I loved the location, the vibe and the organisation of hostel. It felt like home with strangers that become big family for a while. Best hostel :)

L'emplacement est superbe dans un port au calme, prévoir une voiture pour se déplacer c'est plus facile!..... Le lieu favorise les rencontres et même avec un petit anglais pour moi c'était très sympa de partager nos expériences avec les autres pensionnaires!...

Que certains pensionnaires ne jouent pas le jeu de la collectivité en laissant des plats sales ou des aliments périmés au frigo!.... Dommage!..

un ostello un po' cozy, un ambiente un po' "surreale" rispetto a quanto trovato in giro per la Norvegia cabina molto grossa, un po' "incasinata" ma alla fine pulita e con letti confortevoli un ostello di altri tempi, quasi stile nepalese reception ok, cordiale e simpatico hanno sauna extra con possibilità di tuffo nel mare noleggio sup tranquillo e silenzioso, vista mare letti ok, lenzuola molto pulite, asciugamani puliti

un po' old style, non per gli schizzinosi

Abbiamo soggiornato nel bungalow vista mare, il bungalow e gli spazi comuni sono molto accoglienti e ben curati. Ambiente giovanile e tranquillo. Consigliato sia per brevi soste che come punto di appoggio.

Die beiden Gemeinschaftsräume sind mega gemütlich und laden zum Beisammensein ein. Die Lage am Wasser ist sehr schön und es stehen viele Möglichkeiten mit Sup's und Ruderbooten bereit, um etwas an diesem sonst eher verlassenen Ort zu tun.

Alles war top, einzig der Preis für ein Hostel mit 52€ fand ich etwas teuer.

Welcoming staff and possible to take a small barque out to sea for free or paddleboards. The sauna is also pretty nice as you can go and dip in the water which is very fun

The kitchen in the bottom floor could be a bit cleaner, the one at the top floor much nicer. Generally the furniture is a bit old but everything works

Such a pretty hostel, located right on the water. Great facilities big kitchen. Sauna available to use and cold plunge in sea right there. Easy access via hurtinger ferry

The refrigerator had a horrific smell of old fish that made the whole room stink.

C’est un super endroit, une auberge de jeunesse hors du temps, l’emplacement est magique,

malheureusement beaucoup trop cher pour les couples qui veulent être dans une cabane Rorbuer : c’est le prix d’un hébergement de bon niveau (>200€ la nuit!!!) pour avoir les « services » du Youth Hostal: toilettes ext partagées ds un autre bâtiment, douches communes sous forme de pièce à glisser pour 4 minutes d’eau, et ds la cabane cuisine sommaire peu engageante, et un confort minime sans échelle non plus pour accéder au lit superposée, bref le rapport qualité prix est mauvais . On a fait bcp de Hostal ds notre vie et pour ce confort on payait 30-40€ dans des pays au niveau de vie similaires, 200€ aux Lofoten nous semble très très excessif pour un tel type d’hébergement ! A part ça si le prix était correct c’est vraiment un endroit magique qu on recommande chaleureusement ! On reviendra mais pas en Rorbuer !

Henkilökunta todella mukavia ja palvelualttiita. Oma pieni mökki oli mukava. Tarjolla oli paljon aktiviteetteja ilmaiseksi käytettävissä

Polku mökkiin oli erittäin vaarallinen sateisella kelillä. Mutavelliä, jossa helposti liukastui.

Buenas instalaciones, ambiente tranquilo. Las personas que nos recibieron fueron todas muy amables, incluso nos hablaron en español. Apto para nuestro hijo de 4 años.

Es ist einfach und zweckmässig eingerichtet und etwas veraltet aber dafür mit viel Charme.

L'emplacement et l'accueil

Les oreillers et couettes sentent la sueur. Même avec les housses, l'odeur est très présente. La cuisine commune est sale avec la bouilloire posée à même le sol. Salle d'eau commune très vétuste qui mérite une rénovation. Eau à peine tiède. Rapport qualité prix très médiocre.

