Fantastic location , close to beach and pier New build

Property was very cold when we arrived, 10 degrees, no heater in main bedroom on top floor- told to put lower heaters on and heat would raise We found dirty laundry in downstairs cupboard and laundry in washing machine, I reported this and a cleaner did come to collect and apologise but later also found a broken glass and other people’s rubbish in other drawers- just felt like there was a lack of attention to cleaning the apartment Layout in main living room was not family friendly- two sofas in straight line and a tiny dining table not big enough for 4 to eat at- with a bit of imagination the layout could be so much better Patio doors could all do with a wash Main bed was comfy but two single beds were cheap and uncomfortable Property is managed by a hotel in North island, maybe this is the root of the problems.

The house was fabulous for our long weekend. Very clean, and as we were travelling with 2 teenagers, it was outstanding that we never ran out of hot water. The kitchen was very well supplied with cooking utensils and cookware, and I loved that it had a dishwasher and plenty of cups and glasses, as again, teenagers always need a clean glass. Loved the great Wi-Fi, as both teenagers were still working on assignments, and the fact that it didn't buffer was fabulous. Loved watching the sunrise every morning and only a short walk to get my cafe coffee fix. We would most definitely stay again.

Have to say, for a new build, I was surprised that the tiled floors in the bathrooms were not heated. Also, we couldn't find a switch to turn the outside light by the front door on, but that is being very picky.

rubbish from the previous people hadnt been emptied from kitchen which smelt bad! Other than that very nice facility close to the beach.

good location, quiet and private, but the parking beside the road was not that convenient, you need to play 'music chair' sometimes.

we checked-out at 08.30am. But the management team said they were informed by the housekeeper that we were still there until 11.00 am. That is impossible! Our flight was 11.45 on that day. They even did extra-charge for late check-out and also for the extra clean because the housekeeper told them that there was some coffee on the floor! We actually did vacuum and tidy the house before we left. They charged these over my credit card that I saved in the system for this booking. So, I can NOT do anything! When I tried to contact them, they were not responding at all!! This is insane and really unfair!!

We felt privileged to stay at Beachfront Haven Town House for 2 nights. The property was "as new". The location was perfect... looking out at the pier. We visited the Christchurch Gondola and Lyttleton... only a short drive away. Also the atmosphere and history of New Brighton area was very interesting. It was a lovely property .

We had to change the sheets as they looked and felt dirty like they had been slept in with hair and fluff all through the sheets and no extra pillow cases.

The windows were very dirty from the salt spray. Hard to enjoy the views!

The address was not fully indicated on the booking resulting in a late night call to find out where the apartment was - other than that everything was great.

Good location right next to the beach and the house itself was cozy.

We loved the location-- just a few minutes from the city, but views of the ocean! Lots of places to eat within walking distance.

No information about local activities or food shopping outlets. no instructions on how to use appliances especially the washer combo dryer. We had one hot day and the decking was too hot to walk on with bare feet. I think the living area would be tight for 4 adults especially dining.

The area is obviously being renovated and there were very few options for eating and drinking within walking distance.

No mirrors, other than bathroom cabinet. Full length mirror would have been good. Heater in bathroom not working, there was a note saying not to use, if someone took the time to write the note, perhaps it could have been fixed instead. Windows need cleaning, no point to a sea view if you can't see it. No off street parting, as advertised - just pot luck on street parking. Cleaning - a bit average

Very clean modern apartment looking over the beach.

The area was described as "up and coming" which is probably true. The problem is the starting point was VERY low. Plumbing issues in upstairs shower and washer dryer best avoided.

The body wash downstairs was empty, found it very hard to get the shampoo out. There was no washing powder for the washing machine.

Townhouse was near new and in excellent condition and presentation. Well appointed.

Place was nice, very close to the beach.

Combined washer/dryer in the kitchen really struggled to dry the clothes. Something in the house aggravated my allergies to a severe level.

Stairs were difficult for aging parents.

The location was amazing. The building itself was perfect. Very comfortable. The toilet was exceptional.

The fragrance on the bed linen, although smelt amazing, the wifes allergies had a skin reaction from the strong scent. Wouldn't affect most people. My wife has very sensitive skin. Just a thought for people with sensitive skin.

Well not anyone's fault but the mall is pretty rundown. We didn't go for that, has been dead for years, but desperately needs that planned rebuild!

The townhouse had fabulous views. It was so new ,,modern and clean. The kitchen was very well equipped.

The modern stove was difficult to work...some more detailed instructions would have been handy. However with help from management we got it working.

It was really cold when we arrived and it took a while to warm up.

The location was great. 2 minute walk to beach, 5 minute walk to a supermarket etc. furniture was comfortable and the property was warm and cosy

The cleanliness. The bins were filthy and had someone else’s scraps. The single beds downstairs had dirty sheets (hair and debris inside the top and bottom sheets) - I ended up having to shake out the sheets and remake beds before being able to use them. The body wash supplied was empty in downstairs bathroom. The milk provided had expired a week ago. Given the price paid this is unacceptable.

New, warm, quiet

We deliberately stayed on the coast and this place didn't disappoint. The view was beautiful and the apartment very comfortable.

Our flight had been delayed so it was dark and trying to work out which apartment was ours was a little tricky.

Firstly the host gave us a wrong code for key retrieval. We were waiting outside for 30 minutes. We kept calling the number and after a long wait they gave us the correct code. The property is laid out on 3 different levels and we had to carry our luggage up the flight of stairs. One bedroom at ground level with a bathroom. Upstairs was a living room and kitchen. Again up one flight was the second bedroom. No luggage racks

Really neat property very nicely appointed and new. Excellent location right by the beach with views to match. Very friendly property management too.

If on street parking is going to be an issue then be aware there is no other option. We had a park directly outside the property however and didn’t find this a problem.

There were to many in scents in the unit. Gave us a headaches. We put them on the balcony and worked out fine.

Ease of communication, access and property layout.

The colourful residents breaking the law outside the accommodation. I needed to seek assistance from boys in blue, however all ended well, no issue. More entertainment really at 2am ...

Easy contactless check in and close proximity to the beach. Everything was there that we needed and the washer/drier allowed us to get some washing done which was so convenient.

Exceptionally tidy and very well equiped. Lovely views from the top floor.

Being split across 3 levels. Only really an issue of staying for longer periods
