Great central location

Idéalement situé près du coeur de la ville de Volos et tout près du port en bord de mer. Chambres très propres, au calme, accueil soigné. Kitchenette à disposition pour ceux qui souhaitent préparer un repas.

Une des chambres est en contrebas de la rue donc seul petit bémol pour peu de luminosité dans celle-ci.

Es gab ein offenes Loch im Badezimmer Fußboden.

It was easy to find, close to everything but also a little away so it wasn't noisy.

The bathroom drain cover was missing, which was fine, just had to be careful not to stand on it/drop anything.

Προσεγμένο κ καθαρό δωμάτιο. Μικρό μεν αλλά με καλή σχέση ποιότητας-τιμής. Μην ξεχάσετε να πάρετε δικά σας είδη υγιεινής ( σαμπουάν κτλ)

Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ καλά εξοπλισμένο, βρίσκεται σε κεντρικό σημείο στον Βόλο και το παρκάρισμα ήταν εύκολο. Η επικοινωνία με τον ιδιοκτήτη ήταν επίσης εύκολη και κατατοπιστική. Θα το προτιμήσω σε μελλοντική επίσκεψη στην πόλη.

​Η επικοινωνία με τον ιδιοκτήτη ξεκίνησε με τον χειρότερο τρόπο από νωρίς το πρωί της ημέρας της κράτησης. Με κάλεσε στις 09:30, με εξαιρετικά απότομο, πιεστικό και αφιλόξενο ύφος, απαιτώντας να μάθει την ώρα άφιξής μας. Ξεκαθάρισε από την πρώτη στιγμή—με παντελή έλλειψη στοιχειώδους ευγένειας—ότι δεν πρόκειται να μπούμε ούτε λεπτό πριν την επίσημη ώρα του check-in, κάτι που μας έκανε να συμπεράνουμε ότι δεν ήταν καν προετοιμασμένος. ​Τα πράγματα όμως έγιναν πολύ χειρότερα όταν φτάσαμε: • Το δωμάτιο ήταν ένα σκοτεινό υπόγειο. • Η καθαριότητα ήταν ανύπαρκτη (φουλ βρώμικο) και η ατμόσφαιρα αποπνικτική, με έντονη μυρωδιά μούχλας και υγρασίας. • Το κλιματιστικό (AC) ήταν απογοήτευση ​Ως γυναίκα σε προχωρημένη εγκυμοσύνη (32 εβδομάδων), ήταν παντελώς αδύνατο και επικίνδυνο για την υγεία μου να μείνω σε έναν τέτοιο χώρο. ​Το πιο εξοργιστικό από όλα ήταν ότι, όταν προσπαθήσαμε να επικοινωνήσουμε μαζί του για να αναφέρουμε την κατάσταση και να ζητήσουμε λύση, ο κύριος εξαφανίστηκε. Έχουμε καταγεγραμμένο ιστορικό κλήσεων που αποδεικνύει ότι δεν σήκωνε το τηλέφωνο. ​Επίσης, μισό φταίξιμο ήταν και δικό μου, καθώς δυστυχώς δεν διάβασα ποτέ εκ των προτέρων τις απαράδεκτες κριτικές που έχει ο "κύριος ακατάλληλος". Όπως παρατήρησα μεταγενέστερα, σε όλες τις αρνητικές αξιολογήσεις απαντάει στερεότυπα ότι «το δωμάτιο είναι καινούργιο και ανακαινισμένο»—ο τύπος είναι ξεκάθαρα τρολ. ​Πρόκειται για έναν εντελώς επαγγελματικά ακατάλληλο οικοδεσπότη και έναν χώρο μη κατοικήσιμο. Μακριά!

Central location with free ‘street’ parking. We had semi-basement apartment with tiny windows which was average even for cheap price we paid. Thankfully we only stayed 1 night.

The furniture is quiet old. The kitchen equipment was missing basic necessities like cups or mugs. There was Nescafe provided and a coffee maker but nothing to put it into, which was very frustrating for me. Bathroom interior was old and not clean. It had signs of dampness and had a strong musty smell which permeated into the whole apartment. Also the toilet seat was broken & I slipped off but thankfully I did not fall down on the floor. The host said that the previous guest must have broken it & not said anything but when I looked through the reviews I noted that they had also complained about it, which was disappointing. Also, the cleaners would have seen this when they cleaned the bathroom before we got there? Think the term ‘villa’ & ‘luxury’ is used too loosely here & need to be revised as it is definitely misleading, as are the photos.

Δεν μείναμε στο κατάλυμα. Με την άφιξη μας και την είσοδο στο υπόγειο κατάλυμα και παρατηρώντας ότι το καζανάκι της τουαλέτας δεν λειτουργούσε και ο αερισμός ήταν κάκιστος Κάναμε ακύρωση και αποχωρήσαμε με διαφωνία με τον διαχειριστή του διαμερίσματος, το οποίο θέμα ενημερώθηκε η booking και θα επιλυθεί νομικά .

