angel was very helpful since the beginning, and gave me lots of tips to travel Nagaland and northeast especially. I liked her making sure everyone enjoys staying at her hostel. She was very considerate and thoughtful to all of the guest.

I cannot ask this hostel more than anything… the fee per night is way too cheap for this hostel. I felt I would be much better if the wifi was available if I could be frank.

The host was very hospitable and friendly. Host gave lot of tips and further suggestions for planning my next trip to Nagaland. We had interesting conversations. Angel is really a nice human being and so are the local people in this Nagaland. The food provided for 200/- was not good. For breakfast I was offered Maggi for 150/-. Thé approach to the room is confusing. Location is not convenient. One should find something near the station area etc that I realised later.

Owner behaviour are so good 😊

😊

Angel was a great host, minimalistic and clean room.

Nothing

Everything was good the food the bed staying facility the location near railway station also less croweded area,... There was backup for electricity also... The rooms kitchen was very neat and clean

The owner angel was so free and kind also friendly co operative she helped me a lot to know about their food culture history visiting places also aksed if I wants any kind of help to call her...

The host is what i liked the most. She's very chill, and has a very different way of travel. And of course, the property was well kept, and clean.

That google maps showed me the wrong location and i had to wait for 15 minutes to arrive at the right destination.

No washbasin in washroom but host is welcoming.

This homestay is the gateway to Nagaland. A stay here will be very helpful for your Nagaland trip ahead.

The place could use a hot water geyser. Rest is all top.

Really nice stay and made some delicious food. Gave me a lot of information and contacts for my journey into Nagaland.

1.The place feels homely , its a nice little cozy place 2.Host is super friendly and the place is at an accessible location 3.The host also provide meal and snacks options.

1.Restrooms can be cleaner

Home made food, nice clean rooms, very nice friendly host

Hard to find😅

Liked the location, in the morning when you open your balcony, the sun is rising with great view. Angel (the host) is one of the first person I met when came to Nagaland, It instantly made me fell in love with their welcoming people and culture, she helped me through the travel with her contacts and her experience. She kept checking on me how I was doing. To sum up, I met a friend than a host.

Location is scenic , just little away ( 2-3km ) from Railway station if you are travelling alone.

I stayed at Traveler House in Dimapur, Nagaland, managed by Angel, a seasoned traveler with vast experiences from her journeys across India. She loves meeting fellow travelers, and staying with her was an enriching experience. Her hostel is perfect for minimalist people, like me, who enjoy simple and authentic accommodations rather than luxury. The hostel is within walking distance of the railway station and offers a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, with a lovely view from the balcony. I also had the chance to explore the local Wednesday market and enjoyed walking around the area. If you're looking for a genuine travel experience, this place is highly recommended.

Everything was good.

Don’t expect this hostel to be as commercialized as others; the best part is the owner, Angel. She’s a traveler herself and knows what travelers need. She'll help you plan your travels and makes fantastic food. It’s not just about the place, but about the people.

It cost only 500Rs it's still affordable.

No wifi No entrance sign mobile charger connection isn't so good. Dinner costs 150Rs, so when you wanna stay here you should have dinner outside in advance. Many local restaurants around the railway station.

As a traveler herself, Angle has created Travel House as a homey retreat. She's also an excellent guide for those wanting to explore Nagaland. To me, it felt like home while on the road. For anyone looking for a friendly and comfortable place to stay in Dimapur, do check it out.

The owner, the location and the price, all good.

The washroom has a common mug for bathing and cleaning your back. There is no wash basin, no jet spray in the toilet. No hand wash. No air-conditioning, and the common kitchen hall.

It was amazing, clean, hygiene and the host was very friendly

The lovely host made my stay pleasant!

Very helpful host who connected me to homestay in Kigwema and helped me in planning my itinerary to Dzukou Valley. The hostel was also clean and a good place to chill.

Nothing.

The house is neat and comfortable. The host is extremely friendly and helpful.

There's nothing that I did not like. Just a point for travelers that it's located within an apartment complex

Angel was a really nice host and made sure all amenities were in place.

First the specifics: - 30 minute walk / short tuk-tuk ride from the railway station. - Power backup & multiple plug points. - Comfortable bed with fresh and clean sheets and blankets. - Access to the kitchen. - Both washrooms were clean. - Dry balcony with ample sunlight overlooking fields, the street & a chapel. Now as the other reviews have already pointed it out; Angel is undoubtedly the reason this place is exceptional. - Made sure I reached the place without any hassle. - When the shops around were shut due to statewide strike, I hardly had any problem because she made sure the place had groceries and encouraged me to explore whatever was still available/open in Dimapur. - While access to the kitchen is great, I highly recommend trying her cooking. She even sourced produce straight from her family home during my stay. - When you leave she'll make sure you have a plan & ample contacts for the next leg of your trip.

