Reviewed Sep 6, 2026The location is ideal, and that is essentially what you are paying for, as the rooms are pretty overpriced. The rooms were clean.
The smaller apartment had a terrible moldy water / sewer smell and the windows had to be kept open. The on-site restaurant does not give preference to its hotel guests (there is literally nowhere else to eat). We were turned away at 9:30pm. Not even allowed to order out to our room. The rooms were not cleaned during our two night stay, not even just towel replacement. We got sand in the room and I could not find a broom or anyone to help sweep some of it up.

Als de dagdrukte weg is, kun je van de ondergaande zon genieten en s ochtends voor de grote drukte naar het eilandje voor de kust lopen waar het zand nog enigzins roze is. Kamer was prima, fijne douche, koelkast. Waterkoker voor kopje koffie op eigen terras was fijn. Groot terras met zitjes en droogrek. Eigen restaurant voor de avond is top. Parkeren op eigen terrein heel handig.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026Appartamento nuovo ed essenziale. C'è tutto quello che serve in una disposizione molto razionale e funzionale. La posizione è fantastica, è la stuttura più vicina alla spiaggia e permette di vivere il mare nelle ore migliori. Molto bella anche la piscina proprio di fronte alle camere e con vista sulla baia.
Caro rispetto al servizio, ma si paga ovviamente la posizione eccezionale.

Il check in e stato molto sbrigativo e impersonale, ci hanno solo aperto la stanza e nient’altro (no WiFi, no istruzioni check out etc..) Dal bagno proveniva un odore un po’ forte La finestra non si chiudeva a chiave e rimaneva apribile anche da fuori

Alles technische funktioniert dort nicht. Stellen Sie sich auf ein Digital-Detox ohne Fernsehen und Internet ein - und nehmen Sie viele Bücher mit. Die Möbel auf dem Bild entsprechen auf nicht der Realität - sie waren tatsächlich aus den 80ern

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Le panorama exceptionnel avec vue sur la magnifique plage depuis la taverne , la proximité de la plage d'ELAFONISSI d'une immense beauté et à 3 minutes à pied (eau cristalline, chaude, sable blanc et un de rose la piscine, le grand parking gratuit , les tavernes aux alentours (déplacement en voiture)
Le descriptif de la chambre ne correspondait pas à ce que j'avais réservé : il n'y avait pas de balcon donc la vue mer était devant le perron de la chambre quand on était debout. L'explication du réceptionniste : le balcon c'est le devant de la chambre ! Nous avions une chambre (numéro 12) dans la partie ancienne du bâtiment, à coté de la nôtre il y avait bien un balcon, elle était dans la partie rénovée . Dans la salle de bain : odeur d'égout, pas de rideau de douche. La clim fixée sur le mur extérieur n'avait pas patins anti vibration donc on l'entendait fortement à l'intérieur même la fenêtre fermée , pas terrible pour dormir la nuit Personnel pas aimable, on semblait les embêter, pas de ménage entre les 2 nuits, lits pas fait à notre arrivée, les draps étaient pliés sur le lit

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026we were 2 and used the room for 3 nights. the structure is at 10 minutes walk from the beach. room is nice and functional and the pool is awesome with 24h availability. the owner also has a restaurant 50m from the room.
tv and wifi were not functional, a minor problem to us.

Il personale è molto scortese, arrivo con una prenotazione di una camera ma mi vogliono dare un’altra a camera dicendo che non trovano le chiavi cosa non vera in quanto le avevano La camera è sporca sia nell’ingresso che nell’interno ci sono formiche e si vede che il pavimento fuori non viene lavato da parecchio tempo Gli asciugamani sono dei pezzi di cartone durissimi. Hanno anche il ristorante vicino ma nulla di eccezionale

Es könnte trotz nicht vorhandener Küche trotzdem eine ganz kleine Grundausstattung haben, wie beispielsweise Korkenzieher und Kaffeemaschine.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Tolle Lage in Elafonisi! Pool, wenn der Ansturm am Strand zu groß ist! Vorteil, wenn man dort wohnt, kann man gehen, bevor oder nachdem der Ansturm am Strand ist! Praktisch das angeschlossene Restaurant mit Blick auf den Strand! Parkplatz direkt vorm Haus!
Ausstattung etwas spartanisch und das Zimmer etwas dunkel! Ist aber Jammern auf hohem Niveau!