Supertolle Community, man fühlt sich direkt wie zuhause. Habe dort 3 Tage verbracht und auf meiner Bikepacking Tour den Regen dort ausgesessen. Würde jederzeit wieder kommen!

Asukoht, atmosfäär.

Toas ei olnud nagi kuhu riideid riputada, ühes valgustis puudus valgusallikas. Üldkasutatavate ruumide koristus võiks toimuda mitte nö tipptunnil.

Ottima e incantevole posizione, l'hostel è situato sul pontile di una caletta, ha un supermercato e un distributore a cento metri, un altro supermercato ad un km. Cucina principale spaziosa e ben attrezzata, c'è ne sono varie. Sala tv/giochi accogliente. Fare attenzione al fatto che non ci sono ristoranti/pub nelle vicinanze quindi bisogna fare la spesa per cucinare, la birra nei supermercati viene venduta sino alle 20 durante la settimana, sino alle 18 il sabato e non viene venduta la domenica, queste regole son valide in tutta la Norvegia.

Il WI-FI funziona solo nella sala tv/giochi. La camerata in cui ho dormito poco spaziosa per sei letti.

La struttura è molto ampia, noi eravamo nell'edificio più grande: tanti ospiti con pochissimi servizi quindi code per il bagno e per cucinare. I bagni sono vecchissimi, la cucina cade letteralmente a pezzi. Cattivo odore nelle scale. È l'unico ostello in cui cose necessarie come asciugamani e docce sono a pagamento....

There is something magical. Once you feel it, you cant resist going there every year. There is sense for community, I love the slow living. See you soon.

Зависока ціна за ці умови, душ навіть похвилинно і за гроші. Сильний запах з кухні, чути всю ніч як хтось кудись ходить.

Everything about Stamsund hostel is great. The location on the dock, cozy and very clean rooms, lots of common areas, fully equipped kitchen, etc. There is a sauna for an extra fee of 150nok and it is totally amazing. The view over the fjord is beautiful and you can also do a quick dip in the water there. What makes it special is the energy of the people who work and stay there. You will always find someone to talk to, make some plans or do activities together. And there are nice hikes available just by the hostel.

Bicycles they offer are quite old and not suitable for long distances. But if you want to explore the roads around, they would do:) If you're travelling without a car, the bus schedules may be tricky as the last bus from Leknes departs at 18-30 and it gets worse over the weekend. However, I've had no problems with hitchhiking or scheduling my plans around the bus schedules.

La struttura è originale ed efficiente, un mix di creatività e funzionalità in una posizione mozzafiato. Lo staff è accogliente e attento ad ogni necessità.

L'accueil, le personnel très sympathique et à l'écoute. L'emplacement et l'ambiance décontractée. Le prix abordable pour la Norvège.

Les équipements pas toujours très fonctionnels et insuffisants surtout quand l'hébergement accueille des groupes.

Absolutely nothing

Un grand dortoir avec table et espaces pour tous. Cuisine et grande salle pour partager repas ou discussions. Personnel agréable et à disposition pour nous renseigner. Petit supermarché à 5min à pied. Petit étang à proximité.

Grei størrelse på hytte, og hyggelig området.

Skittent gulv og kjøleskap. Søppel løsningen v/parkering luktet forferdelig og var full av larver.

Good facilities and staff. Great bunch of people.

The staff was friendly and always helpful. It's a nice hostel for a reasonable price, with a small grocery store nearby, free activities, and in a peaceful location near a few hiking trails. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it! It's a good base for day trips to visit other places in Lofoten, and the bus from Leknes also goes right by the hostel.

The dorm beds could use a ladder to get into the top bunk and maybe some lockers to safely store belongings.

Really cozy hostel and nice vibes. The cottage was big and cozy as well. The owner very kindly upgraded us to a bigger cottage

The fridge was not really functional, kept switching off which led to some unpleasant smells. The cleaning level in general was a bit lacking. Seems expensive for what it is but thats Norway :-)
