The noise on the first night. I am not sure if it was the guests or the staff but the second night there was no noise. There was no parking on the second night. I suggest they do a packing shade for other cars since the garage can only accommodate 2 cars only.

The house keeping opened my bag and searched through my bag. I asked the night shift person to be with me when I checked my bag . I found that some of my jewelry was missing

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Nothing, because I couldn’t even get to the property as I couldn’t find it on Ways or Google Maps. I called the property and told them I was getting lost and asked for them to send me a location, I spoke to Cynthia who told me that she would try send me a location, which she didn’t send, when I called back again, she just didn’t pick up the phone so I had to end up booking elsewhere, meanwhile I paid fully paid to be accommodated at Anisa.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026I loved everything about my room. How aesthetically pleasing it was. The bed was so comfortable and a lovely view of the pool outside. Loved the closet space with beautiful art. And a big and spacious bathroom.
The way to the place was quite terrible for a small car. Shower drain was blocked and water seeped out which was a concern for overflowing. Breakfast is made too early and left in the oven.

The shower had a blocked drainage and surprisingly the staff knew about. We took one quick shower and the room flooded with water. The were smelling pillows in the cupboards. The bedding had holes on it as a sign of wear and tear.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026I enjoyed the aesthetics and design of the property. Quality furniture gives the property an upmarket feel and construction of the building felt premium. Breakfast was enjoyable and kept aside if you missed serving time which was thoughtful. The rooms are nice and spacious with air cons. The pool was also a nice plus. I appreciated the semi self-catering amenities.
Not necessarily a dislike but they seem to be short-staffed. Although the lady on duty was very helpful you did get the sense that you were adding to her load because she seems to basically do everything from cooking, cleaning, laundry and reception which is a lot of for one person. That being said she met and exceeded expectation. The shower was a bit dirty with hair and sand, not a lot but enough to be put off. The pool also had a bit of debris. And hot water would run out and considering the property was fully booked during our stay there should have been better planning around that.

Reviewed Dec 15, 2025I loved the staff, they were very nice and welcoming. The breakfast was also good. We got free full body massages for staying a bit longer, the ladies did an awesome job, we enjoyed the massage.
There is a gravel road for a very short drive (less than 100m), nothing to worry about, my small car was able to drive there with no issues.

The breakfast is not really filling because its not Ala carte neither Buffet, they just prepare a Vienna, egg bread & beans. The flooring they use polish which is very strong, I didn't sleepwell because the smell was too strong and bad, even got sinuses.
1. Breakfast not filling 2. Polish on the floor 3. Room was not 100% clean 4. Water was cold when I needed to bath and I was offered a Boiling pot to warm my water. I paid to bath comfortably not for me to be Boiling water, why switch off the geyser? 5. The roads are so not it and where its suitated is so out of everything. 6. No mirror in the room, only small mirror in the bathroom.

The roads to the venue are not good and it is difficult to get there. There was no electricity the whole night, we couldn't charge the phones. and we woke up to no water. There was no breakfast. The gas was also finished and we were offered corn flakes that tasted like paper. We couldn't eat them. There was no communication,we had to keep on asking. The owner needs to run a proper business,make plans for emergency and train the staff.

The pool area is a great touch. Necessary for the Venda heat in summer. The staff accommodated many of our extra guests who kept coming in and out, as we were there for a wedding. Overall, good service and experience.
The kitchen was not clean. The countertops and cupboards were sticky and dusty with small roaches. Breakfast was not consistent as there wasn’t enough fruits and yogurt for the entire group every morning. Water was made available only when we asked. The road leading to the guesthouse is not good. Almost damaged some tyres.
