The host was responsive and did try to help with the problems we faced. However, some important things like a working kitchen, fridge, and laundry facilities were missing, even though they were promised. He arranged for an electrician, gave a pressure cooker, and offered maid help for laundry, which we appreciated. Still, it was disappointing that these basics weren’t sorted out beforehand.

We stayed here for 2 days with our extended family after a trip around Mysore. While the house was spacious and has potential, our experience didn’t fully match the expectations set by the listing. We had booked a 3BHK, and while many amenities were shown in the photos, some were missing or not fully functional. For example, we were told not to use the geyser and AC in one bedroom at the same time — which caused discomfort, especially when some family members wanted to sleep with the AC on while others needed hot water to bathe. The kitchen was minimally equipped, and key items like a pressure cooker or oven (shown in the listing) were initially not provided. To the host’s credit, he arranged for a cooker promptly when asked. Cleanliness was another area that could be improved. One room had a strong odor (possibly from prior smoking), a bathroom had low water pressure and a non-working geyser, and the hall sink was dusty with weak flow. The washing machine situation was confusing. We were told it wasn’t working, but it appeared to be plugged in and water-connected. As we had a lot of laundry, we cautiously tried it — only to be informed later that it caused water leakage downstairs. This was concerning, and clearer instructions or physically disconnecting it would have prevented the misunderstanding. After we left our review, the host called and spoke in a confrontational tone, questioning our feedback and dismissing our experience. While we understand reviews can be difficult to receive, this approach made us uncomfortable and was not appropriate. Overall, the stay came with a few challenges. The host was responsive and made efforts to help, but better preparation and clear communication from the start would have made the experience smoother.

The flat is not maintained properly and it's not cleaned properly. There was some bad smell coming.

The atmosphere around the home stay was excellent

Rooms and beds could've been more tidy and neat, the total home should be cleaned thoroughly with a pleasent scent and also some green plants to be present in the balcony
