Liked the ambience and breakfast, pool and steam bath

Noise till late at night plus those soft mattresses(actually a personal issue)

Full marks for the aesthetics. Amazing staff especially Manoj Rana was kind enough to do some amazing photography for us. The vibe of the bar was chique in the evening. Absolutely worth of our money and this experience will be one of those that i will remember for sure!

Food - 8.5/10 Service - 7/10 Room amenities - 5/10 , for the residence room - no hairdryer , no bathrobe , desk essential entailed a post it and a natraj pencil. Weird lighting.Inconsistent room service- bathroom mat was forgotten 1/2 times. Aesthetic and decor - 10/10 Special mention to Mr Manoj who was the only person whose service as guest welcome and informing guests about the history of the property stood out !

For a property on the Michelin guide and small luxury hotels of the world , they really need to buck up.Front desk staff has no idea about the history of the property, when asked how could I know more they were clueless.Also a certain female front desk person was very condescending and took time to understand what was on their own menu while ordering room service. The main courtyard location not informed at check in at all, also the cleaning of the courtyard occurs from 9am to 12 pm the main time guest can comfortably experience it without the heat. It’s off season in September and when they had more guests they were not able to efficiently handle breakfast service. In my eyes it’s a 3.5/5 and has lots to catch up if it wants to live upto the top properties in the country.

Letztes mal in Bikaner waren wir im Laxmi Niwas. Das Narendra Bhawan geifel mir aber viel besser, es ist kleiner, es ist persönlicher, die Zimmer sind ähnlich gross. Positiv ist auch das es recht modern eingerichtet ist. Das restaurant ist einfach lecker. Wir blieben den ganzen Tag im Hotel, Frühstück sowie Nachtessen.

Die reichen Gäste, insbesondere Indien wirken sehr arrogant.

Un hôtel absolument incroyable, installé dans un magnifique palais. Sans aucun doute, l’un de nos plus beaux hôtels durant nos trois semaines en Inde ! Tout était parfait : l’accueil, la chambre, le service, le petit-déjeuner et, surtout, un personnel aux petits soins. Le cadre est tout simplement exceptionnel, aussi bien par la beauté du lieu que par la décoration, qui contribue pleinement à l’atmosphère unique de l’établissement. L’hôtel est situé légèrement à l’écart du centre, ce qui lui permet de bénéficier d’un environnement calme et reposant. Le centre-ville reste toutefois facilement accessible en quelques minutes en voiture. Une adresse que nous avons adorée et que nous recommandons sans hésitation !

A Royal Palace with

Unterkunft in einem Palast um einen grossen Innenhof herum. Geräumige, gut klimatisiert Zimmer öffnen in den Innenhof hinein. Zimmerfenster zum öffnen. Aussicht aus Zimmer und Umgebung ist "typisch indische Wohngegend" deswegen nichts besonderes. Sehr netter Aussenbereich vor dem Hotel mit Sitzmöglichkeiten abends (Aussen-Restaurant). Umfangreiches gutes Frühstück als Buffet im Innen-Restaurant. Grosszügiger Aufenthaltsbereich und Sitzbereich im Erdgeschoss. Parkmöglichkeit nur außerhalb vom Hotel. Sehr freundliches Personal.

EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT

The ambiance and comfort transported us to another time and place that the last maharaja Narendra Bhawan would have approved of! We booked extra nights to soak it all up! Perfectly scripted service, attention to detail, great food and drinks under the stars, enough facilities to relax and unwind with your teenage children after a hectic tour of Rajasthan, comfy beds, roof top pool sunset… what more do you want? And the stunning interiors and collection at Junagarh Fort with guide Shailendra Jittu was a great history lesson into Bikaner’s past and future! We are so glad we stayed in Bikaner and it’s only just over an hour to fly to Dehli.

L'architecture de l'établissement, l'accueil exceptionnel ! la décoration le raffinement,tout est magnifique dans les moindres détails,le choix des matériaux,la restauration également de haut niveau,le fitness center,le sauna ,la piscine sur le toit,etc....petit reproche la literie un peu trop souple mais la qualité des draps en coton était magnifique

The staff were superb and very attentive. Breakfast was delicious. The property and interior is absolutely beautiful. The pool is so nice but needs more shaded areas for during the day. We also got massages there which were just wonderful. Overall we loved our stay here and would return.

Everything was immaculate- the gorgeous interior decor, the wonderful hospitality of the entire staff, the comfortable rooms with every minute detail taken into account and of course the historical nature of the property. It was truly once in a lifetime kind of experience.

Our stay at Narendra Bhawan in Bikaner was truly unforgettable. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with a unique charm that makes it stand out. What made it even more special was the warm, homely service—we genuinely felt like we were staying with family. A special thanks to Abhishek, who was incredibly kind and attentive, and to Manoj, whose constant smile and warmth made us feel so welcome every day. The team went above and beyond, even packing food for our next day’s tour, which was such a thoughtful touch. The service was simply speechless—far beyond expectations, even compared to top luxury stays. Highly recommend Narendra Bhawan for anyone looking for a memorable and heartfelt experience in Bikaner.