We managed to stay only for an hour at the propey before we left running after contacting Booking com. BEWARE! Two of the "luxury suites" are semi-basement, low ceiling rooms no more than 18 square metres! We ended up in one of them because we didn't pay attention to one of the photos!!! The owner doesn't mention it neither on description or fine print or anywhere else . When contacting him to complain about it,he gave us childish excuses and tried to delay us by "offering" to contact the other guests and ask if anyone would like to change rooms!!!!You can see the "view" from the room in my pictures and check the other low rating reviews . Don't be tempted by the low price it's not worth it at all. And " free parking" is on the street and is free from 21:00 - 09:00 in the morning. The rest of the time you have to pay if you're lucky to find a parking!

Price/performance is good. 2 parents and 2 children can stay in here. Its location is excellent.

There are no reception or security services. Finding a parking spot during the day is a bit of a hassle. There are no nice beaches nearby—or even further away.

​Please keep in mind that there isn't enough cutlery and dishes—currently, there is only one glass and two cups. ​Also, it would be very helpful to provide parking instructions. Since many of us come from other countries, we don't have information on how to pay for parking in front of the accommodation.

Absolutely nothing, ended up not even staying there

Absolutely a scam!! The owner told us to pick up the keys from a lock box. The lock box was easy to open and retrieve the key, HOWEVER, upon trying to open the door, none of us could open it after trying over and over for half an hour. The door seemed sealed shut, and upon contacting the owner, he was not helpful at all and was EXTREMELY arrogant and blamed us for not knowing how to open a simple lock. He expected us to wait outside in the rain for an indefinite amount of time until someone came to help. He kept extending the time even though it was already 7 pm and we had been there since 5 pm. Upon leaving, he texted me telling me that the door was open and, after asking him for actual evidence of the door being open, he refused to send a picture of the open door and kept being extremely arrogant. I took screenshots of the entire conversation as evidence even though he then deleted the messages.

Clean, good communication, simple reservation. Very good location with proximity to the port. Owner had also.reserved some cold water in the fridge which was very thoughtful.

Το air condition ήταν στο δεύτερο χώρο της σαλοκουζίνας οπότε για να έρθει στο χώρο του δωματίου που ήταν η κρεβατοκάμαρα έπρεπε να κρυώσει το παιδί μέσα και μετά να καταφέρουμε να δροσιστούμε λίγο, δεν είχε που να απλώσεις τα ρούχα σου ούτε για να στεγνώσουν αφού δεν υπήρχε μία απλώστρα ούτε καν στις καρέκλες οι οποίες είχαν οβάλ πλάτη, στο μπάνιο δεν υπήρχε ούτε ένα τσιγκελάκι να κρεμάσεις ένα ρούχο μία πετσέτα κάτι.. όταν μπήκαμε και ξαπλώσαμε στο κρεβάτι από δίπλα στο τοίχο είχε κολλημένες μυξες, η κατάψυξη του ψυγείου είχε μέσα κάτι παγωμένα υπολλοίματα από φαγητά υγρής μορφής, κάτω από το κρεβάτι είχε σκόνες φαινόταν ότι δεν καθαρίστηκε κτλ το κρεβάτι ήταν εντελώς άβολο ήταν κοίλο το στρώμα με αποτέλεσμα να έχεις τυ τάση να φεύγεις αριστερά και δεξιά ενώ σε κάθε κίνηση έτριζε ασταμάτητα

Booked a last minute stay here and it was brilliant, very accommodating staff. Very clean and spacious property. 10/10

Clean, quite spacious. There is a kitchenette if you want to make yourself breakfast.

My apartment was in a basement so no view outside. And watch your head outside. If you're by a car or motorcycle - no parking place provided (but in my case it was easy to find one)

It was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable, quite air conditioning, excellent location.

I found it a little strange that a notice on the cupboard door said that toilet rolls were not provided but a new one was in the room when I arrived. I guess the owner meant that after using the one provided you have to buy your own.

The location is absolutely perfect – close to everything, which makes getting around so easy. Inside, everything was sparkling clean and highly comfortable, making it a great spot to truly relax. A huge plus for the seamless, continuous communication with the host, who makes sure everything goes smoothly. Highly recommended!

The room is located in the basement with a strong smell of mold or sewage. The bed is small and uncomfortable. Communication with the owner is difficult. I do not recommend.