1) missing any wall hunger in bathroom. 2) missing shower curtain, water was splashing all around. 3) bad smell from the drain system in the bathroom 4) missing bit of silicone in the bathroom on the wall above the mirror 5) missing any kitchen equipment (even spoons)

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the conditioner worked not bad, spacious room and bathroom. Exit to a second first floor terrace with a beautiful view to Elafonisi beach and in the night to a beautiful view to the night sky full of stars. The swimming pool was clean and refreshing with a view to Elafonisi beach. The staff was kind. It is one of the closest hotels to the beach.
It didn’t a pan and bigger cups for tea and any hand towel.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026La distance à la plage très proche. La vue du restaurant sur la plage coucher de soleil magique. Bien mangè au restaurant super accueil de tout le personnel.
Nous n'avons pas eu le logement réservé en photo mais plus petit avec une seule pièce. Ca fait le job pour une nuit mais toujours décevant d'avoir un écart entre le réservé et ce qu'on nous fournit sur place. Très bruyant des fenêtres double vitrages amélioreraient le brit persistant qui ne facilite.pas le sommeil.

Petit déjeuner mauvais pour un prix très élevé. La taverne offre une vue sur Elafonisi mais c'est l''unique intérêt. fermeture à 20H30 - 21H des cuisine alors qu'annoncée à 22H Menu hors de prix compte tenu de la qualité. PDJ à partir de 9H seulement... 3 jours dans la chambre - 1 petite poubelle dans la salle de bain jamais remplacée....

A great bonus is how quiet it becomes at night and early in the morning, once the evening crowds leave and before they arrive again, so you can truly enjoy the beach before it gets packed. Worth it for the location alone!
The room itself felt a little basic and a bit overpriced for what you get - there's definitely room to improve there. That said, waking up so close to the beach almost makes up for it!

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026L’emplacement était top et la chambre correcte située dans un bâtiment plus ancien que les autres, mais c’est la seule chambre qui restait pour une nuit. Nous étions bien contents de pouvoir être aussi proches de la plage. En revanche, nous avons trouvé que le restaurant était cher par rapport à nos précédentes expériences et nous n’avons malheureusement pas eu droit au petit dessert offert comme ça a été le cas dans tous les restaurants dans lesquels nous sommes allés en Crète au cours des 6 derniers jours. Nous aurions apprécié cette petite touche d’hospitalité. Mais c’était une belle expérience et le personnel était sympathique à part la patronne qui nous a accueillis de manière moyennement aimable à notre arrivée.

Die Zimmer wurden nicht gereinigt. Shampoo reichte für einen Tag. WLAN ging nicht. Frühstück musste man extra bezahlen. Joghurt mit Honig 6 Euro etc. Die Taverne macht nicht gerade den saubersten Eindruck. Schade, so eine schöne Lage und diese negativen Eindrücke.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026El alojamiento tiene muy buena ubicación, no hay nada más cerca de la playa de Elafonisi. Parking con muchas plazas. Hay un supermercado cerca y un par de restaurantes aparte del del hotel en el que se come bien. La habitación era amplia y la cama cómoda. Las fotografías de la piscina y de la zona ajardinada de la web no le hacen justicia, mucho mejor de lo que parecen.
Todo bien.

Trotz der guten Lage zum Strand und dem tollen Pool zu teuer. Das Zimmer waren klein, ohne besondere Ausstattung. Das Bad winzig. Dort hat es ständig nach Abfluss gestunken. Frühstücken als Option ist nicht möglich und wenn man sich dann etwas zusammenstellt auch viel zu teuer.

But if you're looking for the absolute best location to experience Elafonisi, I honestly don't think it can be beaten. The people working here were genuinely warm, welcoming and always happy to help. Their kindness and hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The rooms are simple and a little dated.

