Frogfish Apartment

Das Apartment war schön, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Zudem ist man direkt im Zentrum. Der Verwalter vor Ort war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Am ärgerlichsten war es, die Dachterrasse abends nicht nutzen zu können. Ab frühen Abend saß man leider im Dunst der Restaurant-Küche, welche sich direkt unter dem Apartment befindet und gegen Mitternacht wurde dann die Musik auf der Dachterrasse des Hotels nebenan bis Sonnenaufgang so laut gemacht, dass man auf der eigenen Dachterrasse regelrecht beschallt wurde. Zum schlafen im Apartment war Gehörschutz notwendig.

We had a very pleasant stay at Frog Fish Apartment in Dahab. The apartment is spacious, clean, and very well equipped, which made our stay really comfortable. A big advantage is the location — it is located practically right next to the promenade in the center of Dahab, yet thanks to the windows facing the other side, the apartment is quiet and peaceful inside. What we liked the most was the large private rooftop terrace, where we spent warm evenings after long days out. Communication with the owner was very good and everything went smoothly. Since we travel to Dahab several times a year, there is a good chance we will come back again.

The location is fantastic and the beds are very comfortable.

The apartment owner was super helpful, friendly and responsive so he gets a 10/10. The apartment is in a good location in the centre of Dahab - great for our dive school. The beds (we slept in the singles) were fairly comfy and the bedding nice and clean.

There are no windows in the living and kitchen areas and the windows in the bedrooms open onto a wall or the side of a staircase so the apartment it is incredibly dark. As you’re close to many restaurants there is a lot of noise at night and close by there is some machine that makes a constant noise (like a compressor). The kitchen is shabby and the glasses dirty, the kitchen sponges and tea towels were dirty. However the main issue that has cause such a low score was the horrendous smell that came from the bathroom. The owner said it was sewage (which would’ve been bad enough) but it was an incredibly strong noxious chemical smell that caused our throats to be sore and made breathing painful for me. The owner came to fix the problem three times but the smell rapidly came back. If I’d have been able to afford to I’d have moved to a different place.

Brilliant location, great size and fantastic terrace. The staff were exceptional, very generous and responsive. Excellent value for money - would strongly recommend.

One of the rooms has very little light (the window opens up to a brick wall). Would’ve preferred a bit more light in there.

The wifi was strong enough for video calls and there is a table and chair for working. When the water didn't work on the first day and the wifi didn't work on the third the apt manager responded quickly to solve the problem. The location in the city, right by the bridge, is excellent. There is a rooftop deck with lights and chairs and two feral cat families, and a little bit of the sea is visible, though it is not private because of a neighbor and restaurant which both have balcony next to you. Having 4 beds in 2 bedrooms could be useful to a family.

There is zero light due to no real windows, you wake up in the morning and it's completely black. There will be some noise and music from your neighbors and the street outside, though not as bad as some places. The water in the shower is different than anywhere else I've stayed in Dahab - my soap would stick and make scum on my skin and hair, didn't in the place before or after, very strange. The bathroom often smelled quite bad. A bike was listed as being available for rent with the apartment, but after asking for it multiple times I was ignored, and the bike is quite old and dirty and left locked outside.

Apartamento amplio y cómodo con todo lo necesario para una buena estancia. Terraza amplia con buenas vistas a las montañas. La comunicación con el anfitrión ha sido muy buena y ha respondido rápidamente para solucionar cualquier contra tiempo, si volviera a Dahab repetiría si pudiera.

I loved the location, it’s in the middle of everything you need, accessible to beach, shops & restaurants. There is a parking slot nearby and close to the police checkpoint which is v safe. There apartment was clean & tidy with all facilities and conditioners. Also the owner is very helpful & flexible

There is no view from the apartment but the roof is nice

Great location, very, very nice roof terrace with a wonderful view, kitchen has everything you need, comfortable beds and enough blankets.

Noise that came from who knows where at night and disturbed our sleep. We did not feel welcome after questions that we could leave earlier.

The place was amazing. I found it clean and well-equipped. Its location was perfect. The stay was super comfortable.
