We loved everything!
De vriendelijke ontvangst, de ruimte in de leuk ingerichte cabin, het uitzicht, de rust op de afgelegen locatie.

The cabin is an absolute gem of a place. It is so well made and built with care - simple yet stylish, spotlessly clean, so cozy, and has a beautiful view. It has all the thoughtful touches: a comfortable bed, strong Wi-Fi, a nice bathroom (loved the wallpaper!), a great shower, a selection of books, a mini-fridge, essential kitchenware, and even a jar of ground coffee ready for the morning. The guest orientation guide was also made with great care, complete with maps and helpful tips for the cabin and exploring the area. It's a lovely base for hiking and exploring the area's beauty. Big thanks to David: it was great to chat with you! You ensured we had everything we needed (didn't expect e-bikes to be one of those, but now we are hooked). We tried as many of your recommendations as possible - all turned out to be brilliant. Oh, and Bella - really enjoyed the cuddles! We couldn't have asked for a better stay, thank you so much!
There’s absolutely nothing to dislike.... except that I should have booked more nights :)
A very beautiful place to spend some time in peace and quiet - incredible nature all around! Lots of things to do... We just didn't have enough time to look at everything. Nice tiny home, beautifully decorated. All the essential are there and David and Amy were very welcoming, even providing us with their e-bikes for our short stay.
I loved everything about the cabin: the place, the views, our host Amy, the peace.... It's a real paradise!
Not a single thing.

The location of the cabin is stunning. The views on a clear day, the sunrise from your bed. The peace and tranquility was just what we needed.
Amy was lovely, very welcoming and helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. The cabin is beautiful and equipt with everything you could need. So peaceful and calm with extraordinary views. Couldn't recommend this place enough. A gem. Best sleep iv had in months!!!
Maybe provide a TV - for the evening time ( option switch it on or not)
It was very peaceful and quiet. Lovely views and walks in the area.
Bed wasn't overly comfortable.
Great location, well equipped and cozy cabin. Beautiful location, really close to inisfree.
Remote and quiet
Beautiful, peaceful cabin. Simple, clean interior, great use of the space. Has a wonderful view and location. Owners are friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Highly recommend.
Nothing. It was exceptional.
The property was an incredible retreat. The space felt welcoming and cozy all while being open to the gorgeous landscape it’s tucked into. Everything I needed was in the space and felt really thought out.
Nothing!
A lovely cabin, tastefully decorated, cosy, clean, simple, lovely views, very happy. Hosts were great, not far from Innisfree island and walks around Lough Gill.
Nothing
The peacefulness and country surrounds.
Needed milk/sugar and the curtains didn’t block a lot of light for your very early bright mornings
Fabulous stay. Will definitely be back.
Absolutely gorgeous peaceful location with stunning views to the beautiful garden, Lough Gill and beyond yet only 20 minutes to Sligo Town. Interesting art and great local books made the space even more special. Amy was friendly and generous and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended.
One of the most beautiful places I've stayed. David and Amy were brilliant hosts and we felt totally at home. A perfectly peaceful place to get away from everything and be in the most beautiful landscape. I could not recommend it more.
Beautiful spot & lovely chats with Amy. Just as lovely as I imagined. Feels very remote but only 20 mins into Sligo.
Location
A bit too expensive
Brilliant location, very helpful friendly hosts Will definitely be returning to the place again
Clean, tidy, amazing hosts, friendly and ready to answer all your questions. Total privacy and beautiful nature in front of the room.
AMY and DAVID were fabulous hosts. The cabin in the woods was delightful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Their knowledge of the area and it's history really brought our stay to life. David's love of the poet WB Yeats was inspiring. Amy proved to be a talented artist and songwriter. We were invited to join them and some other talented and friendly musicians for an informal music night in the Moran pub in Dromahair. This turned into a fantastic night. Everybody contributed to the entertainment in their own way. Two nights just wasn't long enough. I can thoroughly recommend staying at "Innisfreedom."

