The property has no no or name.. very difficult to find. Located in very bad area

Room was clean and neat and had everything we needed for a one night stay. We could use the main kitchen area to prepare dinner for ourselves. Free secure parking was provided. We had a good night sleep because of the quiet environment.

We were somewhat unsure what to do when we arrived. After phoning the hostess she handed over the keys within 2 minutes. A sign on the gate instructing the arriving guests to phone her will help to eliminate the uncertainty.

Value for money.

The price is fair. You can value for money. But they can increase price to cover things like water bottle, tea etc.

Absolutely everything. The room was so neat and clean. The bathtub is definitely my favorite feature of the room. I'll definitely be back.

Exceptionally clean the best is comfortable with electric blanket. Wifi works perfectly. Tv with Netflix and YouTube. And the coffee station was a cherry on top.

The place, the room was spotless... Absolutely clean and modern shower, toilet and decor in the entire room.

The entire room looked great. It was home away from home. The owner just gave clear instructions on what to do as I would leave earlier than expected.

Yeah the place was clean I liked that but when I arrived I didn't like the confusion that was there and the way I was told its not professional

The Dulux guesthouse unlike other guesthouse, allows their guest to use the kitchen, microwave and steam ion for free, and that alone is much economically. They actually apply Philippians 2: 4 "...look out not only for your own interests, but also for the interests of others." Thank you very much!!

Fijne kamers die van alles waren voorzien. Badkamer zag er ook heel netjes en schoon uit. Eigenaar was zeer vriendelijk. Alle kamers liggen in een apart gebouw. Bij de kamersleutel krijg je ook de sleutel van de voordeur. Zo kun je altijd erin en eruit.

Kamers zijn heel gehorig.

The manner the owner treated us when we requested tissue paper as there was no tissue in our room except a previously used one which was almost finished. They responded to us as if we stole the tissue, which was honestly rude.

I had to kill 2 spider in the bathroom. My worry is that I’m allergic to it. Nonetheless the place was clean

I like the electric blanket touch as that night was cold and windy day. So it really made a difference as the bed was nice and toasty.

The hostess seemed to be in a foul mood and came across as being very rude. I had just finished a day of work so i just chose not to focus on her! However, she literally just put me off and was the only thing i did not appreciate about the place.

Every thing about the place was beautiful . The room was very neat and their bed was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone looking for accommodation around Volksrust.

The Host. Treated us really badly. I was driving from Bloemfontein to Volksrust at night. I had told them that i was going to check in at 10pm, but due to the road works on the N5( Stop and goes) i became delayed. The owner called me at 11pm asking when am I checking in, i replied that im 30min away. Did this man not tell me that i can’t check in because I’m late🙆🏽‍♂️. My wife and I were driving late at night to a place we have never been before and the our accommodation tell us we cannot check in because we are late. An argument over the phone ensued, it was a shouting match between me, the guest, and him the host, telling me that i cannot check in that late. I tried to explain to him that Sir, my estimation of a 10:00pm check in was off set by road works that i could not have known are there, im driving from Bloemfontein, he said thats not his problem, after back and forth on the phone he dropped the call on me. 20min later i arrive at the guest house, i was greeted by his wife, cold as ever. She showed us our room and explained everything, then asked us when are we checking out. She was visibly irritated by us arriving. If you are running a guest house and you see that ur guest is not arriving at the time they said they would, house about you call them and find out whats happening so that proper arrangements can be made. As a host you cannot tell ur guest they can’t check in because they are late after payment is made. It is a horrible thing to do and it made me and my wife very uncomfortable, we could not wait to leave in the morning. In a nutshell, the place is OK, but the hosts are terrible, there are other places in Volksrust that offer a better service, the following night we booked at Oasis in Volksrust, the service was amazing.

We would have loved to pay more if there was an aircon in the room. That would help for more privacy and sound proofing, as we can keep all closed. The bed was abnormally high they must remove the beds feet.
