There was dirty Smelled of cigarettes and the bathroom was just not clean hair on the counter tops and the toilet would not flush The place needs a very good clean up and you should advertise that you have 4 dogs The kitchen and back porch an absolute mess

La localisation est parfaite lorsque l’on est en transit à la Barbade, à 15 minutes à pied de l’aéroport. Un grand merci à notre hôte pour sa présence à notre arrivée, ainsi qu’à 3h du matin, le lendemain, pour nous dire au revoir. Tout simplement adorable.

Rien à dire, l’hébergement correspond bien à la description et à nos attentes.

Trever es un excelente anfitrión Parada de bus a 1 minuto. Tienda a 1 minuto y bar a 2 min. Muy tranquilo

We booked this one for its closeness to the airport and that was the only good thing about this place

For what we paid this place is not worth it. The rooms have no ACs and only a dusty old fan that is super loud. The bed linen were stained (they looked washed but they were old!), the mattress was old and springy, the towels were old and had also stains on them and should have been used as rags by now, we were not given a room key to lock the room upon leaving it, the place was by no means dirty but very run down and old and as I said, not worth what was charged at all. I have stayed in shody places before but not for this price.

Hyggelig og vennlig eier med en spennende historie, som viste oss hagen og alt han dyrket der. Interessant. Rommene var bra og senga god. Kun aircondition på det ene rommet, men det gikk greit. Fint bad. Veldig fin beliggenhet, ikke langt fra flyplassen. Perfekt for oss som kom på ettermiddagen og skulle fly tidlig neste morgen.

The bedroom and bathroom were very clean. Despite the property being on the main road, the room was very quiet because it was at the back and away from the general area. Trevor was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

The smell of cigarette smoke upon entry, even though it was outside. Shared kitchen area could have been a little cleaner.

Op loopafstand van het vliegveld. Er is overigens geen voetpad, je loopt langs de weg. Eenvoudige homestay voor een kleine prijs.Te gast bij Trevor en zijn 4 lieve honden. Kleine slaapkamer met ventilator en een eenvoudige badkamer op de gang. Gemeenschappelijke keuken heb ik niet gebruikt. Als je buiten wilt zitten, zit je bij gastheer Trevor. Hij heeft veel verhalen. Koffie/thee 's morgens heb ik afgeslagen.

Trevor is delightful, chatty, and helpful. Didn't get to meet Jean; she was traveling at the time. Cost is fantastic, and can't beat the proximity to the airport if you're just passing through. Consider taking the bus if you're traveling light; it's only a stop or two from the airport (thanks to Trevor for this tip!)

Bring mosquito repellant if you're tasty. And pay attention to whether your room has A/C. It's difficult to sleep through the summer nights without air conditioning if you're not used to it...

Fantastic place almost right in the front of the airport - You can walk for about 15 minutes or take a 1,5 USD public bus. We spent 3 nights in our (European) wintertime, and both the room and the whole villa exceeded our expectations as it was unusually tidy, comfortable, spacious, with some kind of "colonial feel" to it. All necessary items were inside - cutlery, tea or coffee, plates. We could use all kitchen amenities, cook, bake, chill or freeze drinks. Our little one was so happy to look at the TV or simply run through the corridors. Both Jean and Trevor Herman;) helped us immediately with anything and made sure that we had everything to make our stay both happy, memorable and safe. The place is so welcoming. You can have Your own piece of mind or You can meet and chat with other travellers or owners. For both a a longer stay or just a quick transfer in this paradise, look no further than Chandler`s gorgeous rooms. The owners let us leave all our valuables during our island-hopping journey through some nearby islands, plus also gave us a lift to the airport with all our dozen of bags at the end of our stay. You get a welcome drink, scented towels, fan, great pillows, spacy wardrobes plus shower in the room, if You ask for it. You can have some nice sightseeing/dining/drinking/shopping/walking opportunities in the area as well. Buses plying the streets in both directions are easily avaiable just on the other side of the street which is anther great deal - the same apllies to the shop with beer and coke just across the road. Nobody can beat both the service and warm hospitality of this place (PLUS the price in the whole of the island)!!! I liked how friendly the host is. She is an amazing person, she made me feel welcomed and cared for.

There are dogs at this unit. But very clean and comforting. The dogs are very friendly and cute.

I had a very good time in Chandler's Homestay. The rooms are cozy and well-equipped. The breakfast is delicious and filling. However, the best part of this place is the hosts Jean and Trevor – who are incredibly helpful, friendly, and caring. The airport is very close, and you can either walk to Crane Beach or Foul Bay or take one of the frequently running buses. The location is well-connected and convenient.

Everything was fine.

The hostess was very pleasant. She ensured that I was comfortable, arranged my transportation to the airport and ensured that I was up on time for my early flight the following morning.

Jean and Trevor make you feel right at home. I had a wonderful time staying with them and would have loved to stay a Little longer. Very convenient placement of the homestay as you can simply walk to the airport. Busses to town pass right next too the door. In short, nothing to say, it was great.

The location was excellent within 10 minutes of the airport. The owners were very friendly and accommodate. The only drawback for us was the room was very basic and was right on quite a busy road room had one queen size bed which was recently comfortable but it had an en suite which with shower and toilet With no door otherwise it was a good B&B The owners were very welcoming and helpful.

The only thing that was of substance was the location of the room which was on a busy road and the lack of a door in the bathroom.

Although most of the facilities were clean and acceptable, the washroom was less than inviting to use. I did not.

The washroom/bathroom looked neglected and in my opinion, required a good scrubbing down.

The hosts were very accommodating given the circumstances of a cancelled flight. Location from airport was excellent and Jean was prepared for our early breakfast request.

We were amazed by the friendliness and warmth of the hosts. The location, close to the airport, was perfect for us. Really nice hosts! made my stay very comfortable and provided advice on where to visit and public bus network. FYI the accommodation is walkable from the airport if you have non-wheeled luggages, just walk along the main road (alot of grass on the right hand side)

Soap in the bath room was previously used, no face or wash rag was provided.

The people who ran the place were exceptionally friendly and very welcoming. Being solo and only having just arrived it was really nice to have these people to help and they were also lovely to chat to. The property was nice as well. Had a nice room to myself with a fan.

It didn’t have any AC but honestly wasn’t too bad.

We just had a stopover on Barbados and arrived at the property in the evening. The hosts already knew about our arrival and awaited us in front of the house. They were both super friendly and helpful and made us feel at home from the first moment. The rooms were clean and well equipped, there is a shared kitchen and bathroom. Near the property is a little shop and a little bar right next to it. It's located only 5 minutes from the airport, so for us it was the perfect location to catch our flight the next morning. The owner even brought us some coffee to the room, very lovely people. We can definitely recommend this homestay!
