We had a long day of travel and arrived late evening and found we had to make the beds. The only one of 4 different apartments in Norway where this was required.

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026Fin, modern och bekväm lägenhet med stor kyl och frys. Härliga badrum med golvvärme och riktigt bra dusch. Underbart med stora fönster i kök/vardagsrum där man kunde njuta av den vackra utsikten.
När man betalar 1600 NOK i städavgift förväntar man sig en mer välstädad lägenhet. Nu var det dammigt och hårstrån i ena badrummet, oputsade fönster i vardagsrummet och vi fick börja vistelsen med att tömma diskmaskinen och diska om en del som inte var rent. Lite problem att hitta rätt lägenhet vid ankomst eftersom numret inte stod vid entrédörren.

Reviewed May 19, 2026New and well presented. Cute decor. Good facilities - coffee machine, washing machine. Lovely views.
The bedrooms are tiny (beds comfy) and no room for suitcases. Room for a suitcase can be made in entrance to apartment by moving the shoe rack. The only property we have ever been to that you have to make your own bed! They left clean sheets/duvet covers on the end of the beds.

unica nota negativa segnalata anche da altri utenti é il pochissimo quasi inesistente spazio per riporre valigie e indumenti… se dovete soggiornare per una settimana sarete costretti a riporre i vestiti sempre in valigia.! consiglio di apporre un armadio anche scoperto all’ingresso o una scaffalatura appesa nelle camere

Le stationnement près des appartements est un peu chaotique. Nous aurions apprécié avoir un grille -pain. Il nous manquait un ou deux linges pour la cuisine

Reviewed Sep 17, 2025Right on the water, corner unit so it was more private. Two bathrooms, which are so nice when you travel with friends. Very comfortable and nicely decorated apartment. The town was charming and it was a perfect spot to get in some hiking in the area.
No where to put your clothes -sort of living out of a suitcase. We pushed the large bed to the wall for floor space for clothes and in the room with two beds, our friend used one bed for her clothes. So we made it work. We were there for 4-5 days I think, so extended stays can be hard with lots of clothes.

Reviewed Aug 1, 2025View and the fact it was right on the water. Could walk to town as well. Well equipped apartment and perfect for us. Staff was helpful, especially when I couldn’t figure out how to get in at first. Loved it!
Parking was interesting. Not a lot of room for a car and winding around other cars is a concern. Also, this is not the property’s fault, but Henningsvær is hard to drive through due to narrow roads and lots of people. You had to drive through the town to get to the place and in the midday, was very difficult. But the place itself is great!

Reviewed Aug 25, 2024Beautiful view from floor to ceiling windows in living room. Great location. Henningsvaer is a terrific base for exploring Lofoten. Comfortable beds, great shower pressure. Well appointed kitchen. Perfect for our family of 4.
The apartment is lovely with contemporary design; it would have been helpful to have drawers or shelves to keep our things orderly. There is a washing machine which was great after rainy day hiking - it would be helpful to have a drying rack. It was a unusual that we had to make up the beds ourselves - a small inconvenience. These are all minor notes. I would stay at this property again.

Upon check-in, the bed sheets and covers were all thrown onto the bed without being properly tucked in. There were black stains on the sheets that looked like they had been stepped on by shoes.
