Reviewed Jul 6, 2026La atención fue espectacular durante toda la estadía. Lennsee, la anfitriona, es una persona muy amable, atenta y siempre dispuesta a ayudar. Fariz también fue excelente respondiendo todas nuestras preguntas. Nos brindaron información muy útil para desplazarnos al pueblo y nos compartieron el contacto de varios conductores, lo que hizo mucho más fácil la movilidad. Además, hay varios ríos cercanos; dependiendo del plan que se quiera hacer, algunos están a unos 20 minutos caminando y otros aproximadamente a 7 minutos. Quiero resaltar especialmente la calidad humana y el profesionalismo con los que nos trataron. Por un descuido mío olvidé que la salida era a las 11:00 a. m. y ellos, a pesar de tener otra reserva programada, hicieron todo lo posible por contactarnos. En ningún momento tocaron nuestras pertenencias y siempre nos trataron con respeto, amabilidad y mucha consideración. Ese gesto habla muy bien de ellos y fue algo que realmente valoré.
Lo único que considero que podrían mejorar es el estado de las puertas del baño. La puerta principal del baño no cerraba correctamente y la puerta de la cabina del sanitario tampoco, lo que afectaba un poco la privacidad.

El hostel muy bueno cerca de todo mi hija lo disfruto y mi gato se sintió como en casa hizo muchos amigos humanos. Gracias por todo Dios les pague🙏

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026Lindsay y Farith son los mejores anfitriones del mundo! Siempre atentos a que los huéspedes se sientan bien. Los colchones son excelentes para el descanso, la habitación super amplia y la vibra y tranquilidad del lugar es espectacular. A 5 - 10 minutos caminando tienes el balneario las tangas y las cascadas, el pueblo y demás sitios de interés, están a un motocarro de distancia. Sin duda volveremos!

Reviewed May 25, 2026Farid is the most welcoming host ever, with great connections all around San Rafael to ensure his guests get to enjoy the best activities at great prices. The house is within walking distance of both the hustle and bustle of the center and some of the best “veredas” in the area. The place also comes with an amazing trio of dogs — extremely friendly, clean, and full of character. I can’t wait to come back.

Reviewed Mar 23, 2026I really loved my stay there. They made me feel very much at home. It was a short walk to swim in the river and a short walk to San Rafael. Although I took a motochiva back up the hill with my groceries. My bed was comfortable. And I fell in love with the dogs!

Reviewed Jan 20, 2025Our stay was amazing. We really liked the hosts Farid and Juli, they have a friendly and welcoming energy. The location is a little bit out of town and really close to the river which is mainly what we wanted. The Hostel has a very nice terrace to play ping pong, do yoga or just enjoy the view. Very clean, comfortable and quiet.
I'd put a chair and a table on the room, and maybe some decoration to make it cozy, like a plant or a lamp, but for the rest everything was spotless and the bed super comfy.

The hostel itself is spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay: the beds are cozy, the kitchen is fully equipped, and there’s even a space to hang out clothes which came in very handy. I highly recommend Maracuya Hostel! Thank you for making my first time in San Rafael so great!
