Awesome villa to stay in Matheran (Neral), The property, staff,food, facilities, pool,view, and the most important thing I've liked is the owner's good and positive nature.

The property is surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges. The interiors are decent and modernly done. The kitchen has microwave and cutlery for large groups. The rooms are good and a/c in two rooms work absolutely great. Above all, the host Mr. Hassan was very supportive and helps whenever required. All in all a great experience.

Even though the location is surrounded by good mountain ranges, the location is a remote and has few abandoned properties here and there. There is no a/c in the hall and may get a little hot and stuffy. As the property is in the wilderness, too many insects roam around the house.

The property was very clean and we have a very comfortable stay. The property was surrounded by the natural beauty. All the amenities were very good. The owner is very good and helpful. He helped us to planned our whole iteanrry.

The place has a great backdrop of mountains and hills. It's in a quiet neighborhood. The management is very responsive and helpful when needed. They have caretakers who are very friendly and helpful. Spacious and well lit. The terrace upstairs is pretty neat and adds to the charm.

The road leading to the villa could use some improvement, but that is the govt. Work. Nothing to complain about the management.

This Palmquist Villa beautiful live that place and that was amazing 👏. This house give us our group friend heart warming... this house had indoor game and everything facilities. We are great wonderful day.

Owner is very very kind man. This villa has everything you need(even fire extinguisher 😂). Care taking guy is also very kind. Very clean and sanitized villa. Loved the stay.

Very nice place

Terrace was a pleasant place in the evening, good homely feel. Fridge, microwave and water filter were clean and functional. Unfortunately, the LPG cylinder had to be changed which the owner was ready to do- but it was festival time and we were staying just for a few hours- so didn't trouble him. But he arranged for an excellent, delicious dinner with all the extras. It was simple, wholesome and just right quantity. Just like home food. The terrace had seating and a table which made our dinner even more enjoyable.

1 bedroom had cigarette smoke leftover- it was unpleasant to sleep with the smoke smell, local transport is a challenge- better to have your own vehicle

Helpful caretaker. Prop owner answers every request really quickly. The villa is not really close to any restaurants, so owner offered to arrange meals for us. The villa itself is pretty clean and comfortable.

Location on a Booking map is wrong. Villa is 2.5km away from railway station (about 35min by feet). But you can find correct location on google maps.

The host picked us up at the railway station and organised a riksha back to there in the morning - excellent service! Also he organised dinner for us in the evening. The caretaker Mr Ravi is always around in case of help needed. The location is good for walks in the nearby village/nature. During monsoon, there should be plenty of waterfalls close by.

We chose the accommodation initially because it was indicated as next to the railway station here on the booking. com map. Well this is not the case, it is 2.5km away, so not in a walking distance as initially thought. Luckily the owner informed us prior to our arrival and organised a pickup. However, the location indicated here is misleading if you are searching for only an overnight stay between 2 train connections. Regarding the accommodation itself: There were no bedsheets and the ones we found in the wardrobe were full of stains which was quite disgusting (see picture). The towels consist of small, thin tissues which do not dry you but rather leave lints on the body. There are 2 bathrooms (Indian + Western), unfortunately the Western toilet was not cleaned, traces of the user before were visible. The owner is somewhat pushy about leaving good reviews to boost his business.

Ü house is large and comfortable in a very quiet location. The owner is most hospitable and sees to your every need. As a guest you are offered the use - beside the bedroom with very good a/c and bathroom - of the large kitchen including crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, a spacious living room and a large roof top patio. The only improvement I would suggest are thicker, water absorbent bath towels. All in all, I highly recommend this accommodation. An extra benefit we enjoyed was that the host organised a three day car tour with a very good guide/driver who drove us to Lonovala with its buddhist Karla and Bhaja Caves, Raigad Fort, Brababgad Fort, Mahabaleshvar, Pune City Center and Aga Khan Palace, Shivneri Fort and Lenyadri Cave Temples.

Everything was very well maintained Mr Hassan was continuously in touch and always responsive to all queries. Villa has all required amenities and things. Caretaker Ravi is really kind and is always available for help Overall 10/10 stay

The villa is very affordable and it is exactly how it looks in the picture. It is a great place to relax with your friends and family. The caretaker is very helpful and is always ready to accommodate your requests. Owner of the villa is also very transparent and professional.

Water pressure in washrooms could have been better.

Villa has all the amenities and the owner is super cooperative. Perfect for a group of friends for parties or just for a weekend outing.

Climate was not in our favor during my time of visit but it is nothing to do with the villa
