Haltinmaa Cottages

After a day riding my motorbike through rainy, cold weather, I arrived towards evening. The room in the cabine was a bit narrow. For mee alone ok., for two persons it would have been to small. We shared a kitchen and the perhaps smallest bathroom/toilet with 3 other rooms (in total 6 persons). Very usefull was the dryingbox. If everyone would have cooked, the kitchen would have been to small.

Sisäänkirjautuminen sujui ja apua sai puhelimitse.

Mökissä oli 4 huonetta ja yhdessä huoneessa majoittunut asukas oli töykeä ja outo. Tuntui ettei ollut kovin tervetullut mökkiin vaikka yhteisten tilojen on tarkoitus olla kaikille.

Huone juuri sellainen mitä yhtenä yönä tarvitaan. Siisti paikka ja sijainti erinomainen.

Avainta hakiessa vastaanotto ei ollut kauhean hyvä. Työntekijä oli kiukkuisen oloinen. Hymyily ei maksa mitään ja saa majoittujan tuntemaan itsensä tervetulleeksi! Yläsängyssä oli säleikkö ns. rikki eli narut jotka yhdistää säleikön niin osittain irti. Sai pelätä, että kaveri putoo niskaan.

Makuuhuone ajoi hyvin asiansa, kun etsittiin nimenomaan nukkumispaikkaa. Huone oli hyvä ja siisti. Keittiöstä löytyi myös kaikki tarvittava. Vaatteiden kuivauskaappi oli tosi hyvä märkien ulkovaatteiden kuivaukseen

Vessassa olisin kaivannut hieman laskutilaa tavaroille.

I only stayed for one night at Rate Haltinmaa Cottages, but I was very happy with my stay. The place was clean and comfortable, and the room had everything I needed. There were no issues with hot water. You can also have dinner in the building where the reception is located. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay!

Paikka oli likainen ja epämiellyttävä haju, sekä erittäin ahtaat huoneet

Sopiva majoitus kahdelle, joilla on vähäiset matkatavarat, kuten vaeltajat ennen tai jälkeen maastoreissun. Suihku, wc ja keittonurkkaus käytettävissä samassa rakennuksessa. Pieni makuuhuone on yksityinen tila lukittavalla ovella.

Kätevä yhden yön majoittumiseen. Hiljainen paikka.

Vessa oli pieni, suihku tulvi vettä. Yhteiset tilat piti siivota vaikka asuntoon jäi vielä porukkaa. Riittäisikö vain omien jälkien siivoaminen ja roskien vienti?

Rummet var i minsta laget.

Onhan se huone vähän pieni, mutta eihän siellä käydä kuin nukkumassa.

Huone oli pienempi kuin kuvasta olisi voinut ymmärtää. Ylävuode oli niin hataran oloinen, että sinne ei uskaltanut kiivetä. Pubi yllättäen suljettu parhaaseen sesonkiaikaan.Jo

Sijainti. Hyvällä paikalla Kilpisjärveä. Kauppa ja ravintola lähellä.

Neljä pientä koppia talossa joissa vaan kerrossänky, hylly ja naulakko. Pihan grillikota ei toimi (aivan kamala savu). Omat puut pitää ostaa, onneksi oli mukana. Asiakkaita varten uhkauslappuja joka puolella majoitusta että jollei ole siistiä niin lasku lähtee perään. Suihkukopin viemäri vetää huonosti. WC.sta puuttuu käsipyyhkeet/paperit.

Palvelu oli ystävällistä ja saimme myös kahvia lähteissä. Pääsimme majoittumaan myöhään, mikä oli hyvä. Molemmissa sängyissä oli oma lukuvalo. Kompakti huone toimi hyvin yhden yön majoituksessa.

Huoneen hintaan saisi kuulua siivous, jotta tietäisi huoneen olevan siivottu. Yläkerran sänkyyn voisi laittaa jonkin korin/hyllyn puhelimelle ja vesipullolle.

I wish I knew how much the extra fee was for the linens beforehand. It was about $17 for just one set. Also the bathroom facility was not the cleanest, nor the provided bed linens in the room.

Close to Saana Fell trails, great deal for the price.

I think the best thing is the location. Specially if you are planning a drive to Norway, this is a best location to stay for a night and fresh your legs.

The room is bit small for 2 people if you want to bring your luggage and everything inside. We visited in July and luckily the shared spaces like kitchen and bathroom were all for our use and we did not feel any space issue.

Lätt att parkera precis utanför stugan. Fyra små rum. Gemensamt kök och badrum. Rent och snyggt. Bra utrustade kök.

Det fanns inget wifi. Lakan ingår ej, tas med eller hyrs.

Die Gemeinschaftsräume sind sehr gut und ansprechend ausgestattet. Alles war sehr sauber. Man kann gutKochen, es gibt eine Terasse, alles macht einen neuwertigen Eindruck.

Tila siistit ja tarvittavat varustelut löytyi. Mökissä oli yhteiskäytössä keittiö ja wc/suihku. Tällä kertaa meitä onnisti ja saatiin koko tila omaan käyttöön.

Sisällä sääntöjä ja. uhkauksia siitä, mitä saa ja mitä ei saa tehdä. Ehkä majoittajalla on ollut ongelmia turistien kanssa, mutta tuntui ikävältä, ettei yhtään luotettu.

It was fun to see reindeer walking around during breakfast.

The bathroom was very small and the shower and toilet was in the same room.

Nice cottage with private bathroom and sauna. No kitchen inside, but there was a microwave oven and a fridge.

Convenient location near ski tracks.

At the time I was there, I was the only one in the cottage, so I had the whole space to myself, which was quite nice. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the common room was a good size for me as I was on my own.

The toilet seemed to be too small, although it was enough for me as I was on my own, but imagine if the cottage was full. There was only 1 small toilet for 3 rooms, which accommodates possibly a total of 6 people.

Warm welcome. Reindeers around. Quiet location (despite close road). Good cost/benefit ratio.

Please be aware that you share the living space and bathroom with three other rooms close to each other. Not a complaint, it's just the way it is.

Location was great, short walk to everywhere.

No breakfast option available, thin walls and very small rooms(had trouble fitting our two hiking backpacks in) and only one toilet/shower room for max 8 people.

Sinner buffet table was great. It costed 18€ and there were escpecially big dessert table.

Service was pretty clumsy and tired.

Check in is after 2pm, in the morning I just need to return from the behind of the main house. I think the food there really nice although I did not check. They serve a buffet from noon to evening, and other meals are look acceptable with the price. There is a bar there also. I see that the guests can borrow the bike for a short period (2 hours). The heating system is really nice. I was there in the summer and the black curtain prevents really well the sun outside.

The cost does not include the bed linen and tower, so be careful about that, but the host will charge if you need. I stayed in a small room in a cabin of 4 rooms, so a bit small if there are noises from others. However, with this price, I cannot expect more than that.

location is very strategic for you to go to Sanaa Fell hiking and 3 country border boat ride. Hostel is well equipped with kitchen utensils ,coffee makers, toaster and micro oven too. Every basic beeds are taken care of.. The restaurant has very good food.

It was very hidden that the towels/bed sheets cost extra, and they were quite expensive. Although they were clean, my bed sheets had holes in them
