Palolem Apartments

Clean and the hosts were both nice. Close to the beach too!

Overall Good

Need television in apartment

Nothing they cancelled stating we had not paid 50%deposit even though the booking was guaranteed by you through my bank card

Nothing about the host or property was good

The host posted all photo shopped pictures. When confronted during check in she said that the pictures were of 3 bedroom house and we booked 2 bedroom. I paid 8000 for a absolutely ridiculous apartment not worth even 1000. All dirty, horrible fitting. Host was arrogant, and said we can vacate if we don't like after we paid. She said if we confronted she will call the police and get us arrested on lady harassment charges

Location was pretty good

The room I was going to get was changed at the last minute and I basically got a box room but paid the same money

Apartment is in a family yard, always a friendly face in the morning, family welcomed us and very helpful did washing for us too. Always able to contact, very helpful such a nice family! Would love to stay here again next time!

I cannot say. I have no complaints I was very happy here

A localização é muito boa perto da praia mas longe da movimentação. Os anfitriões são muito simpáticos e receberam-nos com algumas palavras em português. O apartamento é enorme .

A casa de banho não tem as condições aceitáveis.

It was modern, with all facilities and amenities at hand. The owners Prakash and Priya and their lovely daughters did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. It was a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and bars and restaurants. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Nothing

Cozy setup with kitchen and all necessaities. The hosts are very polite and hospitality is too good. Markets and restaraunt nearby, surrounded by trees and greenry, mornings are peaceful with birds and calm cool breeze.

Cleaning and home feel

Nothing to say

nature and pleasent stay near to beachs wonderful location, calm and peaceful. love it “It was a peaceful and lovely stay in South Goa, full of good moments and positive vibes.” “You should definitely stay here. You won’t find a better place than this.”

nothing like this, everthing is ok

We had booked the 3bhk apartment. Spacious accommodation with kitchen. Very convenient for groups of 5-8 members. Parking on site is available. The Palolem beach is a 10-15 minute walk away and there are plenty of restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Quiet and private place. Hosts were very helpful.

The apartment was spacious. Getting an apartment with a living room, dinning room, kitchen, balcony and 2 bedroom at this price was awesome. You have gas stove, utensils and a fridge, all of these came handy to us. The hosts are also good and friendly . Thank you Priya, Pooja and Prakash for the hospitality.

I wish we had 2 toilets or at least a separate toilet and bathroom. But as mentioned above in what do I like section too many positives already so we can ignore this. A board or signage on the road will help people to find this amazing place.

Basically everything is great.

It would be nice to have also a kettle, a toaster and clothes dryer.

The hosts were kind, helpful and very nice. We loved our stay. The facilities were excellent, our rooms were newly renovated and very comfortable.

We only moved to stay at another hotel since we wanted to stay closer to the ocean since we are swimmers.

Friendly staff Nice to have a kitchen area Nice to have a hot shower Bed comfortable and accommodation good overall

Quite far from the beach compared to other accommodations in the area.

The hosts were very nice and we had our own apartment with almost everything we needed. Somebody said in the reviews there are agressive monkeys but it was not the case in our stay which is a shame because we would love to see them

There was a frog in our bathroom a few times but she was friendly and very small, the sockets were not always working

Stayed in spacious Double Bed Room Apartment with Car Parking. Owners Priya / Prakash are accomodating they speak good English & Hindi. Both Bed Rooms have AC. Owner showed their other rooms 1 BHK, Studio , 3 BHK (Newly construted) - Awesome in styling and amenities..

Located with convenient access to all points of interest in Palolem. Beautiful apartments built with care by the owner with a beautiful garden surrounding the place and a pasture out the back window with cows and birds and one monkey spotted day 1 on the rooftop. The father of the home stay was attentive and helped us plan our day trips. Called the taxi and showed us his favourite spot in the South of Goa. The response times to all email inquiries was quick and appreciated.

It was very warm during the day. Would like to come back in winter season. But still would recommend it if you only have time off in early April.

