Reviewed Jun 29, 2026It's a great little house. Very warm and comfortable with everything you need. Love being able to have the dog there. Very well priced. When we arrived the heat pump had been turned on and it was lovely and cosy - so nice after a days' winter hiking in Victoria Forest Park. Loads of dog friendly hiking in and around Reefton. Lovely hot shower.

Being that it’s Reefton and the west coast is known for heavy rain, some sort of carport would have been great. We got very wet trying to load the truck but this is only a suggestion NOT a complaint.

Reviewed May 28, 2026Very comfortable place to stay, but the owner could have waited until we had left in the morning before coming in with a tradesperson to measure some windows...! If you offer the accommodation until 10am, organise a tradesman after 10am, not well before!

Reviewed May 15, 2026Lovely warm comfy private place to stay . Beautiful bed and so nice to have a comfortable lounge . Excellent communication with hosts. Highly recommend.
Nothing - only would suggest a dryer if I was pushed for an answer as we chose not to wash in case items didn’t dry - however their is a laundromat facility just up the road so it’s not really an issue :)
