Es war ein kleines Paradies. Schade, dass alles zum Verkauf steht und ich wahrscheinlich der letzte Gast war. Der hervorragende Host Jason geht nach Wales zurück.

I loved my stay nice and quite just out of town to not feel to far out but not to close to it at the same time

The only thing that I could moan about was my lack of not having enough time to enjoy the space!! Was great thankyou so much 💓

Penhill was a fantastic getaway spot. Jason was a great host, greeting me on arrival and showing me to a marvellous sunset viewing spot. He even started a fire in the fire pit for me that evening! Fridge stocked with drinks, very friendly animals on the property and a clean, well furnished studio. It’s a shame I could only stay for one night!

Jason was incredibly considerate and friendly, he went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We only spent one night but could've stayed a lot longer.

The host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond, I will definitely be booking here again, everything was exceptional

i had trouble wi the access.. twaza little steep n muddy n sljppery from rain...

We couldn't find the place as we arrived late, however, the hosts walked their long driveway to wait with a torch as we drove by 🫶🌿😂 so welcoming and hospitable, even ramped up the firepit for us to enjoy and gave us a little geography lesson. The room was cute, clean and cozy. Highly recommend.. Thank yous for being such amazing hosts.

Everything. Lovely hosts, comfortable accommodation, well out of the way, couldn’t ask for more. Separate from the home so very private. Oh and loved the occasional visits from Benny (resident dog) The Peacocks were fabulous too.

I know many people sleep with a duvet and no top sheet, but I'm a women of a certain age who overheats so a top sheet is nice.

Nice rural setting. Appreciated the gifts of chocolate and wine in fridge. V friendly host who was mortified that a power cut may have spoilt our stay (no worries!). Great shower

Position of bed - there were walls on 3 sides. Getting in/out of bed (for one person) meant crawling over the top of your partner

Stunning tiny home that is just so relaxing. Everything you could need for a quiet get-away. The hosts are so friendly and showed us a spot with views of the most beautiful sunsets. We had the most lovely time here and didn't want to leave!

We got to the property late at night after a very long day. But everything in the cabin exceeded our expectations and we were very pleased with the quality of the accommodation provided.

There is nothing about the accommodation that we did not like.

This was the perfect holiday destination for us for our week long stay. It was very peaceful, private, spotlessly clean, comfortable, thoughtfully and generously equipped and had wonderful bird life in the garden (kotare, kereru, ruru etc), along with Benny the very friendly pet dog. We enjoyed exploring thjs area. It is a short drive from Bushy Park bird sanctuary.

When it was time to go home!

Thank you so much Jason & Jill!! Instructions for getting there was spot on. The little hideaway is sooo comfortable - had everything I needed, was wonderfully clean, beautifully fitted out, lots of natural light and the bed was incredibly cosy and comfy. The setting is remote and Jason pointed out the viewpoint in the garden with chairs that look over the sea. I didn't want to leave!

Penhill Hideaway is a lovely property with a really comfy bed, great facilities and couple of extra treats up its sleeves! All the little touches really made our stay. Incredible views from the seating on the private deck. Added bonus of being able to use the hot tub. A well equipped kitchen allowed us to be able to cook dinner and hideaway from the chilly weather!

The Tiny House is incredibly well-designed, making efficient use of space while still feeling spacious and comfortable. The garden is absolutely stunning, offering a peaceful and beautiful setting. The option to use the hot tub was a fantastic bonus, and we really appreciated being welcomed with sparkling Sauvignon Blanc and chocolate – such a thoughtful touch! The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, ensuring we felt completely at home. The kitchen was impressively well-equipped, especially for a Tiny House, making it easy to prepare meals. Everything was spotless, which added to the overall comfort. Another highlight was the beautiful beach just a short drive away, perfect for relaxing or taking a stroll. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway!

Honestly, there’s really nothing to complain about. If you’re determined to find something, the nearest shopping opportunity is about a 20-minute drive away. However, that’s to be expected with accommodations nestled in the heart of nature – it didn’t bother us at all!

Loved the location and the views, handy facilties everything you would need to cook and clean.

We found the bed a bit uncomfortable and I kind wished there was some wine that was mentioned in a note left for us.

Friendly Hosts, great view and location was tranquil, had everything you needed.

A clean and very tidy spot on a main route to/from New Plymouth. Excellent bathroom/kitchen facilities and a nice comfortable bed to sleep.
