Fantastic location, remote and relaxed perfect for a weekend gateaway. We were fishing around Foxford, which is at 13 min by car from the structure. Unfortunately the structure is not reachable by public transport and a car is needed, but this is a common feature in most of the places where I stayed in the west of Ireland.

The structure can get some spiders and insects inside if you are not careful, that's natural part of the location in the middle of the nature. A recurring check of doors and windows from the owner could prevent the formation of nests or similar.

Everything 😊. Quiet and peaceful. Very clean and beds were comfortable. Hosts had thought of everything a guest might need. Clear instructions on the boiler and fireplace. Loved the donkeys and cows. Definitely the place to stay if you’re looking for some headspace.

Only thing I didn’t like was the route that google maps sent me on. Over the mountain but by good luck I never met anything else on the road.

Хорошо красивое место, красивые виды из окна, можно самому регулировать отопление и горячую воду, при входе встречает приятный подарок, место хорошое) Главное выбрать дни без ветра что бы можно было побыть на свежем воздухе, мы попали в сильный ветер и дождь но мы всё ровно рады так как виды даже из окна были красивые.

Было два больших поука это не очень приятно так как мы их не любим, но это не минус так как в Ирландии эти пауки везде и это нормально.

Lovely location, peaceful, comfortable and clean. A perfect base for a short stay to explore the area.

Lovely lodge to spend some days disconnecting from routine in the middle of stunning nature all around. The Lodge is cozy, warm, and very nice. The owners are lovely people. Definitely recommended!!

Location was very peaceful! Lovely donkey to keep us company, Not far from the nearby towns and villages, and place was well kept ! Would definitely come back again!

There are so many things I liked!! Being in the heart of nature with no close by neighbours, the views, having all house needs fulfilled, the small attentions like the prosecco bottle, the hospitality of the hosts, the small service they did for us on the last day... My son met a donkey for the first time (but tell no one: I think I loved feeding her carrots more than my son did). The toys in the house.. The hot water and heating in no time.. There isn't really much not to like.

The road to the mobile home goes through some small streets (which last a few km) with plants on both sides, which aren't always well cut, so I think it might scratch the car paint. But this is a problem of Ireland, saw it everywhere.. Also, I personally didn't mind, but the supermarket is like 12 mins away by car. About the house, there's a very small wind that you feel when lying in bed, not sure how the isolation is done, but the heaters do their job well. We actually were overheated (due to our own fault though, since you can set yourself the temperature of the hot water and radiators, we just didn't know what to sat in order to have a desired room temperature)

The views from the Lodge are amazing, magical sunsets, peace and quiet. Its near the town, Amanda and Padraic very friendly and responsive, a great place to stay. We loved it.
