Beech Lodge,Garden Apartment

Location easy to find and very peaceful, completely immerse in nature.

The only negative was that at night spiders quite big found in my bed in the morning and in my suitcase, I did not mind spider, but the midges were bitting all night. I suppose is not any fault of the owner, I was in the middle of nature.

The room is large and comfortable. Real breakfast was not included, but the host left some supplies in the kitchen. The area is quite.

The water supply had very low pressure and flow. The lodging was difficult to find with the address only. Maybe easier with the App that was not installed.

Perfect for my needs! I was at a wedding down the road and this set up was just wonderful to have a quiet, cosy, well appointed place to stay that was very close. Host was very kind as we met for towel change.

Prima verblijf voor een nacht n de buurt van Wexford. Hele vriendelijke ontvangst en een ontbijtje in de koelkast. In de keuken is eveneens een magnetron en een kookplaat.

De Wifi was heel erg instabiel en de kamer was behoorlijk gehorig als er personen in de kamer ernaast zitten.

Prettig verblijf met ontbijt in de koelkast. Heel praktisch!

It was a perfectly appointed little apartment. Spotlessly clean and quiet. Angela, the host, was very welcoming and had provided plenty of fresh food for breakfast. There is also a lovely outdoor area to soak up the evening sun.

The walls are a little thin between the apartment and the next room. However I shall book both rooms next time ( there is an adjoining door) and take a friend.

Not a lot really.

The apartment wasn't clean. I shared my bed with a spider. Video footage of needed. The place just seemed neglected and thrown together. We booked a bed and breakfast however because it was an " apartment " there was no cooked breakfast supplied. Instead there was brown bread , ham eggs and cheese milk etc in the fridge for you to cook your own breakfast. Won't be returning.

Comfort and cleanliness.

First thing on the morning I left there was a putrid smell in the kitchen area that I couldn’t locate. I can only assume that it was from outside the house.

Sehr nettes, etwas abgelegenes Appartement. Angela ist mir ihrem Mann extra noch einmal rausgefahren, um zu schauen, ob ich den Schlüssel gefunden und im Haus alles gut angetroffen habe. Zum Frühstück hatte ich einen reichhaltig gefüllten Kühlschrank zur freien Bedienung.

Leider hat der Herd mit den beiden Kochplatten nicht funktioniert oder ich habe mich zu dumm angestellt, um den ans Laufen zu bekommen. Ist aber nicht schlimm gewesen.

Angela nos recibió muy bien. Nos dejó un desayuno completísimo. El departamento está muy bien equipado y la cama era comodisima.

No es sencillo llegar pero tomando algún punto de referencia se hace más fácil.

Heeeeeeeel rustige ligging! Voorzien van alle basisbenodigdheden. Vaatwasser. Voldoende uitgebreid ontbijt.

Very friendly host. She had a great variety of foods for breakfast ready and even gave me laundry soap to wash my clothes.

The shower had very weak pressure

We kregen een upgrade naar het grootste deel van het huis. Zeer comfortabel en ruim, alles wat je nodig zou kunnen hebben is aanwezig. Ook lekker in de tuin kunnen zitten. Heerlijk ontbijt stond voor ons klaar! Alleraardigste en behulpzame gastvrouw Angela.

Wifi werkte niet overal in her huis even goed.

what an absolutely beautiful place to stay! I had my own entrance and completely self contained flat all to myself. Very private and very well equipped too, nothing I needed to bring as it was all there. Safe location and as a motorcyclist the parking was fantastic too. The location is so beautiful and the hostess was so welcoming and lovely to talk to and made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Lovely treats all set out for me too for my breakfast, felt very spoilt and it was more like a treat than a stop over! THANK YOU for making me feel so welcome and Im definitely adding this as my favourite place to stay when I arrive from Rosslare

there was nothing to not like, its a perfect place

Compleet andere kamer dan op Booking stond. Voldeed totaal niet aan onze verwachtingen en was erg stoffig. Eigenaresse was erg vriendelijk en zijn er samen uitgekomen, wij zijn uiteindelijk ergens anders verbleven.

The friendliness of the Host.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable- indeed I fell out the bed in my sleep such was my discomfort causing me to excessively toss and turn all night- not an experience that I have had before nor one that I would want to repeat.

We had a wedding at Horetown House and it was a short 5 minute walk to the venue.

Very modern, very clean , very private

A few more utensils in kitchen would not go a miss like Pyrex dish for oven or a sharp knife and bread board but otherwise quite good

Our honest comment about the Beech Lodge is in just tolerable standard.

Beech Lodge provides shared washing machine & dryer which is fine. Apart from that, even the very basic facilities are met very minimal expectations ; eg., TV has no signal, cook tops & oven are a combined unit on top of the only tiny work top. There is no room on this tiny bench for boiling kettle but have to do so on window sill. There are no instructions in house.

Angela est vraiment très sympathique et de bon conseil. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et Angela essaye de combler nos envies.

Nous étions dans l'appartement, il y avait 3 fours mais aucun plat pour aller dedans, il y avait des poêles mais pas de plaques de cuisson. Le bruit est insupportable pour dormir car les chambres sont communicantes et vous entendez le moindre petit son, bruit dans les toilettes etc... Manque un peu de propreté, des araignées partout. L'arrière du jardin n'est pas vraiment agréable.

Breakfast was very good . I had a little trouble with finding it, but Angela kindly came and led me in to her home . It is in a quiet location in the country . I slept well.

Signposts in Ireland are few and far between wherever you travel A good sat nav would have helped but my signal disappeared as I came off the ferr.It returned when I was further in land

Angela meet us on arrival and showed us around. She asked us what time we wanted breakfast and recommend a couple of local pubs :)

The lady of the house didn't have our reservation. She sent us to another Accommodation up the road, we were sent onto another Accommodation. This person said I know where your booked and brought us back to the first Accommodation. The lady here never apologise. Said it was our fault, and showed us to our Accommodation.

Very Clean and Warm welcoming property. Would definitely recommend
