Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Rauhallinen sijainti, sopii hyvin autoileville. En nähnyt vuokranantajaa kertaakaan, mutta hän vastasi hyvin viesteihin. Asunto oli vanha, mutta siisti ja toimiva. Huone oli tilava.
Aamupala oli monipuolinen, mutta valmiiksi laitettu setti, jota ei voinut itse päättää. Jääkaappi oli yhteinen ja tosi pieni. Jaettu olohuone ja kylpyhuone toimi, mutta ei ehkä itselle mieluinen.

Aamupala oli hyvin suppea eikä vastannut kuvausta. Tarjolla oli edellisenä päivänä täytetty ja pakattu leipä, pillimehu sekä muffinit. Kahvia sai keittää itse kahvinkeittimellä.

The hot tub and sauna were not working when I was there, which is a shame.

I tidigare recensioner nämns att boendet har eget café som serverar bl.a. pasta, men denna verksamhet har de tyvärr lagt av med.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026La maison était jolie et bien décorée. Tout était propre. La chambre était calme et confortable. Il y avait un bon choix au petit déjeuner qui était disponible à 8h30 la semaine et à 9h le week-end. Il y avait des places de parc.
La propriétaire n'était pas là pendant notre séjour. La fille qui s'occupait de l'intendance ne parlait pas anglais (elle parlait espagnol) ce qui compliquait la communication. Elle n'était pas très aimable et avait systématiquement du retard avec le petit déjeuner.

Da wir die einzigen Gäste waren war der Gastraum zum Frühstücken geschlossen und wir haben im OG Wohnzimmerbereich gefrühstückt, was ich zum Sitzen ( Sofa, tiefer Wohnzimmertisch) nicht so gemütlich fand.

It feels like a cliché, but this is a perfect place to stay. Well worth it! Even if it is a bit outside of Mariehamn. Do book here!

Reviewed Sep 2, 2025The location is peaceful, quite close to the town. The property itself is very comfortable and nice. Very clean and Valentina takes great care of it. The breakfasts were really nice and we particularly loved the apple juice from Åland. We loved the place and stay.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2025Incredible host. The place is both a B&B and café/restaurant, which was perfect for our stay. It’s right on the St. Olav Waterway. We loved the food - dinner was delicious and at the breakfast buffet is amazing. Every detail is thought of. Beds are comfortable, the place is warm, cozy and clean. We spent a long time petting the horses Béa and Kenze. Would love to come back again.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2025Cute little bed & breakfast in the countryside of Åland. There's only 3 rooms, so even you have to share the bathroom, it's not a problem. Breakfast does not have endless amount of options but local products are very good and the eggs and bacon are made personally for you, which is a nice touch. We enjoyed our stay with Valentina a lot!
The coffee maker in the breakfast was quite slow and sometimes you had to wait for coffee to be ready a while. Honestly not a lot to complain :) You need to have a car (or a bike) to get there, as it is in the countryside.

Aamupala oli hyvä, tarjolla oli paikallisia tuotteita. Villa sijaitsee maaseudulla n. 15 min päästä Maarianhaminan keskustasta. Ikkunoista pystyi ihailemaan Villan kahta hevosta ja kissa kävi välillä tervehtimässä.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2025I accidentally made a booking without noticing that children under one year old were not allowed. However, I clearly mentioned our baby in the booking message. The host accepted the reservation — seem like just to collect the money — and only after that sent a message saying we were not welcome. When I tried to resolve the situation, the host communicated with broken English, was arrogant, and showed no willingness to help. They took no responsibility — first blaming Booking.com, then me. It was clear they have no ability to handle conflicts professionally. Booking.com tried to assist and offered the host the option to cancel right after the booking. The host refused. We’re now trying to stop the payment with the bank, but it’s still unclear whether that will be possible. Word of warning: avoid getting into a conflict with this host — they are not equipped to handle it.

Reviewed Jul 26, 2025what we like most was the warm welcome from the owner with a bonus that we could have a nice chat in Spanish, the relaxed and homey atmosphere of the place, the breakfast with local products, the wonderful italian dinner in the garden and the special treatment for our dog.
It was a specially warm day and the room didn't have any air conditioning so it was difficult to sleep.

