The location

I was not able to arrive at the checking times on the advert. I have asked to see if the checking could be later, and the answer was a copy-paste of what was in the TC. And then I asked if I could cancel and no answer. This trip cost me the double. There is no flexibility at all.

Silencieux, la décoration de la chambre

Hôte peu accueillant (pressé), chambre petite, lit étroit et peu confortable, salle de bain petite et sale (tâches noires et jaunâtres sur les serviettes, coins de douche noirs), peu d'équipements (pas de cintres dans la penderie, bocal de café quasiment vide). De plus, pas de petit-déjeuner possible alors qu'il s'agit d'un Bed & Breakfast.

Beds were comfortable and there was a pleasant view from the room. The host was very friendly. And the location was close to some good pubs.

The room was nicely decorated and a great size, with a large closet and a table with 2 chairs. Unfortunately, the bathroom had visible mold in the shower and on the ceiling, and emitted such a strong smell we had to keep the door closed. Not sure it was healthy for us to be in there to shower. Lastly, with a pedestal sink and no shelves in the bathroom or the shower, there was nowhere to keep things to get ready.

Spacious room

Quite unfriendly host. Not hostile but we were greeted with only the necessary words of explanation. Contact with the host only via WhatsApp. We ran into the host in the morning by pure chance, but not a single word was spoken (I.e. no "have a nice stay", "good morning" etc.) All in all we didn't feel welcome guests but rather tolerated.

Tutto, posto tranquillo, camere ampie e confortevoli, soluzione ideale se si ha la possibilità di spostarsi in autonomia in macchina.

È stato l'unico B&B che non offrisse la colazione, questa l'unica pecca, nonostante ci fosse a disposizione il bollitore e quanto necessario per un thè o per un caffè macchiato.

We enjoyed the friendly staff who gave us local tips and let us check in early. The room was clean and close to the sights we wanted to see in Blarney.

The early 8 pm check in was inconvenient compared to other places on our trip and the owner felt rushed and not very welcoming which was disappointing considering the positive reviews we read

J’ai réservé pour un B&B. Malheureusement nous n’avons pas eu le petit déjeuner. Donc un peu décevant.

La maison est dans un quartier calme, à quelques minutes à pieds du château de Blarney. La chambre est confortable et présente tous les avantages, avec en plus le confort d'être indépendant. Le jardin est agréable et accueillant.

Check in was quick and easy. Loved the home feel.

No breakfast, but we had an early flight and didn't want one any way. Kettle in room. You can get breakfast in the town.

Our host was so kind and helpful. It is a perfect spot, just a 15 minute walk away from the castle and town.

The room was clean and well organized. Also, the host helped me to solve problem even in the late night!

It would be nice if there was a notification of a dog.

A lovely decorated room, quiet and wonderful host.

We had a modern and beautifully decorated room. Vicky was helpful with advice. Everything, including the bed, was comfortable and clean. It was a shortish walk down to Blarney village to the pubs and restaurants there, and very convenient for Blarney Castle.

Everything was good. The only small issue was we couldn’t find any power points, other than those near the floor, into which to plug the electric jug, so had to place it on the floor to boil. Of course, maybe we just didn’t look hard enough

After booking, I received an email stating breakfast was no longer being served. That should have been indicated on the booking.com web page. I booked after reading previous reviews that stated breakfast was delicious. So quite disappointing.

The owner was so lovely and nice. She gave us great tips for parking in Cork. The area was peacefull. The room was bright and realy nicely decorated. We enjoyed it!

We could walk to the restaurants and bars.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Nothing too fancy, but great location near Blarney Castle. We were able to walk into town for dinner and drinks. No breakfast, but fairly reasonably priced for just a nights stay. Would definitly stay there again.

Location was excellent, and our hostess was very friendly and helpful with directions and answering questions. I would absolutely recommend Foxhollow house!

Foxhollow House is within a lovely, well maintained building with a pleasing outlook. The room was ample, very well laid out, clean and comfortable. Host was very attentive. WiFi and Netflix were great. Breakfast was basic but good. Location was good.

The location is good but without a car, getting into the main centre of Blarney could prove to be a bit of a trek for some. The bathroom could use some extra shelves for toiletries and such. Other than that (minor issue, really), our stay at Foxhollow House was pleasant and very comfortable.

We stayed only one night but we could have stayed longer! The location is great, in a quiet neighborhood, and really not far away from the castle or bars and restaurants. We went to dinner in one of the pub, it was crowded just like we wanted it to be, people singing and chatting all together, it's great! The room is big, comfy, I felt at home. We had a minor incident with the toilet when we arrived, but our lively host fixed it immediately! I felt she really wanted us to feel good in her home.

This was a great place for our one night in Cork. The host was very welcoming and the room was very nice.

Great accommodation, with ensuite shower near to Blarney Castle. Lovely welcome from our host. Tea /coffee provided in room. Continental breakfast was good.

The home looks and feels newer, with well appointed rooms and ensuites. We were welcomed immediately with kindness and warmth. As Foxhollow house is just outside of the town center, it was quiet and yet very easy to navigate to. We appreciated the dinner recommendations provided, and although we did not avail ourselves of the continental breakfast, it looked to be well portioned.

El alojamiento era muchísimo mejor de lo esperado, en persona es mucho más bonito, la anfitriona Becky era muy agradable, nos ayudó a calentar nuestra comida y nos ofreció desayuno en un comedor precioso

Casetta splendidamente arredata con comodo parcheggio antistante l'abitazione, proprietaria cortese, simpatica e disponibile oltre che gentilissima. Ci ha fornito anche ottimi consigli per la cena. La stanza arredata con gusto e di recente ristrutturazione oltre il letto ha un comodo tavolino, il bagno è piccolo ma ben sfruttato. La colazione buona e servita in una graziosissima saletta al pian terreno. Posizione comoda per vedere il Blarney Castle, dista un paio di chilometri.

Suggerirei semplicemente l'aggiunta di qualche appoggio o gancio supplementare in bagno, per il resto un'ottima sistemazione.