Rapport qualité /prix: c’est clairement du vol! Vue sur la plage : oui mais de très loin, de la piscine de l’hôtel en fait. 2 mouches mortes dans le réfrigérateur, bouilloire chauffe très peu, même pas une bouteille d’eau au frais, le balcon c’est une terrasse en fait qui sent l’urine à plein nez! La réceptionniste n’était pas accueillante ni aimable et l’employé qui nous a conduit à notre chambre l’a fait au pas de charge

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Las villas tienen una piscina espectacular que puedes usar a cualquier hora dia o noche. Es el alojamiento mas cercano a la playa de Elafonisi. El alojamiento para 4 es grsnde y losxsofas cama muy comodos oara dormir. Además con aire acondicionado muy bueno. Por último puedes comer en el restaurante de ellos quedes espectacular y esta en la misma finca.
Mejoraría la cubertería, y que el mobiliario está anticuado.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Great location, right next to the beach - I suspect this is why people stay here. The pool is really nice and was the saving grace. But I wouldn’t pay £100 a night just for that.
We stayed in room 6 and it was extremely basic and nothing like the pictures shown on booking.com. We had a table with a kettle and 2 glasses but no cups, a mirror, a wardrobe, a bed and bedside tables and a TV about the size of a small computer monitor half obscured by the wardrobe. The bed was so uncomfortable and falling down at the headboard, my partner had to fix it himself. The bathroom looks nice enough but you can see it is unfinished when you look towards the ceiling, and there was a leak so the floors were permanently wet. It smelled of sewage which came into the room. We were informed that the WiFi was down and there was nothing they could do about it. The bar/restaurant was empty and shut at 10pm on a Saturday night. Very odd. Probably fine if you’re into hostels but this was priced at hotel level.

Dovessi tornare sceglierei di nuovo questa struttura, nonostante i molti limiti, perché ti permette di goderti la spiaggia in orari in cui non c’è la grande folla che si riversa in giornata. Con due bimbi piccoli ho apprezzato la bella piscina per le ore più calde
Le camere sono datate, il bagno minuscolo senza neanche un piano d’appoggio. Wi-Fi non funzionante

Letto scomodo, formiche che uscivano dalle piastrelle della doccia, condizionatore puntato sul letto, mancano le tende oscuranti dove non ci sono le tapparelle, zanzariera rotta (quindi non si poteva aprire la finestra, pertanto di notte c'era caldo asfissiante). Arredamento davvero molto essenziale, nemmeno un cestino in camera (solo in bagno, ma con coperchio rotto).

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026The location is unbeatable. The hotel is AFTER the bar that obstructs all (other) cars from getting close to the beach. The bar lifts for hotel guest cars. From your hotel room you can walk to the beach in 7-8 minutes. When we arrived we had to go to the taverna (restaurant) to pick up the key. Very friendly staff. Very polite and accommodating. Free parking on premise, just steps from your room’s door.
The room was clean but the bathroom needed a bit more! The taverna offers decent food but not as good as tavernas in nearby villages like Elos.

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026Emplacement super pour se rendre à la plage prisée d'Elafonisi car on peut s'y rendre avant l'arrivée des bus touristiques et autres. Piscine sympa. Jolie vue. Proximité du resturant et minimarket. Parking. Personnel sympa.
Salle de bain très petite et mauvaise odeur + fuite de la cuvette donc eau sale au sol dès qu'on tire la chasse. Television peu fonctionnelle. Proposition de changer de chambre mais problème similaire dans autres chambres.

Reviewed Jun 25, 2026Miejsce wyjątkowe pod każdym względem . Przepiękna błękitna kraina z różowym piaskiem i wspaniałymi plażami. Tawerna Panorama serwująca Grecką kuchnię w której każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie . Obsługa tawerny bardzo życzliwa i na najwyższym poziomie. Mam nadzieję że jeszcze tam kiedyś powrócimy.

Das Zimmer ist in die Jahre gekommen sollte man schnellstmöglich renovieren!!!! Beim Spülen des WC flossen unten Wasser aus dem wc 🚽 und natürlich verunreinigtes Wasser und dann entsteht ein Geruch den man nicht im Zimmer haben möchte

Reviewed Jun 18, 2026Eine kleine, wirklich sehr schöne Anlage mit einem sehr schönen Pool. Schade, daß die Zimmer diesem ersten Eindruck nicht entsprochen haben. Sehr spartanisch, einsamer wasserkocher, nasses Bad. Aber für ein bis zwei Nächte völlig in Ordnung. Taverne können wir nicht bewerten, da nicht dort gewesen.

