Leider kommt man nicht direkt an das Hotel, sondern muss erst im Parkhaus parken. Toiletten Deckel Rutsche immer hin und her und löste sich ganz, haben mehrmals Bescheid gesagt aber es tat sich nichts. Auch das Frühstück war nichts besonderes.

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026Lived up to boutique name. Was very cool, all the details and small furniture was lovely . Our room was very cool, roof was different in a good way. Parking around the corner in a paid lot, staff were very helpful in regards to getting you parking.
Bathroom was a bit meh. Breakfast was a bit boring, it is continental style.

Reviewed May 24, 2026Das Byzantino Hotel macht mit seinem Einrichtungsstil seinen Namen alle Ehre. Man hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben, dass Einrichtungskonzept von der Lobby, über den Frühstücksraum, Hotelfluren und den Zimmereinrichtungen durchzuziehen. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer im Nebenhaus des Hotels. Die Lage des Hotels ist im Zentrum und man kann in den Gassen bummeln und shoppen. Es gibt auch sehr viele Caffes und Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten von Patras sind zu Fuß erreichbar.
Leider hat die zentrale Lage aber auch seine Nachteile. In den Gassen rund um das Hotel liegt das „Partyviertel“, das heißt Nachts war es nie vor 4 Uhr in der Früh ruhig. Wir waren im April da, im Sommer könnte sich das noch verschlimmern. Negativ ist noch zu erwähnen, dass das Hotel recht lieblos vom Personal geleitet wird und die moderne elektronische Anzeige an der jeweiligen Zimmertür nicht funktionierte, so dass man die tägliche Zimmerreinigung mit täglichen Handtuchwechsel nicht abbestellen konnte. Das ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Das Frühstück hatte einen kleinen Warmanteil, beschränkte sich aber sonst nur auf`s Wesentliche.

Alles sehr lieblos und einfallslos, kein geschnittenes Obst, oder wenigstens Obst aus der Dose, die Wurstscheiben hatten schon gewellte Ränder, insgesamt wenig anderes, gab auch 3 Sorten Eier, was gut war, dafür nur eine Sorte Brot und das war Toast aus der Packung!

Reviewed Jan 2, 2026L'hôtel est situé en plein coeur de la vaste zone commerciale où se regroupent tous les restaurants et les boutiques. Heureusement que la chambre donnait côté cour !
Les 4 étoiles visibles dès l'entrée ne sont absolument PAS méritées. La décoration et le mobilier sont très datés. Le style se veut "antique" et baroque. Mais le mobilier et les équipements donnent plutôt l'impression d'un retour aux années 80. Quelques exemples de choses absolument rédhibitoires : - un parquet flottant... qui flotte littéralement au-dessus du sol - des joints noircis dans la salle de bains - des éléments de mobilier manquants laissant apparaître des arêtes dangereuses - un sol de douche bombé qui peut provoquer des chutes Le petit-déjeuner est très basique. L'accueil réservé par la réceptionniste au moment de l'enregistrement fut tout juste cordial. Aucun mot sympa pour demander si nous avions fait bon trajet ou pour nous recommander des sorties.

Ανακαίνιση χτες.Η τοποθεσία είναι άριστη αλλά πραγματικά είναι κρίμα να είναι τόσο εγκατελειμμένα τα δωμάτια.

The rooms need severe renovation. The bathrooms are very old and run-down, same for the floor in the entire room. Unfortunately seeing the lobby and then going to the rooms is like visiting two completely different hotels.