We rented one of the 3 bedroomed apartments - ground floor of the big house – for 4 weeks. Property was very comfortable and spacious with fans and AC in all the bedrooms. We had a lovely balcony looking out onto the lush, green garden. Plenty of birdlife to spot. Beds were really comfortable and we all slept really well. We had 3 bathrooms with excellent showers. The properties are set in a safe and secure compound near the family home – set back from the road. Quiet and secluded. We have holidayed in this area before and this property is very well located. A 5 minute walk to Palolem beach and 10-15 minutes to Patnem beach. Plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance and some small local shops nearby. We recommend the family run Kashish café for breakfast, lunch or dinner – it is a 2 minute walk from the property. Its a short auto-rickshaw ride into Chaudi - a busy little town with a great fruit and veg market on Saturday mornings. Our hosts, Prakesh, his wife Pooja and daughter Priya were very friendly and helpful. Prakesh advised us on local attractions, where to get what we wanted and arranged taxis at our request. He will also organise rental of scooters or push-bikes. We booked the property a few months in advance via Priya. Communication before and during our stay was excellent. Priya’s English is very good and she is really helpful and reliable. We had a fantastic holiday staying at this property and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you to Prakesh, Pooja and Priya for looking after us so well.

The rental is relatively expensive for the area and payment is in cash. Getting out money from a (foreign) bank account is not easy in the area and there’s a charge. However there are plenty of currency exchange places offering good rates of exchange. As it’s not possible (certainly in the UK) to buy rupees before you travel I recommend you take your own currency with you to exchange in Palolem or Patnem.

Overall stay was pleasant and good. Owners family was very helpful and caring. Palolem is very nice and beautiful place to stay.

Everything is goods

Owner is good nature

First of all i am very greatful to the owners, the family is very kind and helpful. All requests were solved, also they helped to manage my fault with +1 extra night. The 2 bedrooms appartment is very big and comfortable for a family with 2 kids. Location is also good because beach access is around 10 minutes walking, small stores (including alco) is 5 minutes walking and a store with premium food is a 10 minutes walking

Generally the appartment is quite old and not very good furnished, also it is a construction process opposite the building. In my opinion kitchen equipment are not enough for a big family. But this owners also has two another buildingsa which were more modern and comfortable, also one of this building is located inside the beautiful garden. From time to time we have to use riksha to go to the beach because the road is narrow and full of traffic, so it is a bit risky to go by foot with 2 kids.

I booked 1BHK house in this property. Location good. Surrounded by Greenery and Trees. Hosts are very caring. Rooms are clean and spacious. refrigerator available but no TV (in 1 BHK house). AC available in bedroom but not in hall. Dining table is available. Hall has more than enough seating sofas and chairs. There is a shortcut to reach the sea beach ( 8 -10 minutes walk) during day time but avoid taking that shortcut route after sunset. By proper road its around 2 km to reach the main entry of the Palolem beach. Hosts are really nice people.

Not much comfort, but ok to spend a night. Not much option of food and breakfast nearby. Whatever options are there are not of good quality food and prices are too high. Pics shown in the site are of 3BHK apartment. If you are booking for 1 BHK, plz ask for pics before booking. If you looking for comfortable stay for 1 night then ok but not if you looking for little more comfort and luxury. Be specific about check-in and check-out timings.

Host, cleanliness, Wifi connectivity and all the facilities

None

The room was spacious and clean. The location is very close to the beach and near great restaurants! The bathroom was large, the shower was warm and the aircon worked well. The owners are very friendly, they helped us rent a scooter and gave us directions for buses etc. Overall a brilliant place to stay for an extremely reasonable price, would definitely stay again!!

The mattress could do with a topper as you can feel the springs a little, but we still slept well.

5 mins from Cancona Railway station, 3 mins from the highway.. Palolem beach around 1.5 km, Rajbagh beach around 4 km.. situated at a wonderful position, in house cooking facility makes it ideal for families with new born or little baby.. Prakash uncle and Priya have been fabulous hosts.. Great value for money

The apartment was in a very nice complex so everything felt safe and secure. The owner was very kind, we rented the scooter from them, they called a taxi to the airport for us. The room was with AC, fridge and a fan that made AC unecessary at times.

Nice place to stay .
