The hotel was everything I had hoped for and more. A really convenient location near the Stupa but away from the bustle and business. An easy walk to the Stupa. The staff were friendly and accommodating with special thanks to Nee ma and Sumit who helped with any questions and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable.

I really loved the authentic, spacious, and relaxing atmosphere of Hotel Dolmaling – Stay for a Cause. It has a peaceful character that makes you feel comfortable as soon as you arrive. The staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and always ready to help. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the location is also very convenient and central. A lovely place to stay in Kathmandu!

Отель находится в 5 минутах от Боуды, на мой взгляд расположение лучше, чем в Тамель (спокойней). На территории отеля буддистский храм в котором по утрам проходят занятия йогой. Вкусно в ресторане. Приятный персонал. Однозначно вернусь в эту гостиницу.

It is a beautiful hotel, calm, peaceful, in a very good location. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Taxi transfer was late even I emphasised the importance to be on time. As a result I missed one of main temple to visit.

I had the most beautiful stay at Hotel Dolmaling, everything was pristine, the food was superb, the location was excellent. I would like to thank everyone from the Manager to the wait staff, to my lovely driver who picked me up. It is a little Oasis in the middle of Kathmandu🙏🪷

Location and quietness was good.

Bathrooms smelled due to no windows or good exhaust. The rooms were not in the hotel building but like in an outhouse building with no elevators which was misleading from what is shown in the website photos. The floors were worn out and looked dirty with scratches everywhere. The staff even charged us Rs. 500 for a wash cloth which got dirty because of wiping the balcony railing which was dirty.

The pool restaurant is a hangout for local young adults. No room clean up.

The location is central yet quiet at night, the grounds are beautiful with the flowers, the staff is beyond helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable!

The Hotel serves a Buddhist temple, if you're not Buddhist I'd not stay there. It is far from the city and places of work. The breakfast was very basic and disapointing.

とても静かな場所で、敷地内に寺院があるせいか広く、気の流れもよい。レセプション、ロビーの香りもよく、気持ちが良い。どのスタッフも穏やかで親切。毎朝８時から寺院内で無料のヨガのクラスがある。ストゥーパまで朝の散歩としてちょうどよい距離。朝食も毎日メニューが変わり、とても美味しい。中庭で夜過ごすのも、部屋のバルコニーで過ごすのも快適。空港送迎も完ぺきだった。

特にないが、チェックアウト後荷物をホテルに保管してもらったため、何度か戻ってきたのだが、その際に部屋に忘れ物をしていたことを教えてくれなかった。でもこちらも気が付かなかったのでしょうがないと思っている。

It’s brilliant- close enough to everything but still remains a haven of peace and quiet. The ladies are reception organise ever thing well and nothing is too much trouble.

Breakfast was good enough, morning yoga class was for me very inspirationing . Hotel is very near to Stupa, rooms clean and big enough. Nice staff. I can only recommand.

Very good location, close to the Budha Stupa and surrounded by monasteries. Loved the morning yoga at the temple, and the meals a the restaurant.

Unfortunately the terrace was not accessible at the moment, but we had a nice view from our room anyway.

Very nice and peaceful place! Possible to book the temple for meditation. Excellent aircondition!

A reading lamp in the room would be useful. I read books not just on computers. From the description of the room I expected a seating area. There was no seating area in the room.

It was a very satisfying stay. The staff was super nice, food was simple but delicious. I really liked breakfast. I usually hate lackluster hotel breakfast to the point that I don't usually include the option, but tho selection was not wide, all were prepared with care and skill. So much so that I had dinner there and it didn't disappoint.

Only reason I didn't give 10 was the shower's hot water was not enough. It was 2 of us, and for some reason the second one taking shower in the day got only very lukewarm water.

They show this nice temple but the actual hotel is a different place

First and foremost, they forgot to send an airport shuttle driver to pick me up with my arranged airport pickup, so I had to deal with unpleasant individuals at the airport that were trying to sell me everything from Nepal tour to hotel stay before I got onto taxi. Second, the room was full of big flying bugs and mosquitoes, that were annoying and loud. Thirdly, they advertise this big nice temple which you see only on check in, but the actual hotel is a different building. And from the pros, its close to Budda Stupa, but there are many hotels closer.

This hotel was perfect. Situated a short walk from the Baudhanath Stupa, you wouldn't even know you were so close to the hustle and bustle; it was like an idyllic oasis. The rooms were comfortable; the restaurant delicious - we particularly enjoyed the Bhutanese menu, which was an interesting change from Nepali. The Pool and adjoining bar were also a great place to unwind into the late evening. Also, a well deserved shout-out to Manisha, who makes the best coffee that side of Melbourne; as a coffee snob it was like a little touch of home.

I feel a hotel of this calibre and setting would benefit from a spa but it's definitely not a deal breaker.

2min walk to Boudhanath Stupa. Spacious common area in the midst of packed area. Decent restaurant and wonderful staff, particularly Ms Sujata and Neenu from the reception desk.

Probably due to rains, the swimming pool needed a clean up on the day we stayed.

