We were going to be late so I phoned ahead and Wai explained the office closed at 8 but that she would set the unit up as i had prepaid. Wai texted me my unit number. The unit was warm (heat pump was on) milk in the fridge. The unit was absolutely spotless and a reasonale price. I recommended it to my whănau and will definitely stay there again.

The only downside was fragrance in the room. Unless it is an oil in a diffuser I find synthetic fragrances highly irritating. The room was so clean I would have preferred it to just smell fresh with no fragrance.

There is nothing to not like

Friendly staff. Place was clean and comfy and my child (2) enjoyed the trampoline and swing.

Couldn’t figure out how to get normal free view TV however this was such a minor issue compared to the stay as a whole.

Not many pots to choose from to cook with. Cooking utensils were the same.

Kids loved it, was only an overnight as they had cadets but they sure loved it there.

Perfect accommodation for my boys and I, good size rooms, clean and everything we needed in them, playground area for the kids to play out side and awesome staff.

Tiny worn items but nothing that affects the stay

The staff when greeted at reception and upon leaving. They were very polite and friendly. The location as the event we attended was only up the road. It was the main reason why I chose this motel. Upon arriving, the motel grounds were lovely and tidy. The room was tidy and cute. There was access to a play area for the kids. A laundromat also available. There were two rooms; 1 had a double bed and the other had two single beds. There was a bed and a sofa bed in the lounge. It accommodated all of us. The kitchenette area was good. I liked the layout of the room.

The first thing I noticed was the smell of the room. It must be a product you're using as it didn't agree with us so I had to purchase a room spray to mask it. A couple of the kitchen drawers and the bottom tray on the fridge door were not cleaned. The fridge leaked. There were cobwebs above the inside of the doorway entrance and in the corner of the bed in the lounge area. The beds were lumpy, found a sock under a bed in the single bed bedroom. I thought it belonged to my nephew but he said it wasn't his. The width of all the curtains were too short and didn't stretch from side to side. They also had stains on them. I had to put the cushion of the sofa seat up against the section that was exposed to maintain privacy. It was either that side or exposing the bed from opening of the sliding door entrance side. Need new curtains. The heat pump had auto, cool or dry - when trying to regulate heating - it only worked on auto which didn't allow you to manipulate the fan or direction. It was either too cold or too hot Room didn't have a phone to reception. The folder may need updating as it had a Xmas notice inside it. There was no ironing board and iron in the room. The TVs weren't smart TVs (maybe a minor but would help for screencasting etc by adding a google chrome cast).

Customer service was great, I felt welcome when we arrived a bit later than what we said. The room was perfect, it was heated when we entered, spacious for 2, well lit and very clean & tidy. Loved the shower, it had the right temp and pressure. Parking space was also great. Good proximity to shops and 5 min drive to town centre. Overall we loved staying here.

After a shower, the bathroom floor can get a little slippery. You have to dry the floor and the bathmat might not be enough. The bed was comfy but too soft for me & hubby who prefer more of a firmer mattress.

Amazing stay! The hosts are so wonderful and so helpful. The rooms are spacious and maintained daily, with all the amenities we required! Super clean and comfortable, loved our stay here!

It was very clean and gave homely feeling. You could feel the love and care put into the property. Chris and Ruth- the hosts- were very friendly and made a point to having a chat despite their busy schedule.

The bed I was using had a broken spring which was a little bother but not uncomfortable.

As soon as we arrived, it was friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean, with awesome cooking space. Comfortable beds and spacious bathroom.

The cleanliness, the love which has been put in looking after the property was felt. It was very well kept. And Chris and Ruth are amazing hosts who take out their time from their busy schedule to have a chat with you.

Room was renovated and cleaned daily plenty of towels etc in bathroom air con having full fridge/freezer and oven

hot tap in kitchen sink needed washer changed, took a bit to turn it off i took own kitchen clothes for coffee machine and the cleaners took them by mistake shower floor board was starting to rot out this was in unit one
