Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt im Divewhale Homestay. Alles war einfach großartig: die wunderschön gestaltete Unterkunft, in der man spüren kann, wie viel Herzblut in sie geflossen ist. Zugleich ist sie modern und gut ausgestattet. Nur einen kurzen Fußweg entfernt gibt es einen kleinen Beach, an dem wir sehr viele Meeresschildkröten gesehen haben und sie im Wasser beim Schnorcheln beobachten konnten. Sie sind sehr nah am Strand, oft im flachen Wasser, also kein Tauchen notwendig.  Eine fantastische Erfahrung. Und es war eine wahre Freude, unsere beiden Gastgeber kennenzulernen und sich mit ihnen zu unterhalten. Mit Google -Translater klappt das prima. Sie sind äußerst herzlich und immer um unser (auch leibliches) Wohl besorgt. Die gesamte Insel ist sehr entspannt,  super mit dem E- Bike  oder Scooter zu erkunden (kann vorab durch die Unterkunft organisiert werden), mit vielen Lokalen zum lecker essen. Wir  würden sehr gerne wiederkommen und können es zu 100% empfehlen.Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt im Divewhale Homestay. Je mets rarement 10 mais là c 'etait exceptionnel ! Une chambre spacieuse, lumineuse, bien décorée et très propre. Un petit rooftop face à la mer. Le tout très bien placé avec une plage à 2 mn. Et surtout surtout l accueil des propriétaires qui ont vraiment été aux petits soins pour nous ( ils sont venus nous chercher à la gare, nous ont accompagné réserver un scooter, un snorkelling) et plein petites autres attentions... Ils ne parlent pas Anglais mais ça n'a vraiment pas été un problème de communiquer avec un traducteur et des sourires...

It was such a delight to stay here! Location: close to the centre and harbour, but quite and 1 minute walk to a small beach Room: tastefully, comfortable and clean Facilities: Fridge for common use and a hot/cold water dispenser at the reception Owners: No words to discribe how extremely friendly, helpful and hospitable they were! They picked me up and returned me to the harbour with their car, made sure all my questions were answered and provided me with several kinds of taiwanese snacks and even a wonderfully prepared freshly caught fish. It was a delight to stay at their place!

近海邊戲水方便可沖腳，離市區也不遠鬧中取靜，民宿主人用心經營海洋主題挑高房間寬敞，環境整潔衛浴乾淨明亮水壓大沖澡舒爽，採自助式服務方便週到CP值高，頂樓有無敵海景下午還有在地小點心 !

Very comfortable stay and great hosts who helped us book excursions, bicycles and lots of helpful advice. We used the common area for our meals and it was an opportunity for friendly banter with our hosts and other guests. It felt very much like home, so thank you very much for a lovely stay and we will see you next time we are over.

There were no downsides

We had an exceptional stay at Divewhale Homestay. The hospitality was warm and attentive, and the owners made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring the island. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing experience. Thank you again to the entire family!

The curtains were not very effective at blocking out light.

The hosts were really helpful and friendly. They communicated with us a lot through Messenger (in English), provided afternoon snacks, gave us snorkling masks to use during the day and even dropped us off at the port when we were leaving! The room was simple, but clean and had everything we needed.

The host family is kind, friendly and eager to make sure you have a lovely stay. They are willing to help you with everything to make your stay at their island and the rest of Taiwan super. Our daughter was free to play with their children and their toys ☺️

The breakfast shop is far from the hotel. It would be better if we could order and eat at the room.