Hidden gem! A top extraordinary hotel. Service is outstanding, rooms and all Spaces are superlative decorated with fantastic colora and material. High class tastes and exceptional food in every restaurant. Absolutely to be suggested for a once-in-a-life Experience !

Architecture Ambiance

Front Office Staff charged us 4000 plus for a child which was fair but on return staying at the property I paid extra with Child and when we asked for an extra bed they said it will be chargeable. Which was not fair on their part. Also I had a higher category room booked but the receptiontionist told us we were being upgraded into that higher category which she realized later that we had paid for that category room.

Uns hat wirklich alles sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war toll, es gab so viel Auswahl und alles war sehr lecker. Das Personal war so freundlich und es wurde einem alles an den Tisch gebracht. Auch das Abendessen war sehr lecker und das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und es gab alles was man benötigt. Es war sauber und ruhig und das Bett bequem aber sehr weich. Die Dachterrasse mit Pool war toll, wir haben viele Stunden dort verbracht. Das einzige was fehlt sind Sonnenschirme. Der kleine Innenhof war auch super schön und gemütlich. Das Hotel ist einfach super schön und hat Charme, für mich war es mit das beste Hotel, in dem ich bisher war. Das gesamte Personal ist einfach großartig und man kann sich dort nur wohlfühlen ❤️😀

Soggiornare in questa struttura è stato un vero sogno ad occhi aperti. A parte l’estrema gentilezza e disponibilità del personale, la struttura è di una bellezza infinita. Le camere sono lussuose, complete di qualsiasi esigenza. Assolutamente consigliata!

Our stay at Narendra Bhawan was exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive and genuinely helpful from the moment we arrived. Nothing felt forced or overly formal, just thoughtful hospitality delivered with ease. The presentation of the hotel is sensational. The décor, design detail and overall ambiance create a refined and immersive experience that feels both historic and contemporary. In four trips to India, staying in a mix of four and five star hotels, this was by far the cleanest and most impeccably maintained property we have experienced. Every space felt polished, cared for and perfectly managed. The hotel’s support in helping us explore Bikaner was also outstanding. The coordination of cars and drivers was seamless, making it effortless to visit the fort and the old city without stress. The team clearly takes pride in the entire guest experience, not just the stay itself.

There was very little to fault. If anything, it would be hard to improve on what is already being delivered.

This property is simply stunning. We booked a "regimental room" but were given a free upgrade to the "republic suite" - the top category. I would have been very happy with the room we booked, but the republic suite was absolutely fantastic. Really stylish, clean and comfortable. Very good heating, which is essential in Rajasthan in January!! The hotel is a destination in itself, with history all around. The meal in "Pearls and Chiffon" was expensive by Indian standards, but exceptionally good quality and the staff were excellent. The music played on the terrace was brilliant and really added to the elegance of the place.

Dieses Hotel war mit eines der schönsten auf unserer Indienrundreise. Sehr freundliches zuvorkommendes Personal, tolle Ausstattung, die Beleuchtung am Abend einfach super, sehr sauberes Bad mit sehr guter Dusch ( nicht selbstverständlich in Indien) das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben

The hotel is a heritage property, so it's more about ambience & service than mod-cons. For example, though the interiors are kept very dark, it's fun to wander around and explore the contents of the display cases and the decor elements. Service is very good, to the standard of most Indian five-star hotels. The 2 resident golden retrievers are fabulous.

Stained floor tiles in our room and a leaky shower stall that soaked the bath mat Over-zealous reception staff who kept calling to offer taxi and tour options when we were asleep.

Un hotel magico, con un’architettura e cura dei dettagli incredibile!!! Il ristorante per cenare è la colazione sono di altissimo livello! Spero di tornarci altre volte perché è stato veramente un hotel memorabile.

L’hotel è un incanto: il palazzo antico restaurato, gli spazi comuni spettacolari, arredi, tendaggi, oggettistica, tutto progettato con raffinatezza e classe. Il personale è altamente qualificato e professionale, soprattutto lo staff della ristorazione. Ristorante di alto livello e colazione a buffet superlativa in qualità e varietà. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente.

La camera (almeno la mia che era una standard) non è all’altezza dello standard dell’hotel e non rapportata alla bellezza degli spazi comuni. É un po’ spartana e anche il bagno potrebbe essere curato meglio.

Everything was perfect, nice room, comfortable. Very good breakfast with authentic taste and very good atmosphere, lots of varieties and all are well prepared/cooked and yummy. We also enjoyed having dinner at the restaurant, very good food and nice ambience. Special mention for all the staff right from the check in till check out, everyone have smile on their face and always very attentive and helpful. I must mention the name of Yunis who was supporting with our luggage at the time of check out, I was really overwhelmed by his concern because at the time of check out around 9.30 am, it was too foggy and the visibility was almost zero. I had to drive to Jaipur airport to catch our flight to depart at 6.25 pm but Yunis requested me to wait for a couple of hours till the fog clears, since we did not had enough time so had to leave immediately. One of my best stays since long time and would surely come back again..

The hotel is absolutely stunning - from the architecture of the building to the decor and multiple personal items of the former maharaja, everything has been carefully thought to recreate the atmosfera of the palace when the maharaja still lived here. Staff and food are among the best in India.