Die Lage ist perfekt. Ruhig und doch zentral in Boudanath. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Mir persönlich, aber das ist wirklich persönlich waren hier zu viele spirituell eingestellte Menschen oder solche, die es werden wollen. Ich mag das esoterische Getue einfach nicht.

The hotel lobby and courtyard are around the Buddhist temple. Nice breakfast included. They provided pick up on our first day. There is mini bar in the room. The neighborhood is interesting although far from Thamel.

The staff is messy.. no room clean up and yoga instructor was 15 minutes late to the 1h practice. Suddenly on Saturdays there is no practice. And moreover we left our bags to be kept the last day in the cloakroom and they lost one.. it appeared in another hotel and we almost missed our flight meanwhile we waited for the bag to be returned.. lastly the airport is very close so you will hear planes all night.

Mitten im Innenhof befindet sich ein kleiner Schrein, der wunderschön gestaltet ist und besonders für Menschen, die eine spirituelle Erfahrung suchen, eine sehr besondere Atmosphäre schafft. Das Hotel liegt außerdem sehr nah an der Boudhanath Stupa. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und unterstützend

Was mir weniger gefallen hat, war die allgemeine Lage des Hotels. Man muss durch viele kleine Gassen laufen, und der Weg dorthin ist etwas kompliziert zu finden. Außerdem liegt das Hotel relativ weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Für Reisende, die Nachtleben, Restaurants oder eine zentrale Lage suchen, ist es daher vielleicht nicht die beste Wahl.

The breakfast options were superb. Loved the pool, and bar pool. The food at the restaurant was great. It was like a little oasis in Boudha.

Fantastic location close to Boudanath Stupa and very convenient for the airport. Although under the flight path, there weren’t that many planes and it was still peaceful and quiet. (I don’t like noise so had it been an issue I would have said so!). Nice areas to sit and relax, with a pool and complementary yoga classes in the morning and food was good. They are apparently in the process of developing an area for a spa. Also liked that the profits from the hotel go to support the adjacent monastery and its work. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was generally quiet with a pool and lovely large gardern area, not far from the stupa. The road to the Boudhanath stupa was far less busy and noisy than many are. I loved the Buddhist temple there. Staff were very good and the food tasty. I had a cold so didn't attend yoga class or use the outdoor pool, but people seemed to enjoy it.

There were a couple of large group all day events in the garden which were a little noisy, but otherwise it was very good.

La struttura una volta entrati nella hall di ingresso impressiona e il monastero privato con la possibilità di praticare yoga al mattino con istruttore gratuitamente è fantastico.

Il bagno era vetusto e un po' arrangiato, andrebbe curato un po' di più. La colazione buona ma non è il massimo dover pagare un extra per un caffè o un cappuccino.

Lovely quiet location, beautiful monastery in the grounds, very clean and beautifully furnished and decorated. Room was super comfortable. Staff were all lovely very kind warm and helpful. Food was excellent.

Es hat nach den langen Trekkingtouren ideal gepasst, 2 Tage dort die Ruhe und den Komfort zu genießen. Das Restaurant ist erstklassig.

It is a beautiful hotel. Yoga in the built-in gompa was wonderful. A few minute walk to the stupa. Much more quiet than Thamel.

The location is not as convenient as the hotel in Thamel other than the stupa for a main attraction.

Everything was great, the hotel is beautiful, the room was nice and clean, and the staff was lovely.

We only struggled a bit with arranged transportation (from and to the airport), and would recommend counting extra time in this regard.

Perfect stay; confortable, clean, convenient location, delicious food and to top it up, great yoga class every morning in beautiful peaceful monastery setting. I also like that they’re a non-profit supporting Buddhist monks.

Die Lage ist umwerfend. Auch die gesamte Anlage wirkt sehr gepflegt. Den Pool haben wir zwar nicht genutzt, aber er war sauber und groß. Das Bad war auch sehr sauber. Leider waren im Zimmer und im Bett Haare. Den Balkon haben wir nicht genutzt, da auf der Klimaanlage Tauben waren und ihr Kot lag auf dem Boden. Zudem war unsere Aussicht auf einen angrenzenden Hinterhof, der leider viel Müll beherbergte (dafür kann das Hotel ja nix). Im Restaurant lief eine Ratte rum, für mich ein absolutes NO-GO!

Hotel liegt ruhig in der buddhistischen Monastei, nahe der Stupa. Sehr schön, die Rezitationen zu hören. Zimmer sehr gross und sehr gut eingerichtet, mit Safe, Kühlschrank und bequemem Bett. Es lohnt sich, mit Balkon zu buchen. Personal sehr freundlich und gut Englisch sprechend.

Minibar war nur mit Alkohol gefüllt. Das Restaurant bietet wenig fleischlose Gerichte an. Wäre es nicht schön, hier noch etwas anzupassen?

Ubicación excelente a solo unos pasos de la Estupa. El personal súper amable. La comida deliciosa. Limpieza, atención , ambiente todo perfecto. Muy recomendable!!! Volvería siempre!
