Exceptional Seafront Penthouse

The apartment has a fantastic terrace with views to die for! It is spacious and very well equipped with a lounge and a conservatory area where you can relax/eat if the weather isn't perfect. All three bedrooms were very good and comfortable. The host was extremely welcoming and helpful. The property was clean and well kept. It has number of modern features, we didn't quite work out what all of the switches did in our 5 night stay. It's well located and you can walk to both the Madina or Port El Kantaoui in about an hour either by road or along the beach, cheap taxis are also readily available too, I'd recommend downloading bolt (a bit like Uber) to get a fair price without having to negotiate with the drivers. For great food we'd recommend going to 'Dar Hallouma' in the new town area 10 min taxi away for great value, authentic local food, the lamb was to die for. Also recommend 'Dar Mariem' at the back end of the Madina, the family ( Inc the kids) prepared us a great meal and didn't rip us off with the price. For a beer, also recommend Bar Havana inside Hotel Cleopatra 5 mins walk away. Was a good local bar with local beer prices (5 dinar). They also did good pizza if you wanted to eat something while you drink. If you do want to buy alcohol to drink at home, the nearest place is MG City supermarket at Port El Kantaoui.

We did have a couple of improvement recommendations. Mainly that one of the bathrooms has no shower curtain and another had no shelf for toiletries in the shower. Would also be great if more hanging/ wardrobe space for clothes was made available in the main and back bedroom. That said, it wouldn't stop us returning again.

My stay at the Exceptional Seafront Penthouse was truly unforgettable! From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this property is managed with the utmost care and attention to detail. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, and every part of the penthouse was designed for ultimate comfort and relaxation. The hospitality was superb; the hosts were attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in luxury by the Mediterranean Sea!

I should mention that my transfer booked through Booking.com from Tunis Carthage Airport wasn’t ideal. I highly recommend opting for a premium (Executive) transfer service for a smoother, more comfortable experience.
