Quite remote need a car to get anywhere, 30 mins from nearest supermarket but if you prep and think ahead

Reviewed Oct 8, 2025We absolutely loved staying at this cottage. Located in the middle of Kerry surrounded by farms. The owner lives close by so on hand if you need anything. If you are looking to experience true Ireland then I would recommend staying here. The locals get together to play live music at the The Villa pub in Waterville, not too far from the cottage, (this was one of the highlights of our Irish holiday).

Reviewed Jun 23, 2024Superb location if you like to be quiet and surrounded by beautiful countryside. View of the lake and mountains from the lovely cottage. The owner lived close by and came to introduce herself soon after we arrived, she called the following day to check that everything was ok. There was everything in the kitchen we needed, cleaning equipment and basics in the cupboards.
The TV wasn't working whilst we stayed there, but we were happy reading.

Reviewed Jun 3, 2024The property is lovely and cozy with an amazing view. Its a traditional Irish house with lovely fireplaces. Lovely and remote but exactly what we were looking for. Waterville is only 20min away if you need something from the shop. The host was lovely and made check in very easy.

Reviewed Apr 18, 2024Beautiful cottage with lovely view on the mountain lake. Real experience of old Irish cottage, but it was nice , warm and cosy inside. Three bedrooms upstairs, more than enough for family of five, for few days. Spacefull eating room, beside little kitchen. And separate living room with TV. Wifi and movies were provided for bad weather.