Stunning location with amazing views. Very quiet and peaceful. Cabin was beautifully decorated with really comfy bed.
V helpful, friendly hosts. Lovely position.
Amazing property with wonderful views of Lough Gill and surrounding mountains. Nestled on the side of a hill but within easy distance of everything you need. Amy and David were really friendly and available if you had any questions. Great location for walking, cycling, beaches, shopping and great food. We hope to be back!
Beautiful location with lovely view- Amy and David were very friendly and helpful with local sight suggestions
A bit buggy for the opening of screen less windows
Location was perfect
Another easy chair would have been good.
I met David on arrival ,gave me good advice on local restaurants etc. I met Amy a their little dog Jose later on ( Jose is a wee dote) . Really nice people had a nice chat . Very comfortable stay there cabin has everything you need . Cycled a lap of lough Gill on the first day . Stunning area to explore . I will stay longer next time as there is so much to see . Thanks for your hospitality and help . Colin
Lovely property out in the outbacks of Sligo, a beautiful backdrop with lots of fantastic tourist attractions close by.

Beautiful, remote cabin in the woods! It felt so relaxing and peaceful. Amy and David were such nice hosts! The cabin was really clean and comfortable with a lovely shower and good facilities for cooking.
Quiet location. Very pleasant, cosy accommodation.
This was my favourite place to stay so far in Ireland. The views were amazing, the bed was comfortable, the hosts were welcoming and the whole place was peaceful and quiet.
Everything was verry nice. Cabin was verry clean. View was amazing. They had everything you need. No tv so gives u oppotynity to get rest from media. Staff was verry nice. Verry mutch liked it.
The hairdryer is for styiling short hair. The matress gave back pain due to mutch softness. Condensation on windows had to wipe it every morning so dont get moldy.
We liked everything about it. It’s remote but not too remote if you’re not driving. The property is cosy and very welcoming. Even with bad/rainy weather the property is beautiful. The cabin is cosy, very eco friendly and has everything one needs.
There was nothing we didn’t like.
Host was brilliant would recommend staying there to anyone
Clean and friendly thank you
Little cold but it was winter
Location is beautiful
Cozy cabin in a gorgeous location, with lots of beautiful hiking routes nearby.
The property had everything we needed, including some lovely treats like home grown apples and delicious lemon drizzle cake, complements of Amy.
Everything was perfect. Would highly recommend a visit.
Beautiful set up!
This was better than I was expecting! David and Amy both met us upon our arrival and welcomed us to the area. The cabin itself was beautiful and unique, very clean and comfortable. I loved waking up in the morning and opening the full length window onto the garden and taking in a deep breath while looking out over the countryside. This was a very restful, peaceful stay and my boyfriend and I had a great time exploring Sligo! I would highly recommend this cabin.
No complaints!
Amazing wee spot hidden in the countryside with beautiful views very clean tidy and well presented and really good value for money would 100% stay here again the owners were very helpful with our late arrival and very accommodating thank you
Perfect location to relax, switch off or get work done!
Location
Really amazing location, lots of greenery and art around the area and perfect view of the Sligo Foothills. It was amazing waking up and seeing nothing but beauty.
Honestly our only issue was a lack of television, which is amusing to say with nature's window right there.
Lovely place. Quiet, secluded and peaceful. Very comfortable.
Amy and David are amazing hosts and their cabin was spectacular, located in a countryside and peaceful place with breathtaking views. Big enough to fit comfortably two people and equipped with everything needed for sleeping, showering, or cooking. We appreciated the coffee, tea, fresh bread, butter, and milk, which was very handy for a quick breakfast. Easy to move around by car with pubs within easy reach and about 15 minutes to the city centre or touristic attractions. Definitely recommended for a wonderful experience!
Very nice and cosy🫶🏼
This cabin is a bit rustic, but the setting was amazing. It was comfortable and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. There were 2 options for dinner w/in 10 minutes of the cabin, and it is down the road from the Isle of Innisfree Yeats wrote about. We watched the sunset overlooking the lake--magical.
The views are amazing. The cabin is cool to stay in and it's clean and tidy.
Albeit a late check in and early check out, I didn't actually get to meet anybody sadly. The key was left in the door on arrival and no contact from the owners themselves throughout. An email even would have been nice about checking in when nobody is on site.
Was a lovely wee cabin. Amy & David were very helpful. Will definitely be back.
