Geluidsoverlast van gasten die 's avonds laat/'s ochtends vroeg op buitenterras zitten te kletsen. Erg veel wiet-/hash- gebruik door gasten, waardoor je steeds door die lucht loopt op weg naar je kamer.

Upon my arrival, I was warmly greeted. However, I was still charged an extra tax, despite having paid everything in full online already. This was mentioned nowhere, and it increased the price to almost double of what I paid initially. Apparently this is an issue in all of Nijmegen - a city tax. But this is not the customer's problem. Since the price is already fixed, include it in the listing. Not doing so feels like an outright scam. The hostel itself was fine. The price I paid on the other hand, was the price of a hotel, or a good B&B, and I'd rather take the latter then.

Bij reservering gemeld dat ik pas om middernacht zou arriveren, was geen probleem werd gezegd. Dag zelf tevergeefs geprobeerd contact te krijgen om eraan te herinneren dat ik pas 's nachts zou arriveren. Niemand kunnen bereiken, niet per mail, niet per telefoon, niet per sms. Toen ik 's nachts arriveerde had ik geluk dat er net iemand van het personeel -bij toeval- langs het raam aan straatzijde liep zodat ik binnen kon. Personeelslid wist van niets maar maakte er wel het beste van.

Reviewed Mar 28, 2026Facilities where clean and location in the very centre of Nijmegen is unbeatable. Staff were great (shout-out to Freddie and José!) Oh, and the free set of earplugs from the kitchen dispense was an absolute lifesaver.
The bathroom was a little outdated, although it all worked as expected.

Beetje geluidsoverlast maar ja je zit wel in het centrum.