Yes, It is very nice place to stay. i feels like i’m at my home..

none. 100% i recommend everyone to go stay there.

Angel takes the Hospitality to the next level. She is really a down to earth personality. She is very helpful in nature and she voluntarily helps you in planning your trips. She is more than a host "A Friend". Hostel is well maintained and there is always a positive vibe when you interact with her friends also. Nagaland is truly an amazing place. Visiting just once is not enough.

Angel is an excellent host. She goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. She also helps plan your trips further

The ambience. The behavior of the manager.

No mirrors inside the washroom nor in the living room..no wash basin..no television..

This place was amazing and the owner Angel is fantastic and very welcoming and she has contacts all over India as she has a lot of travel experience herself and helped me plan the next part of my journey into eastern Nagaland. Great location and great price and always excellent vibes

The bed, sheets and blankets were clean. It was very comfortable. We had access to the kitchen as well. I liked the vibe of the place.

Nothing

The host was very welcoming, and it was a pleasant stay. The rooms were clean, and the host allowed us to cook our own food. It is relatively close to the city centre, however its a little hard to find initially

There was no heater in the bathroom but the host provided heating rod to heat the water before showering.

Angel is the sweetest and most helpfull person.

Everything

Nothing

Everything feels just so like home. Awesome experience. Good vibes 👌🏻 One must visit if travelling in this area.

Hospitality and cleanliness

The host angel is superb and cooks great . If you are in dimapaur u have a home so stay in home not in hotel

Nearby railway station, host Miss Angel was amazing company. Lovely to talk to and she made chai and offered rusk biscuits to travellers.

Dorm gets extremely hot and humid, some extra fans could be great. Washroom doesn't have Western style alternative. Only 1 charging point present for the entire dorm.

The host, facilities and pricing

It gets really warm and mosquitos

It's a nice and cozy place to stay, the owner Angel was friendly and we had a great time there.

I like this place next time I will come in dimapur I will stay here defferent and saggest to other plz go and experience in this place this place is very good

Nothing I like all things

The host is amazing, felt like home and made good friends with her. . . Girls support this woman entrepreneurs by booking if u are visiting dimapur. I must say I went like a traveller but came as friends with her. It is so lovely to meet a fellow woman who is thriving for her dreams. . . Angel thanks for everything.

Located in the suburbs in Burmese rainbow camp.Away from busy marketplace. Small but spacious, If it was filled to capacity, then perhaps a little squashed, There was only me and another so perfect

I think the kitchen could do with , freshening and brightening up with a couple of coats of paint.

They didn't allow me to check in

They didn't allow me to check in

For a Solo Traveler, this location was amazing, the property is newly constucted building, only 07 minutes drive from the Railway Station, around the Burma Camp, little away from the main city area, hence it was extremely peaceful and an opportunity to be amongst locals too and surely enjoy their amazing and famous cuisines. The locality is very calm, people around are very friendly and helpful. 3rd floor view was mesmerizing, looking down at The Salvation Baptist Church and beside it was a wonderful open air venue for weddings and ceremonies, you can sit on the beanbag planted in the balcony and plan for your future or your next trip ahead. Many shops around to buy your daily needs. What else you require with your own Kitchen at this property. You can cook yourself or order your meal in advance @ Rs.200 only (Lunch or Dinner). Please note, the owner is herself a magician when it comes to taking the kitchen in her own hands. Was a blessing to have eaten home cooked food away from home in the afternoon as she was available herself for an hour, other than taking care of her other major businesses in the state of Nagaland.

Liked everything over all. But, with the temperature souring in this part of the country, it is not at all necessary to install an air conditioner, but a cooler will do for future. But there is no complaint, as the owner has already arranged an invertor from day 1, so if there is any power cut in this area, the guests are at ease 24/7. No regrets as sleep was peaceful at night without any disturbance.

Accomodation is just newly open, everything is neat and clean. Very well equipped kitchen. Travel house is just half hour walk from railway station and even closer to the centre. The most I liked hospitality and warm welcome of Angela and her brothers. Highly recommend, best deal quality vs money!
