The place was nicely decorated. The common area was calming. Breakfast was varied and tasty. The hosts were kind and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to others

Very happy with everything, the place looked very well, great detail with the nice furniture and layout of the place, the owner was lovely and informative with information, everything is very modern which is great, food out for breakfast which was nice

no tv in the room but there was a lovely shared space just beside the room which had a living room/kitchen and there was a tv there

Lovely comfortable clean accommodation in the town centre, close to everything. The host Anna and her daughter Leanne are so friendly and helpful. Really nice continental breakfast is provided in the comunal kitchen. Would definitely stay again!

It's a little noisy, however it is in the town centre and on the street so that's to be expected, but nothing a pair of ear plugs won't sort, wouldn't stop us staying again

I highly recommend this guest house. I had a great stay and the host was extremely helpful and hospitable. Very well located and the room was very comfortable.

We booked one night and reserved two rooms. The rooms were absolutely spotless, and everything was lovely. Excellent location, walking distance to everything. The breakfast was fabulous, with a great selection of pastries, cereals, different breads, tea, coffee, fruit, yogurt, and orange juice. All dietary requirements were catered for, which was a lovely touch. The host kept in great contact with us throughout our stay and was extremely helpful, especially with parking. As the weather was quite hot, she even came back later to leave us a fan, which was incredibly thoughtful. She really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, our stay was absolutely excellent, and we would highly recommend it.

My second time staying here, and both experiences were superb. Lovely house, great location, fantastic room. Absolutely spotless and very comfy. Staff are absolutely lovely, so accommodating and helpful. I requested a change to my check-in time which was accommodated with no problem whatsoever; I was met on time with such a friendly welcome by the lovely lady who showed me what's what. Was made to feel very welcome. It was very much appreciated.

Ich war auf der Durchreise und habe eine Nacht in dieser wunderbaren Unterkunft verbracht. Es war viel schöner, als man auf den Bildern vermutet hatte. Sehr hell und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Dazu war alles sehr sehr sauber. Ich wurde freundlichst empfangen. Das Frühstücksangebot liebevoll hergerichtet.

Mein Zimmer lag direkt an der Straße, wer sehr geräuschempfindlich ist, sollte zum Schlafen vielleicht Ohrstöpsel benutzen. Aber später wurde es auch dort ruhiger.

Great location, beautifully clean, comfortable bed, powerful shower and a basic breakfast, which isn't advertised. I found that a real bonus.

Johnsville House is an absolute gem accomadation, I would highly recommend it for a stay in Carlow. It is located centrally in the town. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating with my late booking and arrival. The place was immaculately clean, and the facilities were excellent. The provision of bottled water, juices, cereals, fresh breads, and coffees was a thoughtful touch.

noise from the street, central location means this is unavoidable in front room. No tv channels to relax in front of, i did find youtube on the tv but it was set in a language that I couldn’t understand to change the preferences

Spacious apartment with three bedrooms, two doubles and one single, all with bathrooms. There were four of us and we occupied the two double rooms, but since it's a B&B, there's the option of sharing the common areas with another guest. The owner, very kind and hospitable, provided us with plenty of excellent products for breakfast.

The host was very helpful, the house was immaculate, with more than enough for breakfast.

Parking is a little difficult, but just around the corner

Everything was perfect. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfy. An added bonus was the amazing array of food supplied in the kitchen for breakfast. Thank you Leanne. I look forward to staying with you again

Well this is a lace I will definately return to, when in Carlow. I don't think I have ever given a 10 score for a place. Johnsville house was simply wonderful, Leeanne was the perfect host, lovely person so accomadating, insisted I stay and make mysekf comfortable, check out day, while awaiting a problem with my car. The place is central, clean and just a perfect stay!

Everything was 100%. Very comfortable, warm, good location and a great welcome by Leanne! I really appreciated the room upgrade. The kitchen was well stocked and although I was just there for one night I had the most relaxing time. Highly recommend and I will definitely stay again when I'm in the Carlow area.

The owner was very nice and welcoming,the bed and room were very clean and very comfy, the room was lovely and warm and the shower was amazing lots of pressure and nice warm water with a optional rainfall feature.

The room was a bit too hot at times, but this was a user error.

Great stay at Johnsville B&B Had a lovely stay at Johnsville B&B. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and well looked after. Despite being right in the town, it was quiet and we slept very well. The continental breakfast was fresh and enjoyable with a good selection. The central location is ideal — within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and local attractions. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

La chambre était propre et fonctionnelle. Assez grande. La possibilité de se restaurer dans la cuisine avec du choix. Très bon emplacement. Beaucoup de charme et agréable.

Le lit bien que confortable était un peu petit pour deux adultes. La proximité de la rue de notre chambre. Dommage que l’isolation des fenêtres ne soit pas plus forte pour atténuer les bruits. Sinon calme la nuit. Nous aurions aimé un lit plus large au loins 160 cm.

Host was very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Everything was spotless, nice and freshly decorated. Lots of local pubs serving food all on your doorstep , various takeaways too. As a women travelling on my own I was very pleased

Absolutely beautiful accommodation, made my evening and it was really close to everything, I would love to stay again. The welcome of the wreaths, candles and decorations in the house was just fantastic to walk into on a blustery evening.

The place is very clean and comfortable. The communal area is very comfortable too. Location is perfect.

There was a skylight in the room which meant it was bright at sunrise but it didn’t bother me too much.

La casa era genial, para nosotros solos. El salón muy acogedor, las habitaciones amplias, con radiadores, y baños completos. El desayuno muy completo, con todo lo necesario: leche, zumos, yogures, cereales, cruasanes, de todo!!! La ubicación perfecta, cerca de todo, y sin problemas para aparcar el coche.