Ένας μικρός παράδεισος!Η διαμονή μας ήταν άψογη από την πρώτη στιγμή. Το δωμάτιο ήταν ακριβώς όπως στις φωτογραφίες, εξαιρετικά καθαρό και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο με ό,τι χρειαζόμασταν. Η ησυχία της περιοχής μας πρόσφερε έναν πολύ ξεκούραστο ύπνο. Ιδιαίτερη μνεία αξίζει στους οικοδεσπότες, οι οποίοι ήταν εξαιρετικά φιλόξενοι και μας έδωσαν χρήσιμες συμβουλές για την περιοχή. 5 αστέρια με την καρδιά μας!

What did we like? Nothing. The room we were given did not meet the basic standards required for guest accommodation. Booking.com should pay closer attention to cases like this, especially when important information about the nature and condition of the room is not clearly disclosed in the listing.

Out of the 6 rooms advertised, 2 are located in a semi-basement level with only very small cellar-style windows. This important information was not clearly disclosed in the listing. The room showed visible signs of dampness and had a strong musty smell. In my view, accommodation of this type is not suitable for any guest, and it is particularly inappropriate for people with mold allergies, asthma, or other respiratory conditions. Because of the damp environment and moldy odor, staying in the room posed a health risk to my family. I suffer from asthma, and we were unable to remain in the room. We left immediately after entering and did not use the accommodation. Properties with such conditions should not be rented to guests without a clear and explicit warning in the listing. Had we known that the room was located in a semi-basement with these conditions, we would never have booked it. I cannot comment on the condition of the other rooms, which may be perfectly acceptable. However, future guests should be aware that Rooms 5 and 6 are located in the semi-basement and may present problems for anyone sensitive to dampness, mold, or poor air quality.

The room was in the basement, there was a strong smell of dampness and mold, there were 2 of us, one of us slept in another location. I couldn't stand the smell, the location in the basement was not mentioned anywhere.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr gut. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe vorhanden, und sowohl der Hafen als auch die Promenade sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Da ich ohne Auto angereist bin, kann ich die Parksituation nicht beurteilen. Soweit ich gesehen habe, gibt es jedoch direkt vor dem Haus Parkmöglichkeiten. Bei Fragen war der Vermieter jederzeit per WhatsApp erreichbar und hat schnell reagiert.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν εξαιρετικό, καθαρό και είχε όλα τα απαραίτητα για μια άνετη διαμονή, ο ιδιοκτήτης ήταν ευγενικός και άμεσος όταν του ζητήθηκαν εξτρά πετσέτες.

Μου άρεσε πολύ που το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ ωραίο κλασικό μοντέρνο μαζί σαν μίξη και το μπάνιο και το κρεβάτι ήταν πολύ μαλακό και κοιμήθηκα μια χαρά χθες το βράδυ ξεκουραστηκα και το μαξιλάρι επίσης και το στρώμα το ίδιο επίσης.Κι ο κύριος όταν έστειλα μήνυμα στο βαιμπερ ήταν ευγενικός και τον ευχαριστώ πολύ για όλα.

Το μόνο που δεν μου άρεσε ήταν ότι δεν είχε καφέ καν όλα τα άλλα ήταν πολύ ωραία μου άρεσαν πολύ.

Do not be fooled by the photos. Our room was underground, with windows facing dark basement shafts/storage areas, not real outside views. It did not match the impression given by the photos. The damp smell was overwhelming and made it almost impossible to sleep. Opening the windows did not help, because the room is below ground level. The air felt heavy, humid and unhealthy. For me, this was not a place to stay — it was a place to leave.

Gute Lage zwischen Stadt und Hafen Einen Parkplatz haben wir an der Straße gefunden. Das Zimmer war ordentlich und sauber. Wir haben rechtzeitig den Zugangscode erhalten. Wir würden es wieder buchen.

Όλα ήταν πολύ ωραία! Όμορφα καθαρά διαμερίσματα, διακοσμημένα με γούστο. Έγινε κάποιο μπέρδεμα σχετικά με τις πετσέτες μας αλλά λύθηκε άμεσα. Πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο του Βόλου. Μπορείς να πας κέντρο, παραλία, πεζόδρομο κλπ με τα πόδια.

Θα μπορούσε να έχει και πετσέτες προσώπου, όχι μόνο μπάνιου.

Πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο, άνετο δωμάτιο, πάντα ζεστό νερό.

Ενώ το στρώμα είναι καλό το ξύλινο κρεβάτι τρίζει σε κάθε κίνηση, ακόμα και όταν αλλάζεις θέση.

Τίποτα ένα αισχος

Δεν είχαμε ενημερωθεί κατά την κράτηση του δωματίου ότι ήταν υπόγειο,. Και φυσικά όταν πήρα τηλ για να μου πουν ποιο δωμάτιο είχαμε. Αυτός που απάντησε ήταν αγενεστατος....
