We had breakfast from day one,on the booking it showed booking included breakfast...when we were checking out we were told to pay for breakfast from day 1 till last day which was not explained to from onset.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026La struttura si trova poco fuori Pongola, in un villaggio, molto ben segnalata, si entra in una stradina secondaria e c’è questa meravigliosa casa,il proprietario ed i collaboratori ti accolgono con il cuore, abbiamo chiesto se potevamo cenare e per circa 12 euro ti preparano una cena privata nella parte comune (cucina molto bella e super moderna). Francisco il ragazzo ci ha spiegato molti particolari della cultura zulù, è stata una serata meravigliosa. Super sicuro. Nel bagno oltre a bagnoschiuma c’era anche crema corpo, ho apprezzato moltissimo questa cortesia. La colazione fantastica. Il proprietario grande imprenditore! Top!
Nella stanza sembrava ci fosse un po di odore di umidità, per una notte di passaggio è ok. Mentre arrivi ci vuole un po di spirito di adattamento ma molto sicura la zona. Tutti super gentili

They should consider putting a board on the offramp from the main road indicating the direction of the place. The place is close to the main road but navigator took me on a longer route off the main road because there was no board to follow.

Reviewed Feb 14, 2026Wir waren in einem schön eingerichteten Gästehaus in Pongola untergebracht. Wir sind sehr spät angekommen und hatten den ganzen Tag noch nichts gegessen. Die Eigentümerin hat uns dann persönlich zu einem Restaurant gefahren und nach dem Essen auch wieder abgeholt. Für diesen Service mussten wir nichts bezahlen. Es war einfach nur freundlich.

Die Unterkunft hat unsere Buchung ignoriert. Erst am Nachmittag des Ankunfttages wurden wir per Mail von der Unterkunft informiert, dass es keinen Platz gibt. Immerhin wurde uns eine andere Unterkunft angeboten, die aber einen deutlich schlechteren Standard hatte.

Das WLAN-Signal war in unserem Zimmer leider schwach und es gab öfters Abbrüche.

After calling them letting them know that we would arrive late, they were perfect fine with it and that was followed up by a WhatsApp text which included the location. The staff is exceptional friendly and so willing to help. The apartment itself is exceptional. Great value for money. I do not think there are better places around the area. Great place. Great staff. Great price. Great everything really.

Reviewed Oct 2, 2025Very nice owner! The best breakfast ever! We are European and do not like the English breakfast. We asked them if they had yoghurt or so. And they had and so much more. Many different kind of fruits, chicken, cheese, hard boiled eggs, it was perfect! And for the evening there is a kitchen were you could cook if you want. And Netflix TV in the common area (I do not know how it is in the rooms, we did not try).