Reviewed Jul 26, 2025Siisti, rauhallinen maalaismiljöö. Pihalla hevosia. Runsas aamiainen. Pekonia ja munakokkeli tehtiin tilauksesta (samaan hintaan). Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Pihalla hyvin parkkitilaa. Vieraiden käytössä on pieni jääkaappi, kylpyhuoneessa pesutuotteita ja fööni sekä muita hygieniatuotteita. Halutessaan voi varata myös saunan ja paljun. Pihalla oli paljon pieniä istuinryhmiä joissa viettää aikaa.
Helteiden takia huoneessa oli kuuma ja ainakaan meidän huoneestamme ei löytynyt tuuletinta. Kyseessä on tavallinen omakotitalo, joten äänieristys huoneissa ei ole kovin hyvä. Ikkunoissa olisi hyvä olla hyttysverkot. Aamiaiselle olisi kaivannut vähemmän valinnanvaraa ja enemmän itsetehtyjä tuotteita, mutta aamiainen oli tästä huolimatta hyvä. Huonejako värien perusteella on hauska idea, mutta olisi selkeämpää, että huoneissa olisi numerot. Oma huone pitää tunnistaa värin perusteella ja väri tarkistaa varauksessa näkyvistä kuvista (huoneen seinien väri). Jos saapuu paikalle henkilökunnan paikallaollessa, niin tämä ei liene ongelma.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2025Kiva vanha talo sopivalla paikalla meidän pyöräreitin varrella. Oma huone, jossa erittäin hyvät sängyt. Yhteiset suihku ja wc-tilat muiden majoittujien kanssa. Huoneita oli yhteensä 3. Aamupala kuului hintaan ja oli hyvä. Emme tällä kertaa maistelleet majapaikan muita ruokia.
Suihkukoppi ei ollut mieleen. Vanha talo, joten äänet toisista huoneista kuuluvat. Muuten ei moitteen sanaa.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2025Puusta rakennettu vanha talo, jolla erinomainen sijainti maalaismaisemassa, rauhallisuus, erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta, iso huone, erinomainen vuode takasi hyvät yöunet ja hyvä aamiainen. Oikeastaan kaikki, mitä B&B-majoitukselta voi vaatia. Vain kolme vierashuonetta, joten helppo tutustua myös muihin majoittujiin.
Ei mitään valitettavaa, mutta joku voi vierastaa huoneiden yhteistä suihku-WC-tilaa. Myös ilmastoinnin puute voi helteillä aiheuttaa tukaluutta. Nyt sää oli viileä, joten mitään ongelmaa ei tässä suhteessa ollut. Huoneissa ei ole radiota tai televisiota, joita joku voi kaivata. TV löytyy kuitenkin heti huoneen oven takana olevassa yhteisessä olohuoneessa.

Egentligen inget men i fortsättningen kommer jag nog att välja hotell med tanke på att jag vill ha egen toa och tv på rummet.

Reviewed Jun 25, 2025Sängyt olivat todella mukavat nukkua, peitto pehmeä ja huone pimeä. Huone oli tilava ja kaunis. Aamiainen oli vertaansa vailla! Maukasta ja kaunista. Kahvila oli auki myös, se oli kiva yllätys.
Naapurihuoneen ja talon muutkin äänet kuuluvat huoneeseen.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2025Der Hof liegt in der Natur, es gibt neugierige Pferde und eine schmusige Katze. Die Zimmer sind schön groß und kreativ eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist fantastisch und Valentina versucht auf die Wünsche ihrer Gäste einzugehen. Wenn sie Abendessen anbietet, nehmt es, sie kocht wunderbar! Ich war sehr gerne dort.

Reviewed May 29, 2025Viihtyisä huone ja ympäristö ylipäätään, hyvä sijainti aivan näyttelypaikan läheisyydessä. Autopaikat pihassa. Kodikas. Ystävällinen henkilökunta, pienistä kieliongelmista huolimatta asiat hoituivat mukavasti. Koirat tervetulleita, lisämaksu kohtuullinen. Hiukan tutkimalla löytyi kivoja ulkoilutusreittejäkin. Erinomainen aamiainen, illallistakin saatiin aivan pyytämättä 🥰👍
Yksi WC ja suihku per 3 huonetta, ruuhkaa voi tulla jos kaikilla sama aikataulu. Huoneessa saisi olla enemmän laskutilaa, esim. nojatuoli/sohva/pöytä. Koirista piti vielä erikseen maksaa käteisellä 100e takuuraha, jonka sai toki lähtiessä takaisin. Tälle lienee syynsä, mutta harvemmin ollaan tällaiseen törmätty.

Reviewed May 5, 2025Posto fantastico in mezzo alla natura! La proprietaria è molto gentile, disponibile e fa il massimo per farti sentire a casa (con successo!). Ci sono tre stanze con un bagno in comune e una zona "living" ben attrezzata: piccolo frigorifero, tv, divano, acqua sempre disponibile, caffè e microonde. Ottima colazione, varia. Ed è anche possibile fermarsi per cena. Durante il soggiorno abbiamo goduto della compagnia di due cavalli e un gatto; dalla finestra abbiamo anche avvistato dei caprioli. Siamo stati ad aprile ma penso che a luglio le isole diano il loro meglio :)