Reviewed Jun 13, 2026Πολύ ωραίο και ευρύχωρο δωμάτιο. Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, με πανοραμική θέα στην παραλία. Διαθέτει άνετο ιδιωτικό πάρκινγκ και το προσωπικό ήταν ιδιαίτερα ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό. Η διαμονή άξιζε απόλυτα.

Keine Erreichbarkeit von der Rezeption, die Bettdecken waren nicht sauber, der Abfluss hat gestunken, die Unterkunft hat gewirkt, als ob alles schon für den Winter weggeräumt ist. Der Pool war dreckig. Bei Kontaktsuche über Booking, kam zu erst eine Antwort, die meine Fragen nicht beantwortet hat und dann keine mehr.

Reviewed Oct 17, 2025Best position for Elafonisi beach, with car parking and a pleasant outdoor environment. The only staff member we met was very friendly, and tried his best. Well laundered sheets and pillow cases.
Never asked for name or booking reference, seemed surprised to see us, no room seemed to be allocated. Therefore, room not ready on arrival at check in time. Had to wait for an hour before we could move in. Stained mattress and no mattress pad/ protector. Management did not reply to booking.com messages. Never managed to get the Wi-Fi password, so no WiFi No in room cooking facilities just a kettle and 2 glasses. No cups, plates, knife etc. Room nor serviced during our stay, albeit a short one. The onsite restaurant was closed, so had to go elsewhere to eat. Fortunately, good restaurant next door was open.

Chambre très rudimentaire, pas conforme aux photos. Beaucoup d’interrupteurs qui n’allument rien d’autre qu’un vieux lustre (2 ampoules sur 6 sont présentes). Salle de bain très restreinte sans rideau autour de la douche (tout est détrempé, y compris le WC). Pas de WIFI disponible (en panne?). Impossible de faire fonctionner la (très petite TV) : 2 commandes à distance avec des piles qui s’échappent et ne servent à rien. Le restaurant (qui n’accepte que du cash car panne d’internet) était fermé lors du Check-out alors qu’il était sensé être ouvert à 8h30. Pour terminer, serrure de la porte très capricieuse et demandant beaucoup de doigté et de chipoterie.

Reviewed Oct 10, 2025Location is amazing! Closest you can get to the beach! BUT do it Room smelled of sewage often The towels were like Brillo pads Mattress was hard Yet! The pool was refreshing and clean and the view was beautiful. The proximity to the beach is unique and therefore worth sacrificing the other things for a night or two but know it’s not luxury- but neither is the price. Plus the relaxed Cretan vibe is lovely to experience. The tavern managing the space was lovely, good tavern food and kind had working people working there too. We especially connected with Randy.

Reviewed Oct 8, 2025Super schöne Lage, sehr nah am Elafonisi Beach. Gut um morgens früh oder spät abends den Strand ohne die hunderte von Menschen zu genießen, die circa ab 10 Uhr kommen
Da gab es mehrere Sachen: Am Anfang wurden wir in ein kleines, extrem stinkendes Appartement geführt. Da wären wir nicht geblieben. Wir sind rückwärts wieder raus. Uns fiel zum Glück noch auf, das wir etwas anderes, größeres gebucht hatten. Das war viel kleiner. Die Dame im Restaurant wusste erstaunlich schnell, was nicht stimmt und was wir beanstanden (das war komisch)…das nächste Appartement war größer, mit Küche, die aber nicht als Küche bezeichnet werden kann. Es gab nichts, nicht mal eine Kaffeemaschine oder Zucker oder ein bisschen Salz. Keine Pfanne, kaum Geschirr. Die Matratze knallhart, die Kissen viel zu dick und fest. Der Fernseher ist nur Attrappe, es fehlen Kabel und selbst die Batterien in der Fernbedienung, keine Glühbirnen in den Lampen. Es gab tatsächlich nur eine einzige! Die Dusche hat keinen Spritzschutz, das Wasser der Toilette läuft ständig durch, auch mitten in der Nacht etc…Wir haben nur zwei Nächte gebucht, es hätte auch eine gereicht.
