Wish it had an aircon as it gets cold during the night or maybe an electric blanket since we can’t leave the fireplace with wood burning. Would advice that the property gets a remote controlled gate as stepping out to unlocked and lock is something else.

Reviewed May 5, 2026Wood stove works incredibly well. Wifi was great. Bath and shower was great and the whole place was very clean and had everything we needed.
The blind above the bed lets in light at night so it kept us awake when it was full moon. Some of the furniture needs love but no major complaints.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2025The location is very cool and private, no surrounding noise. It's also very near to the town Square, a walking distance actually. The palace was very clean and had all the necessities, from the kitchen to the bathroom, also has BOTH a bathtub and shower. The house is also big, not cramped like most accommodations, there is plenty of space. Eventhough we didn't have time for TV, they have Netflix. The host Chris-Marie was always available on call, great service indeed, thank you we enjoyed our stay!

A minor thing was the shower's hot and cold mixture not working properly.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2024Amber Self catering is real value for money, very neat and clean, with easy access to all amenities and walking distance to the main town centre. Everything you require is available. The owners are just a call away.
I wish they had mixer taps in the kitchen and bathroom sink. Also, the front garden can be spruced up to look more inviting. Otherwise both apartments are very neat and comfortable.
