La amabilidad de la dueña al recibirnos y ponernos todo a disposición. Tenía opción de alquilarnos sus bicis por lo que se nos hizo muy cómodo movernos por la ciudad. La habitación era muy grande, la cama comodísima y todo fue genial.

It was my first time in Eindhoven attending the Art Department Playgrounds. Such and amazing and inspiring experience.  The accommodation took care of everything I needed to feel welcomed. From renting a bike to an energetic breakfast. You are in the city center in less than 15 mins cycling. Very pleased. I'm sure I'll come back. There's a nice pathway nearby. If you need some peace, don't overlook that. Carolien is the best!

Really lovely quiet location perfect for my Auntie. She biked back and forth to town which you could rent. Carolien is the loveliest host.

The only thing she said was not to her preference was the bed. It was too soft for her.

I stayed for two weeks and spent a lot of time on the property working remotely. It was a very pleasant experience - the absolute quiet, you can open windows to a fresh air, climate control easily handles the small room to make the temperature exactly as you want. There is a massage cabinet on the floor, and you can sometimes hear clients coming or leaving, like for a minute, but never any noises from the inside. Everything was very clean and cleaned regularly, looks like in the photos. The host is nice and friendly. For its price, the room far exceeded the expectations.

Wij hebben vooral de volgende zaken erg geapprecieerd: de vriendelijkheid en heel grote flexibiliteit qua tijdstip van inchecken en uitchecken van de gastvrouw, de zeer goede bedden, de moderne badkamer, de absolute rust/ stilte en ruimte, de gratis parkeermogelijkheid vlakbij op de openbare weg, de comfortabele huurfietsen, de koffie- en theemogelijkheden, de Netflix en last but not least de hond des huizes Guinness 🥰

Persoonlijk verkiezen wij om allergieredenen een andere vloerbekleding dan het vast tapijt dat er nu ligt en ook iets dikkere hoofdkussens waren fijn geweest.

Peaceful, serene area with an amazing forest 100m away! Great for hiking. Clean, quiet, spacious room, comfortable bed, clean private bathroom, unlimited free coffee anytime of the day or night. There is a bus stop 100m from the De Heidestroper to Eindhoven centre, but the bus no 12 runs until 18.00 and it's not very frequent. But there are other buses that go to the centre about 15 min walk. Carolien (the owner) is the sweetest and she lives on the ground floor. Totally recommend staying there! 😄

I didn't like the fact that I couldn't stay longer!

Zowel de kamer als de badkamer waren heel ruim opgezet, er was airco en ruim aanbod voor thee/koffie of een drankje. De bedden liggen heerlijk en in de badkamer was alles aanwezig, zelfs douchegel, shampoo etc. Alles zag er netjes en verzorgd uit in passende stijl. Het ontbijt was royaal en voldeed volledig aan onze wensen. De kamer is 's nachts goed donker en het is heel rustig. Ondanks dat ik er zelf helaas niet aan toegekomen ben was er de mogelijkheid om een massage te boeken! Op de laatste ochtend nog een heerlijke wandeling gemaakt in het natuurgebied aangrenzend aan de achtertuin. Al met al een topverblijf!

It was an enjoyable stay in this place. The room was large, air-conditioned, and well-equipped (the room was located on the first floor). The bed was very comfortable. WiFi worked very fast, and Netflix was available on the TV. Shared kitchen and fridge. The property is located in a quiet area, in the south of Eindhoven. You will easily find a parking place for your car. There is also a bus stop nearby. The host was very nice and always helpful.

Everything was perfect.

Lovely hostess, very helpful and welcoming. Place was quiet, clean, comfortable and had all basic necessities in place. Room even has an AC for very warm days, and a small tv if you need one. Gorgeous forest area right behind the property which is great for morning walks. The neighbourhood is safe, quiet and neat, just what i wanted for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was nice and simple - coffee, milk, muesli, honey and some local bread.

While the place is quite close to a bus station and relatively close to the central train station, transport options on weekends or late nights can be limited, so you may need to hire a car or rent a bicycle (super bicycle friendly town, and it's great to cycle around - a bicycle can be rented from the host themselves, so it's very convenient). Also, there are 2 rooms on the same floor and if you sleep light, you might be woken up by the folks in the other room (for example, when they use the coffee machine outside etc).

I had an amazing stay! Carolien and Ellen are some of the kindest and most thoughtful hosts I’ve ever met. They made me feel truly at home. When I said I wanted to try something traditional from the Netherlands, they even made it for me — such a lovely and generous gesture! The place was extremely clean, cozy, and clearly cared for with love. I was incredibly happy with everything. If I ever come back to the Netherlands, I’ll definitely visit them again. Highly recommended!

All the comforts of a hotel in a quiet suburb. Dishes were cleaned by the host, there were fresh towels delivered every other day, good shower, comfy bathroom with 2 sinks, comfortable bed with different pillows to suit all styles. Snacks and coffee on the house. Quiet neighborhood. Free high speed internet and Netflix guest account.

The area where the hotel is located always has a calm and peaceful atmosphere. It's perfect for those who want to relax and forget the hustle and bustle of city life while staying close to nature. Yet, the city center is just a 15-minute bike ride away, so there's no inconvenience at all. What truly makes this place special is the host. I wouldn’t be exaggerating if I said she is one of the kindest women in the Netherlands. I was completely satisfied with everything she did, and I would honestly choose this hotel again just to see her. Be sure to rent a bicycle during your stay—just a short ride around the area will make you fall in love with the Netherlands all over again. You’ll even come across adorable cows and ducks along the way. As a Japanese guest, I was also pleasantly surprised to find a Japanese painting displayed in the room. It made me feel warmly welcomed. I was also really happy when she recognized me and kindly said hello when we happened to run into each other at the supermarket.

Spotless, everything I needed for my trip. Peaceful location. Carolien, owner, very friendly and went out of her way to give me a lift when public transport was unavailable.

Loved the room and the overall facilities, which included a good pantry for coffee/tea and incidentals. This is a house converted into a B&B on the 1st floor with the host, Carolein, staying on the ground floor. Carolein, was very friendly and was responsive to all our questions. She also prepared a nice breakfast. Would love to stay here again!

The location was easily reachable by bus. The place was impecable and Carolien was a delighful host. There were bikes available for rent, super practical, and the breakfast was very local and delicious. Overall had a great time, will deffinitely stay again there if I'm at Eindhoven again.

Our room was spacious, furnished like a small studio flat, with comfortable furniture and nicely decorated. The en-suite bathroom was spacious as well, modern and smart, with a walk-in shower and double wash basins.

We were unlucky to share the house with noisy guests in the room opposite. The "kitchenette" is on the landing and lacks a sink, so the arrangements for cleaning up are rudimentary. We didn't find the towels and pillows as comfortable as you usually find at this price point. There actually isn't any parking; the house lies in a narrow cul-de-sac and you have to park on the main street.
